Tom's laughter echoed through the stadium as the beasts began to appear. A massive onyx coloured spider, a jade green basilisk, a Hungarian horntail, a bullet bat, a thunder wolf, a mountain splitting bear, a stone ogre, a small bee-like insect that was bright red, a Lethifold and a worm that was coated in incredibly thick stone-like armour.

He couldn't help but smile as adrenaline surged through him. A fire was ignited in his body as a primal urge to devour everything in sight rose within him.

"I hope you can entertain me," he mumbled to himself as he lifted his left arm to the side.

"Shattering spear!" He shouted.

BOOM!

The ground cracked and spilt open instantly as a massive fissured appeared. This action by itself almost caused the barrier to shatter causing everyone to instantly pale and shiver intensely.

A bright red light shot out of the cracks before a boulder levitated upwards and into view.

It cracked quickly as small pieces came off. Slowly, it got thinner and thinner until the shape of a spear could be seen. Like Michelangelo's most beautiful work, it was so detailed that it looked unreal. As if it had been carved by gods.

Tom grabbed it with his outstretched left hand and twirled it around his body at a speed so fast only a constant blur could be seen.

WOOOSH!

A massive gale was formed as he spun his weapon, his body growing by a whole foot as herculean strength coursed through his body.

BOOM!

As soon as the weapon stopped revolving, a small crack was created in the earth.

ROOOOOOAAAAAR!

All ten beasts let out their unique cries in order to stand their ground against the small creature that slightly terrified them.

The Dragon though was the first to stop as Tom's gaze landed on it.

"Come! and bow!" he said, his voice was deep and penetrating. Completely different to his usual one. It sounded exactly like Drak's voice.

As if a shock ran through its body, the dragon flapped its wings and flew towards Tom at fast speeds. Yet the latter simply stood there with a stone-cold face.

Under the stupefied gaze of everyone present, the Dragon that was about to collide with Tom stopped a meter from him and bowed its head to their shock.

Tom didn't even react and simply stepped on its head and made his way to the centre of its back.

"WHAT!" Jenna shouted from her seat. she was utterly shocked. Everyone was. This was something none of them had ever seen before in their lives. Something they hadn't even heard of. Nor was it written anywhere.

And that voice that came out of Tom's mouth sent shivers down their spine. It was like he was possessed. A sense of oppression could be felt even through the barrier, almost forcing them to their knees. But there was a deep trace of death and chaos coming from him as well.

Fred's eyes widened to the utter limit. His eyes were quivering in their sockets.

And a faint mumble came from his mouth like a deranged person. Words that even he couldn't believe.

"Dragon of chaos and destruction. Dragon of light and prosperity... In the same person.

… Pendragon"

His own words sent him into a state beyond shock. His family was deeply aware of the things going on in this world. They had records dating all the ways to the dark ages. When they were given a special ability thanks to their perceived god. The true dragon that released magic into this world. His family worshipped it as an ultimate being. They were also aware of the dragon of light and equally worshipped it.

And he was now seeing a human being with the power of both dragons. He knew of the family that tamed these gods, they were long forgotten to the masses, but the truly strong families never did. Some had impure thoughts, of acquiring this power. Others searched for them in order to befriend them.

But nobody ever found where they truly hid.

Fred stared at Tom's stone-cold face as his white and black eyes came into view, a black and golden white aura was swirling around him.

Unbeknownst to him, Tom had inadvertently revealed his identity to someone he would have never guessed he would run into.

He was currently staring at the nine other beasts that were shocked by the sight of their comrade acting like a mount for their opponent.

He placed his hand on the back of the dragon and its skin turned black, its eyes purple and its flames completely black.

This was a skill Drak had just given him. It allowed him to give this dragon temporary boosted strength and some of his abilities.

He raised his stone spear forward.

"Inferno!" he commanded.

The dragon opened its giant jaws and amassed a massive amount of black fire before sending it shooting outwards towards the other beasts in a wave of destruction. Like a tsunami of fire.

FWOOOOOOSH!

But how could they just let that hit them? The basilisk, the earthworm and the spider burrowed deep underground.

The red bee flew into the sky along with the lethifold. The thunder wolf, mountain bear and ogre were the unlucky ones. They had nowhere to run and were engulfed in the flames that seemed to burn even the soul. Three sets of golden particles floated into the air after the wave of fire passed through.

The Basilisk suddenly burst out of the ground in front of the dragon and locked eyes with it. instantly, the Hungarian horntail that had been modified turned to stone and crumbled to dust instantly.

Tom, having lost his foothold suddenly began to fall. And yet, before he could even land, a massive sinkhole appeared alongside hundreds of serrated teeth moving in circles like saws. From behind him, a jade spider shot out of the ground and created a net of webs above his head. The bee and lethifold shot down from the air on the remaining openings to either side of him.

There was no escape.

But they had forgotten one simple fact.

Tom smiled "Not. Good. enough!"

And with a silent yet quick swirl he disappeared and reappeared out of the encirclement and on the opposite side of the field where the beasts had previously stood.

He landed on his feet with a quick skip and turned around to look at the rubble that was once his little experiment before shaking his head in disappointment, "such a pity."
