Murphy, whose worldview has been solidified by materialism, arrives in the materialistic world of magic and, unable to adapt to the world, decides to change it. And in order to travel to the end of magic, he must pool his resources, pull together talent, build an organization, fiddle with human nature, and become the mastermind behind it all. Murphy: "Technology for wizards, magic for muggles. All for the greatest good!" Aurora: "Nice words, abusing the three unforgivable spells, nibbling on big melons everywhere, violating the secrecy law, infiltrating the Ministry of Magic, and controlling the Ancient Spirit Pavilion, and you're still saying that you're not a black wizard?" Pit avoidance guide: 1, the beginning of the bitter fight workers, grumpy and irritable. 2, the early part of the screwing money, big capitalist. 3, Hogwarts school part, the fourth volume only began. The willow wood wand was pulled back into Murphy's hand by some force.
So this was spellcasting without a wand.
But he had no time to marvel at this; Murphy waved his wand, "Repair to original!"
With a series of clicks, he felt his left side being twisted back into place amidst excruciating pain. Bones realigned, muscles reconnected, then he waved his wand again, "Bone Regrowth Potion, come! Dittany, come!"
A bottle of Bone Regrowth Potion with a broken seal and a half-smashed vial of Dittany, still containing some essence, flew from nowhere into his hands.
He quickly applied them to his wounds.
The Bone Regrowth Potion rapidly healed his bones, and the enhanced Dittany, further purified by the White Medicine Research Center, worked wonders. Within seconds, after an unbearable itchiness, his wounds were healed.
Murphy sighed in relief.
But why were these potions broken? He didn't ponder much over it, as they were still usable. He got up to check on Serika.
Apart from some scrapes, the girl had no serious external injuries. However, the black mark on her chest had spread to her neck. Pulling back her clothes, he saw her chest area was entirely black.
The symptoms were worsening?
But why so suddenly? He quickly realized it might be due to his Illusory Movement. His initial teleportation destination was outside the village. Although the village's magic intercepted it, it might have triggered the curse inside her, causing the plague bacteria to spread rapidly.
Murphy took out a syringe and injected it into Serika's chest, hoping it would alleviate her condition.
Suddenly, space in front of him distorted, and Joachim's ghost emerged, still clutching the wand.
"Shadowless Blade!" The spell passed through the ghost, useless.
"Fall Unconscious!" Still useless.
"Disarm Your Weapon!"
This time the ghost reacted, waving its wand to block the spell.
Then it counterattacked with "Sandstorm".
It seemed to favor this spell.
Murphy blocked it with an armor spell, already planning a retreat.
This was a no-win situation; the opponent was immune to damage, standing on invincible ground.
He grabbed Serika and performed Illusory Movement again, hiding in a civilian house he had passed by earlier.
After laying Serika on the ground, Murphy splashed water on her face, and after some effort, she finally woke up.
Serika felt extremely weak, her chest heavy, breathing difficult, her body aching, and her face wet, "Am I going to die?"
"You won't die."
"White Medicine, come!"
A bottle of White Medicine spray flew from the briefcase into Murphy's hand, but the bottle was also broken, half of its contents gone.
Huh? Murphy looked at his briefcase in astonishment.
"Can't be."
He crawled into his briefcase and found a mess inside.
Magic potion racks overturned, experimental equipment smashed everywhere, weapons and ammunition scattered, with fragments of various devices mixed in. There seemed to have been explosions and fires; he saw some ash-covered instruction manuals.
His briefcase must have been thrown around during the turmoil.
Murphy's seamless expansion briefcase was not as advanced as Newt's. It couldn't become an independent space. When closed, the briefcase's magic could negate external forces like gravity and acceleration.
But when opened, external physical conditions affected its contents.
Meaning, when the briefcase rolled on the ground, it was as if all the equipment, potions, weapons, and explosives were tossed around in a warehouse-sized space...
It's no wonder they were smashed.
Fixing everything was impossible, but Murphy tried, "Repair to original!"
An astonishing scene unfolded before him. Countless fragments came together under a mysterious force, scattered items returned to their places, and after a moment, he had a tidier briefcase.
But most experimental equipment was still broken, the spilled magic potions weren't restored, and the charred corner and half-ash manuals proved that some things were beyond repair.
This was expected.
The entropy change caused by explosions, fires, and mixed solutions was much greater than mere broken glass, fallen racks, or displaced bullets and grenades.
According to Holton's theory of probability cost, restoring such phenomena would require a vast amount of magic.
It was beyond Murphy's current capacity, so the "magic net" conveniently ignored these requests.
Murphy was just relieved he had used C4 against the bird-beaked man; otherwise, the C4 might have detonated the grenades in the briefcase, making it impossible to salvage anything.
Frowning, Murphy checked the remaining items.
It didn't matter much about the rest, but if the equipment and solvents for creating T-cells to treat Serika were damaged, it would be troublesome.
However, after checking, he found the antibody magnetic beads used for T-cell activation and separation were missing. These microscopic beads had been scattered and not restored.
Without the beads, T-cell activation and sorting were impossible, and so was preparing the final product.
He climbed out of the briefcase, unsure how to break the news to Serika.
She understood his expression, "Can't you cure me?"
Murphy's original plan was to kill all zombies, then cure Serika of the plague, which would naturally lift her curse.
Then, break the magical barrier preventing creatures from leaving, and they could go home.
But with Serika's worsening condition and the remaining zombies, especially with Joachim's ghost interfering, it seemed unlikely.
The method of lifting the curse by fulfilling its conditions seemed unfeasible now.
Murphy pondered for a moment, "There's another way!"
"Find the spell for the Seed of the Mind, and alter your curse!"
Then, after breaking the magic barrier, they could take Serika out. Once in the outside world, a mere plague was not a significant problem.
Although the order of actions changed, strangely, their tasks remained essentially the same.
"But, what about that ghost? He won't let us do these things easily..."
Yes.
With a boss immune to both physical and magical attacks, stealing victory seemed far-fetched.
How could the magical world have such a bug-like entity? As a ghost, likely akin to an energy body, why could it use a wand and cast spells? Hmm? Wait a minute.
An energy body, yet able to use a wand and cast spells.
Why does this setup seem familiar?
