103 Possible ring wraiths

"I thought ghost were bound to one specific place barring special circumstances?" Nick asked confused. Helena rolled her eyes "The four house ghost of Hogwarts are part of that set of special circumstances , besides ghost can go anywhere they had been when they were alive freely." she said with a smirk. "Enough about me , lets talk about you. There has been oh so many rumors about you going around the school , how many are true?" she asked eagerly as she shifted in mid air to a different position. Nick shrugged "I don't listen to rumors so I have no clue." he said honestly.-

This back and forth conversation continued for a couple hours before Madam Pomfrey kicked both of them out of the infirmary since Nick had already recovered. Nick had calmed down thanks to Helena's company but this didn't mean he wasn't going to get back at Dumbledore for his actions. He knew exactly what would be perfect for this as well since it would strike the man where it hurt the most , his reputation. Nick went to his workshop with Helena following right along because as a ghost she has literally nothing better to do besides haunt him.-

Something interesting happened however while she was messing around trying to grab his tools as she actually picked one of them up. This caused but her and him to freeze in disbelief before she cackled like a madwoman and swung the tool she picked up around eagerly. This tool was the hammer Nick had gotten from the roulette. He realized it might be because of it's astral nature that Helena could wield it as it left her spiritual self not faze through it. This reminded nick an awful lot of the cursed beings that the Celebrimbor style rings could potentially create , ring wraiths.-

The ring wraiths previously created using the style were mortals given ghostly properties like not aging and being basically immortal. The biggest downside to the state however was the fact that ring wraiths were slaves to Sauron and could not be satisfied by food or drink. In theory there was nothing stopping Nick from making a ring that turned ghost like Helena into ring wraiths of a sort. Obviously there was no Sauron in this world to control and corrupt them but Nick doubted any ghost wouldn't give fealty willingly to him if he gave them physical forms again.-

Nicks eyes widened however as he had a most terrible idea that may or may not work , but if it did he would be untouchable. You see if he created a corrupting ring like Sauron's did for the ring wraiths he could "accidentally" let it slip what it does to ghost and then leave it for Voldemort "accidentally" take and use. While the guy might go on a bit of a rampage for a while eventually the rings influence will bring him to heel as Nicks slave. Most people may not deserve slavery but Voldemort was pretty much magical hitler so Nick didn't think anyone would really care.-

'Damnit! I forgot about the Horcrux's for a moment.' Nick cursed mentally as he realized that so long as the connection between Voldemort and his soul fragments existed the rings corruption would be cleansed before it could take hold. 'Well that plan was shot down immediately , still an elite group of ring wraiths would be useful.' Nick thought seriously. "Could you come here for a moment , I want to test something." he said and Helena stopped swinging around the hammer like a lunatic but refused to drop the thing.-

Still she floated over and Nick locked the door to the workshop which confused her. "What you are about to see and maybe experience does not leave this room." Nick said very seriously and while confused about the secrecy she agreed. Nick began to channel his spiritual energy into his arms and the room lit up with a white glow. Nick then reached out and grabbed Helena's hand with his glowing hand. She shivered on contact like a chill suddenly went past her as she for the first time in over a thousand years felt the warmth of someone else's touch.-

She dropped the hammer and grabbed hold of Nick's glowing hand with an excited and curious expression with both hands. "How are you doing this!?" she exclaimed eager to know more. "Once again this does not leave this room under any circumstances." Nick made sure she understood the seriousness of this. Helena had a serious expression as she swore it with an unbreakable oath much to Nick's surprise. "Well that simplifies things a bit ."Nick said before explaining how he enchanted stuff by channeling his spiritual energy into the rings and that this test was to see if he could physically touch a ghost using the same method.
