Chapter 101: The vampire decision

Back at the castle entrance, the Aurors, McGonagall, and Luna all watched in awe the battle against the giants.

"I can believe what I just saw," One of the Aurors said.

"That was so brutal…" Another one said.

"Jeez, it makes me feel bad for the giants," Tonks said.

"Don't be so naive, Tonks. Have you forgotten what those giants came here to do?" Amalia asked, looking fierce.

Tonks's blood ran cold for a moment at the thought of what those giants would have done with the people inside if they had managed to enter the castle.

None of the Aurors said a word after that.

McGonagall looked at Luna.

"Miss Lovegood, are you sure, you don't want to enter the castle? This is no spectacle for a young girl."

Luna keeps looking at the battlefield, trying not to show a change in her expression.

"Im fine, proffesor."

A lot of things were happening that day. Not too long ago, She had also killed a man.

'I'll have to deal with my feelings tomorrow. Today I need to be here and watch Harry fight.' She thought.

—--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Harry used his levitation to fly over the army of giants and landed in front of a big group of vampires.

None of them seem to be ready to fight. At the front, there was a well-dressed man with long blonde hair, blue eyes, and a thick beard.

The moment Harry landed, the man approached with his arms extended wide and his palms wide open, as a show of non-aggression.

"Great one." The man greeted and then proceeded to do a light bow.

"My name is Mordred di Raziel. I am the lord of these vampires you see behind me. I came here to fight for that man with the promise of lands and a castle."

"And? why aren't you fighting?" Harry asked with an impassive expression.

"Great one, I beg for forgiveness. Had I known this was your territory I would have never dared to come to this place. How can I earn your mercy?"

'What do I do?... I don't want to kill someone who has already surrendered. But if I just let them go like that, It would be seen as a sign of weakness.' Harry pondered.

Then looked at Mordred directly.

"Fine, cut one of your arms, swear on your true name to never set foot in these lands again. Then, You and your cabal can go in peace."

His second in command and most of the other vampires seem enraged at the demand.

"That's too much!, this is lord M-"

The loud sound of flesh being cut managed to silence the vampire. Everyone's attention went to Mordred, who was now, using his right hand to stop the blood flowing from the stump left where his left arm once was.

"I, Mordred di Raziel swear on my true name to never set foot on these lands again for all eternity."

They were all shocked that their Lord did not hesitate for a second to give in to the demands of that person. Even after seeing what Harry had done to the giants, not all of the vampires thought that it was a lost cause to fight the human. But they trust their leader's decision and no one said a word anymore.

Mordred left immediately and his cabal follow him.

Harry looked at the vampire's leave and nodded, satisfied. What He had asked of the vampire Lord may have seemed excessive, but He knew that vampires had several ways to regrow their limbs if necessary. He had only put that condition as a show of submission.

The harsh condition was actually the second one. An oath swore on the vampire's true name is equivalent to an unbreakable oath for a wizard. If Mordred ever comes back to these lands, He will die immediately.

'I better make sure, no one else can leave.' Harry thought.

While walking towards his next target, He also started to weave a complex anti-apparition ward.

He did not have that much knowledge about wards, however, Dumbledore did. And thanks to those memories, Harry can now be considered almost a master curse breaker.

—--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I can't believe those vampires!, they just ran away like cowards," Jugson exclaimed.

Gibbon looked around, their army was getting quite small. They already lost the trolls, the giants, and now the vampires. All they have left was a dozen werewolves that came with Fernir and around a hundred wizards, but most of them were foreigners dark wizards who came here for the promise of riches. There were actually only nineteen death eaters left.

Gibbon then started to look in the direction the vampires left. The Dark forest was close by, if He started to run right after the fight started, no one will be able to stop him.

Suddenly a hand landed on Gibbon's shoulder.

"Don't even think about running away. Or I will kill You personally."

Gibbon turned around to look at the speaker with a very pale face.

"N-no , My Lord. O-of course, I-I would never run away. Promise"

He said, not looking very convincing.

Voldemort growled at him before turning his attention to Potter, who was now walking casually towards them like He was just having a casual walk through the fields.

He then looked at what was left of his army. He did not need to use occlumency to know that most of them were thinking of running away.

"Listen to me, you fools!." Voldemort yelled and they all turned their attention to him.

"Yes, He is more powerful than I thought. BUT, He is no God, but just a mortal human being. Hit him with a Killing curse and He will drop dead like anyone else, I can guarantee You that. And then…this country will be OURS!"

This seems to make most of the wizards regain their vigor once more.

"YEAH!" They started yelling.

"THE LORD IS RIGHT!"

"WE CAN DO THIS!"

"IS JUST A BOY!"

"LETS GOOO!"

The wizards held their wands firm and started to approach Harry.

The werewolves transformed and started to growl loudly.

"Well then, let's start the final round." Harry smiled at the approaching army.

The werewolves were trying to ambush him from both sides, leaving the front open for the wizards to throw spells at Him.

Harry enhanced his body, but this time He felt no pain at all. He felt a lot stronger now.

He started to dodge the fist-killing curses while waiting for the werewolves to get closer.

As soon as they tried a pincer attack, by charging at him from both sides, Harry made his move.
