"What? Professor Dumbledore will be killed."

"I will choose your son as a spy and betrayer."

Unknown to them, most of the Wizards chose Crouch Jr as a spy because of his father position. They didn't choose Malfoy and Black because their allegiance to the Dark Lord was noticeable. Meanwhile, they didn't believe a genius like Snape would follow Voldemort.

MARAUDER AND GRYFFINDOR POV

"I bet Snape was a spy, and he is the one who will kill Professor Dumbledore," said James Potter angrily.

"James, just because of your hatred and jealousy, don't destroy your chance to win the reward."

"Think, this reward is quite good. Not every magician knows healing magic like Madam Pomfrey, so don't destroy your chance to win this."

"I still believe Snape is the real traitor that will kill Dumbledore", murmurs James Potter.

"Shut up, i know you hate him because Lily is close to him. Let us have a discussion before choosing an answer", shouted Alice Fortescue.

After that little incident, the Gryffindor side also thought it was Crouch Jr however, once again, James Potter interrupted them.

"Guys, think carefully before choosing your answer. Even though I hate Snivellus, he is a genius in potion and has managed to invent many useful potion. Do you think someone like him won't be recruited and become a death eater?"

"That madman will probably choose him, his friend is a mulciber who likes to mock muggleborn as a mudblood. Because of his friendship with Mulciber, Snivellus also mocked Lily as a mudblood, so I think Snape is the real traitor", retorted James.

"But James, do you believe he will become a good spy? What we talk about is a spy, not a normal death eater."

"He will, remember, he is Slytherin, the cunning house. Meanwhile, Crouch Jr is a Ravenclaw, so I think Snivellus will become a good spy." Then they all decided to choose Snape as a spy.

"I wanted to choose Crouch Jr but my tinge sense told me he was not a spy." Suddenly, the professor heard James talk about Snape potential to become a spy.

"I think that is a credible statement, and also, Snape is a genius, so most likely he will become a spy."

"I think Crouch Jr was added just to confuse us, in reality he will follow his father footstep"

"Ok, let's choose Snape as a spy, hopefully our theory is correct."

"Snape, for the greater good, I will choose you."
