City of Light, Paris

Austria, Nurmengard Castle

In the morning

Alexander and Grindelwald had breakfast on a fruit and vegetable base with calm and elegance. After a year of living with Grindelwald, Alexander got used to eating vegetarian food and did not find it bad, as he seemed healthier than before.

"Lesas, it's time for you to get a wand." Breaking the peaceful silence, Grindelwald spoke looking Alexander in the face with a satisfied smile. He felt that all the hard work he did to teach Alexander etiquette was well spent seeing, the grandson being so elegant.

"No one will sell a wand to a nine-year-old boy, professor," said Alexander wiping the corners of his mouth with his napkin as he stared at his grandfather helplessly. He also wanted a wand, but no one will sell it to him, because he is only nine years old.

"Don't worry about it, you'll go to Paris to meet Nicolas Flamel the alchemist, and he'll make your wand. If Flamel refuses to make the wand, show him that letter." Grindelwald spoke by delivering to Alexander a black envelope containing a letter inside.

"Paris"? How and that I'll get to Paris!" Alexander spoke to Grindelwald with a perplexed look on his face.

"My personal carriage is ready to leave at any moment," Grindelwald spoke looking at Alexander with a look of superiority as if he had foreseen all his words.

"Since everything is ready I'll go to Paris immediately, I want to hold a wand in my hand as fast as possible," Alexander spoke to Grindelwald as he got up from his chair and turned to leave the dining room.

"Dress appropriately, after all, you are my grandson and a noble Wizard." Those were the words Alexander heard before he went into his room.

Upon reaching his room, Alexander went straight to the wardrobe and opened it showing several Muggle or wizard suits.

Analyzing the suits for a while Alexander chose a black suit with a white bottom shirt that fit his body perfectly. He then decided that this would be his look and started wearing the suit.

Feeling satisfied with his reflection in the mirror, Alexander turned to the wardrobe and took a pair of black gloves and a gold pocket watch with the symbol of a dove carved on the sides of the watch.

Seeing that he looked like a beautiful, elegant boy from a noble family, Alexander smiled and turned around and left his room. He went towards one of the exits of Nurmengard Castle.

Opening the castle entrance doors, Alexander saw standing in front of the door, a black elegant carriage with a black flag drawn in the middle a white dove. The chariot was pulled by four skeletal winged horses that had wings on their backs giving a very dark and evil look to the Thestrals.

Alexander seeing the four-winged horses pulling the chariot showed a smile and began to smooth the bodies of the four Thestrals with calm and gentleness.

The Thestrals Unlike their frightening appearances, they are docile and friendly to everyone who treats them well. They are invisible to most people as they can only be seen by those who have witnessed death in person.

"Thestrals loyal and compromising animals, but unfortunately discriminated against by appearance. Alexander, you won't need a coachman, these Thestrals know how to fly themselves. You just tell the city you will, and they will fly to it." Grindelwald appeared beside the Thestrals and put a red raw meat in the mouth of each of the winged horses. He spoke to Alexander with a calm smile on his face.

"In the envelope is a card. That card will point to where the alchemist's house is." Grindelwald spoke calmly as he disappeared from the front of the castle leaving Alexander alone.

"Ciri..." seeing that Grindelwald had returned to Nurmengard Castle, Alexander whispered and a mass of black flames clustered on his head and a blackbird emanating elegance and nobility landed on Alexander's shoulders.

"Testrálios, let's go to the city of light, Paris," Alexander spoke to the Testrálios as he opened the door of the carriage and entered with Ciri on his shoulders.

Hearing Alexander's orders, the four winged horses spread their large bat wings and started running at high speeds.

As they reached the end of the cliff, the Testrálios jumped high and began to fly towards the sky with the Grindelwald family flag waving in the wind.

In the sky

Gazing upon the sea of white clouds like cotton, Alexander sighed for the greatness of the world as he softly smoothed the warm, soft feathers of Ciri who was lying on his lap enjoying the touch of his partner.

After half an hour watching the same scene, Alexander began to feel sleepy and closed his eyes to rest until he arrived in Paris.

The trip lasted over seven hours flying at full speed. When Alexander arrived in Paris it was already night and the whole city was lit up showing the beauty of Paris.

One thing Alexander didn't count on was that the chariot's flag caught the attention of the French Ministry of Magic right at the entrance to the city.

Then news of a mysterious carriage carrying the Grindelwald family coat of arms ran through every city in minutes, wizards and witches commented on the incident in bars and residence. Soon a feeling of fear and despair flooded the hearts of some older wizards, they remembered the giant dragons of blue flame deeds flying over the cemetery in Paris. The fear of that scene will never leave their minds.

The culprit of all this discussion had just woken up and looked out the window watching the beautiful city of Light with all the glory with a beautiful smile on his rosy lips.

Alexander, remembering Grindelwald's words, opened the black envelope and saw a letter and a card with a golden arrow constantly pointing south.

He then began to tell the instructions to the Testrálios who flew in the direction he pointed.

After five minutes, they loaded it to their destination and Alexander got down from the carriage with Ciri leaning on his shoulder and looked at the simple brick house in front of him with interest.

After all, for him, a legendary alchemist like Nicolas Flamel should have a European-style mansion full of elegance and luxury, not a small house like this.
