The Room of Requirements

"Gazlow, Do you know who made the Room of Requirements?" I asked Gazlow after meeting him outside.

"Yes Master, It has been passed down from head elf to head elf that Rowena Ravenclaw is the one who made the room of requirements."

"Does Helga Hufflepuff made also a special room like Salazar and Rowena?"

"Yes master, she made the cold storage down the kitchen herself."

"And what about Godric?"

"He did not make any room in the castle. It was made in the dark forest. We elves help them to build their rooms."

"Are you allowed to tell me this?"

"Of course master, you are the landlord of this area, but we do not tell anyone else besides the four founders and you, the new heir of the land."

"Do you know the secrets of the rooms?"

"Unfortunately no. Our elves ancestor help build the structure only the magic within was made by the individual four founders."

"Do you know the entrance at least?"

"Yes, Master but we elves can not enter."

So the house-elves did help the founding four build their rooms. Now back to the room of requirements. What are its limits? Shall I try...

'I need a room filled with potions materials to create potion'. I did the

requirements to activate it, and it did.

I enter the room, potion-making tables, cauldrons, bottles, flask, glass tubes, shelves what I think as the potion materials shelves, but I do see many have rotten or materials turned into ashes. So there are no fresh materials. Hmm, I wonder. I think of a shelf filled with the concocted potion.

Lo and behold it appeared, I will experiment more. I need a room for storing potion materials. I need a room filled with all the books available. I need a door to go outside Hogwarts. I need a room filled with magical weapons.

Wow, the sheer number of items that can be found here is staggering. I tried to put them in my mini world and it did work for some. Other like some books can not be transported, my theory is that it's only a copy from the library.

Well, this room of requirements does give you requirements to the best of Hogwarts capability. Things that are lost are transferred by the castle itself. While other things like books and some furniture are replicated and the last are castle made like the repairable duel dummy.

Paths towards outside Hogwarts like the tunnel that leads to a bar where Alberfort resides. And some paths towards outside the castle but not outside its ground are plenty.

It can not produce away to the chamber of secrets or the Helga Hufflepuff's room. The Galleons though, that I collected may amount to tens of thousands. Well, most of it is sickles and knuts.

The room does not have any usefulness for me now. all I want to do I can do it in my world. So, why bother going there again.

So for my last stop, this evening is the room made by Helga Hufflepuff.

"Gazlow, bring me to the entrance of Helga's room," I ordered him to apparate me in the cold storage room.

Wearing my pajamas does not bother me when the cold bites my skin. Training in Tibet gave me the advantage. My body can adapt quickly. In here the coldness might be below zero. I'm not sure but the meat that is preserved here is as hard as a rock.

Gazlow guide me to a wall down in the furthest part away from the entrance. There I saw a wall with some kind of a half-circle table ornament that was embedded in the wall. I approach it and look for clues. The half-circle tabletop has markings on top.

The school's logo is carved in the stone, which the table was made of, but the logo on the Hufflepuff was replaced by a small circle. Maybe her cup is the key. I need to acquire that cup from the goblins. I will send a letter tomorrow morning.

I decided to cut short my wandering in the castle and have a rest. Gazlow apparate me to the manor.

Reaching the manor I went inside my mini-world as I assess my haul of the day. Quite a hefty sum. Looks like my first priorities are done so I decided to enjoy life as a student this following days.

[Moriah lets roam around] I called my familiar. She transformed to her original huge body and I rode on her back. She is always cheerful when we fly together.

As we roam around I notice that my mini world expanded greatly, about 50%. Must be the evolution. The forest, the mountain the two lakes, the dessert expanded their territory. I do think I need to renovate my small house here.

Flora and fauna are flourishing well. Thanks to the care of the two house elf and the two mermaids. Ra has gotten bigger again. I wonder if I summon him to the door entrance of the Ravenclaw tower for him to have try at the riddles the door gave. Hmmmm maybe on Christmas vacation.

One last look and we went back to my room in my manor. Now that Moriah can transform her size she do like to sleep beside me in my bed. It does not bother me much but I warned her I might kicked or rolled over her. I am on constant position changer when I sleep so I suggest to her to sleep in the furthest corner near my head.

Tonight I sleep thinking that this world should be fun and I will enjoy this while I am young.
