Phase two

During the night I wrote a letter to Idun telling him to start the plan to make an empire.

This plan is to start a company that will employ all the muggle-born wizards that have capabilities but don't have decent words due to the pureblood sickness that the European wizarding community is still practising from past until now.

Robert and Idun did investigate and made a list of whom to employ. I told them to specifically employ those that came from muggle families so that they can prove their worth to the wizarding community.

The company that they will start will cover almost anything under the sun. From clothing to news, potions to magical products, books to household items, food to farming, even buy and sell. I plan to take over the wizarding business and gain some political power.

I am going to train a secret private army while I'm at it. thousands upon thousands of unemployed wizards have been roaming around, especially in Europe, some even went back to the muggle world just to make a living.

That is a sad fact, no wonder Grindelwald tried to conquer the wizarding world and rule over muggles. His own kind living like beggars on the street.

Shade was waiting in my room in the Ravenclaw tower to deliver the message. I called him earlier, he seems to be excited to be able to deliver mail once again. This letter is for Robert, while I will directly call Idun using my communication crystal.

[Idun start the company. Also, update me about Harry and Sirius.]

I told Idun as he pick up my call.

[Young master. Harry is still in the department of magical law enforcement jurisdiction but there is some agreement that has been made between Dumbledore and the ministry. I heard that they will not press any charge against Dumbledore for negligence. About Sirius Black, we have a hard time looking for Him. We do think he is still hunting the whereabouts of the rat. I will update you when we have more.]

[Nice work, okay keep me updated. and oh do tell Mr Moody about the dead who is alive. it is time to make our second wave of ruckus.]

Monday has come, after doing my morning routine I took a shower and dress off for the first day of classes here in Hogwarts. Our first subject, charms.

Professor Flitwick, our house head, will be the teacher. all of us first years, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff will join the class.

We gathered on time in the classroom, the professor was already there waiting for the time to start the class.

"Good morning children, today will be the first official day you will learn magic at Hogwarts. I am Professor Filius Flitwick and we are going to tackle charms." Intro of the professor as he starts on time.

"Now we are going to try and cast the most basic spell, that is Lumos. Now repeat the spell after me. Lumos!"

"Lumos." we all said.

"Now wand at the ready. Repeat my wand motion and flick like this." the professor instructed as he flick his wand.

All the student imitates the professor's wand movements.

"Remember only flick once and chant as you flick. Ready, go."

"Lumos" all the students chanted while flicking their wands. Some did succeed, some only gave a little glow and others just flick their wand.

Most of the Ravenclaw students succeeded, some did light the tip of their wand, none did fail. Professor did smile looking at his house proudly.

"Okay for those that did not succeed, do try again but this time think like you are in a dark room and you need a light and make your wand produce light."

The other students that failed in the previous casting closed their eyes and try again. Some are successful, while others did make their wand glow. very few failed again.

So the class went on like this for a few hours trying basic spells including the 'winguardium leviosa' thing. Now, this is my time to be a great Ravenclaw.

I raise my hand to ask a question. When professor Flitwick nodded to me I ask. "Professor being the head of the house of Ravenclaws, you know more than anyone that we seek knowledge and tend to be curious all the time. May I ask a personal question about magic to indulge my curiosity?"

"Hmm, very well the class was about to end anyway. Go ahead Mr Ophias."

"Why do we use wands when we can use magic without wands?"

"Are you referring to wandless magic Mr Ophias?"

"No professor, I'm referring to accidental magic. Everybody in this room experiences it once or twice or even more during our childhood when we first tap into our magic core. Then why are we practising magic with a wand when we can do wandless magic since childhood?"

"That was an excellent question, Do you have an idea Mr Ophias?"

"I do have a theory, I think that children needed a wand to be used as a conductor for magic. What I do not understand is why the school don't teach wandless magic to the students?"

I cast a levitation charm on the feather in front of me using my hand, also without a chant, and it floats in front of my face.

"This is all I can do when I first did my accidental magic things float around me. I tried to replicate that feeling a few years back and practice it. I can lift a heavy object like a person but that will strain me greatly."

I heard a gasp and wow in the crowd. The professor widens his eyes under those small glasses that he is wearing.

"This is a levitation charm isn't it professor?"

"What a wonderful display of chantless and wandless magic. 5 points for Ravenclaw. Unfortunately my dear students not all can tap their magic core without a wand or a chant for that matter. Some wizards are more sensitive to magic. They are very gifted, seems like you are one of those Mr Ophias. Can you do more spells different from the one you showed?"

Then I cast Lumos on my hand. It was like there is a flashlight in my palm. "This is all that I can do for now professor."

"Very impressive for your age Mr Ophias. In due time Wizard does get accustomed to magic the more they grow and mature in magic that we tend to memorize the spell with our body and then we can cast our very own chantless and wandless magic. Like this"

Flitwick moves his hand forward pointing at the feather hovering in front of me and burst into flames. Hmm, show off, hahaha.

Smiling for doing an impressive job Flitwick then tap his wand on the pulpit he is using to gather attention. "Now, I suggest that don't try that for now and focus on mastering the basic spells first using the proper method. Accidents happen when we do not follow procedures that is why we called it accidental magic. Ok our time is up see you next week and practice all the basic spells we have tackled and next week we will have an individual assessment of casting basic spells."

The class ended. The trio came up to me.

"You didn't tell me your good at magic" Laura excitedly said

"Seems your not all academics like I thought," Marietta said with a little prideful tone.

Cho just smiles and look at me with that eyes that are like smiling.

"Let us go to the great hall to eat our lunch and rest after that. We will have another class this afternoon."
