24 chapter 24 : Back in the game

More than two months have passed since Ron's coma began and right now, in the room where he was lying, Harry and Cedric were sitting together discussing something quite important, the trial that would be brought against them because the ministry accused them of repeating false rumors about the return of Voldemort while ignoring even the death of Cedric.

Ginny and Hermione were sitting together, Hermione had not stopped comforting Ginny who wanted to see her brother wake up and while they were talking, Neville arrived with sandwiches for everyone made by Molly.

He also hadn't returned home and wanted to stay with Ginny for Ron.

On the bed where Ron was, Luna was sitting so that Ron's head was resting on her thighs and she was humming a song while cutting Ron's nails, the girl had had another growth spurt.

Neville approached her and handed her his sandwich but she gave him a smile before shaking her head impassively.

Hermione: Luna you have to eat, you no longer eat regularly and you have lost weight. How will he react to seeing you like that if he wakes up?

Harry: She's right, we're all worried about Ron and haven't left his side since day one just like you. He wouldn't want you to hurt yourself Luna.

Luna: I'm fine, I've already eaten and he's lost weight too.

Hermione: It's not the same, he's unconscious but you're just hurting yourself.

Luna:…

Hermione: You're not the only one to worry about him, I too...I'm worried too. I've been here for almost three months and not once have I wanted to leave but I know he wouldn't want us to hurt for him. Luna, you know him much better than all of us here combined.

Luna:…

As silence reigned in the room, Ron who was sleeping on his back suddenly rolled over into a normal side position like someone who changed position while sleeping.

Others :…

"Some people are trying to sleep, please get out of my room…" He whispered complainingly.

He suddenly felt drops of hot water falling on his face and as he definitely opened his eyes to complain, he saw Luna's face above his as tears fell from the girl's eyes .

Harry: Ron...

Neville: Yes…well…

 « RON!! » Ginny ran up to him and hugged him.

Hermione: You finally woke up...

Cedric:…

"Excuse me, but who are you? Why are you in my room?!" He asked confusedly as their hearts skipped a beat, Ron looked like he had forgotten about them.

Harry: You don't remember...?

Ron: Remember what? Wait…who am I? I don't recognize this place...

Hermione: He doesn't remember anything anymore...

Ginny started crying like Luna who had her face completely wet with tears.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAH, You should see your faces! Who did you take me for? Of course I remember-(interrupted)" he interrupted his joke but Ginny directly grabbed the newspaper from Luna and started punching Ron across the face.

Ginny: IDIOT (knocks)! You're just an idiot (hit, hit again)…

"Ouch, Ginny! Ouch! okay, I understand, stop. I'm sick here...okay, I'm sorry!" He begged for her to stop and Neville came to restrain her and even Lucius slapped him across the face.

Hermione: You deserved it!

Harry: You have no idea how worried we were.

Ron: Sorry y'all, I couldn't resist the temptation! How long have I been sleeping?

Neville: Almost three months.

"Best nap of my life..." He said with a proud look and Neville had to hold back Ginny who wanted to come back and attack him again.

He looked at Luna who didn't say anything but was just crying.

Ron: I'm so sorry, sweetheart...

Luna: (shakes her head) I'm not mad, I'm just happy that you can be awake...

Ron: Did I make you lose weight like that?

Luna:…

Ron: I'll never do that to you again...

Luna: You have to promise...

Ron: On my life I promise you. I love you Luna. 

Luna: You made me wait a long time here. I love you too, I love you so much... 

"It was a first for me, I had to do my hair and do lots of other things…" he repeated the girl's line on the night of the ball and she started laughing while trying to cry .

Harry: How are you feeling?

Ron: Physically? Weak. Yet, I can feel that my magic is much, much stronger than before. I feel connected to magic itself and it's like my mind is in a nice bath of warm water. And when I say my magic is stronger, it's really not a joke.

Hermione: And you were already very strong before.

Ron: Yeah. By the way, it's cool they let me sleep totally naked under this duvet. Quite nice!

Luna immediately jumped out of bed and Hermione froze.

Ginny: It's mom's doing, she said it would be more convenient for cleaning your-(interrupted)

Ron: FOR THE SAKE OF GOD, GINEVRA MOLLY WEASLEY DON'T SAY ANYTHING!

Hermione: (to Ginny) DID YOU KNOW?!!

Ginny: I thought you did too!

"That's good, mom…" he said, touching the duvet with his hand and she hugged his body before gradually transforming into a black and red Delhi frock coat set under the amazed eyes of the others.

Ron: What are you looking at like that? You have to take transfiguration lessons with McGonagall and what's more, I told you, my powers are much greater than before.

He said taunting them before trying to get off the bed but he couldn't even take two steps before falling down to lean on a wall.

Harry: Ron!!

Luna: You're still too weak.

Ron: Yes, my body took a big hit. However, I rested quite well like that. Where are Dumbledore and my parents?

Neville: When I brought the sandwiches back earlier, they were organizing a meeting in Professor Dumbledore's office with other wizards I had never seen.

"Great, let's go get a hug from my mom and a lecture from my dad…you're all coming with me" he said as he grabbed one of the unlit standing torches and it became a beautiful silver cane with a beautiful eagle head to lean on it and start walking barefoot.

Cédric: Ron, could I speak to you in private?

"Please wait for us outsider We won't be long..." he asked kindly to the others who came out and while Cedric wanted to speak, Ron took the lead.

Ron: If it's to give me a dark and guilty speech to express your gratitude, there's no point and I don't need that. Cédric, you may be three years older than me but you are also my friend, if I had to do it again then I would do it without even thinking because it was the right thing to do. (extends his hand) Your life is extremely valuable to me, my friend.

Cedric smiled widely before shaking Ron's hand with moist eyes.

 « Thank you Ron. » he said and they went out.

In Dumbledore's office, Dumbledore himself was there with the members of the Order of the Phoenix including Minerva McGonagall, Arthur and Molly Weasley, Kingsley Shaklebolt, Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, Sirius Black and Alastor Moody.

Everyone was talking about the troubles within the Ministry and the army that Voldemort was trying to assemble at the moment.

They needed strength on their side as well and the one who could make the difference was Ron.

Moody: What I'm just saying is that if Dumbledore is telling the truth about your son's power, we should try to convince him to join us.

Arthur: That's totally out of the question, I'm not going to risk the life of one of my children in this war.

Molly: My son is currently in a deep coma and you already take him for a soldier?! HE'S JUST A BOY!!

Sirius: A boy far more powerful than many of us! He managed to create a resurrection spell and he's not even 15 yet Molly.

Lupin: Molly, I know your son a young and I know he would like to help us. He did not hesitate to risk his own life for one of his friends, if I talk to him and present the issues to him, I am sure he will join us.

"So you don't know me well...Professor Lupin..." Ron said before opening the door and walking in with his cane while the others were behind him.

The Order of the Phoenix:…

Ron: I decided to create my own secret society of young wizards. I named it, "The super strong good guys"! Voldemort had better watch out.

Harry: What?!

 « RONALD! » Molly got up to run to her son and hug him as she felt her son's thin face while crying.

"My boy...my Ronald is up..." Arthur also got up to go towards his son.

He greeted his parents who hugged him and asked him to sit down while Molly quickly went to get some food.

Dumbledore: It's good to see you again, Mr. Weasley.

McGonagall: Yes, you gave me one of those scares...

Ron: I'm fine professor, very tired and hungry but I'm fine.

Lupin : I almost thought we were going to lose you...

Dumbledore: Ronald, you need to tell us where you got this spell and what the consequences are. The ministry is trying to get their hands on you...

Molly: HE'S JUST WAKE UP!

Ron: I developed this spell myself from the remains of ancient Egyptian tablets that I came across while on vacation with my family. The spell was not done but the tablets reported a better understanding of a possible resurrection spell and I created it after almost a year and 7 months. The spell, although it worked, was not complete when I used it and the price was great, colossal even.

The other children were intrigued by this and so were the adults as worry filled everyone's hearts as Molly returned with the food which he attacked without prompting.

Kingsley: What was the cost to you, my child? What did you give to bring your friend back to life.

Ron: Part of my soul and half of my life expectancy.

Molly, Luna and many others put their hands over their mouths in shock as the tears started to flow again and Cedric felt his heart hurt. The cost of bringing him back was far too great.

"But it doesn't matter, I know a way to fix it. There are several methods to extend lifespan in magic and I already have some plans." He said happily, taking large bites while abruptly interrupting the stress of the others.

"That child is a real headache…" Dumbledore said massaging his eyes after removing his glasses.

Nymphadora moved towards Ron and held out her hand. "My name is Tonks, thank you for helping my husband with your potion. I have a feeling you and I will get along great" she said happily and Ron shook her hand with a smile.

Ron: Wait, did you say "Husband"?

Lupin: Yes, it's me.

Ron: How could a beautiful woman like you end up with him?

Lupin: RONALD…!

The others laughed at his antics and Molly went to make him some more food while the others went to break the news to their friends staying with them at school.

A feast was going to be held this evening but several members of the order had to leave early out of caution, eyes were going to be on Hogwarts and they were not to be seen there.
