26 Chapter 26

The first thing I did when we made it back to the manor was head to my room. Erza and Julia wanted to try on dresses for the party, so I left them to it. I had other plans, mainly using my tickets then taking a nap. I wasn't physically tired but a bit worn out, and there was nothing wrong with a nap. I also wanted to be full of energy and be ready for the upcoming party because, in all honesty, I was rather excited. I'd watched so many fantasy anime and read so many fantasy novels where things like this happened, and now I was actually about to take part in one.

"Did you have fun?" Emma asked as I walked by her towards my room.

"I did," I replied with a smile. "Erza and I signed up for some of the lone competitions."

Emma smiled and sauntered up to me, placing a hand on my chest. "I bet, with these muscles and that face, you're bound to impress and best many, especially with that sword your carrying."

"What sword are you— Oh."

She giggled at my expression then trailed a hand to my crotch before turning and walking away, her hips swaying tantalizingly. I had no doubt she was doing it on purpose and my eyes lowered to watch that ass of hers as she walked off.

For a moment I considered going after her, but then reconsidered and continued to my room. I would have time for that later, for now, I needed to use my tickets, and get my new ally sorted out. I planned on using the tickets away from the manor, down the path that led up to it, where there were no guards. Once she was summoned then I would walk back with her, pretending as though I'd met her on the path.

First though, came the p-ticket. In terms of powers, there was a ton of possibilities that I could think of, and any of them would be amazing. I focused my mind on the ticket and thought about using it.

Unlike the last two times, there were no physical changes or sensations, but instead a wave of knowledge that flooded into my mind. Knowledge of how of fighting styles, the rokushiki techniques from soru, to tekkai, to shigan and more, but not just that. Ways on how to use them, and combine them with the martial arts of the rokushiki. My mind processes it all and when it settled it was as though it had always been there.

I was surprised I'd gotten another power from one piece, but also extremely happy. Not only had I gotten a fighting style that I'd lacked, but I had gotten the rokushiki, which was incredibly versatile, to say the least. It had power, speed, agility, defense. Everything a fighting style needed.

I needed to test it, and to my glee, it felt as natural as any other action to kick off the ground, and appear on the other side of the room in a flash. Soru was just on of the six rokushiki techniques, and it focus was speed. Soru granted a person the ability to move at extremely high speeds, allowing them to avoid normal attacks with ease, as well as to attack at higher speeds and with greater power. The principle of soru is to kick off the ground at least ten times in the blink of an eye.

"Now this is what I'm talking about."

I spent the next minutes flashing around the room, and although I wanted to test the other techniques, I wasn't about to use shigan in this room and I couldn't use tekkai since there was no one to hit me. With the Supa-Supa no mi I'd had a very useful and deadly ability, and with the super solder biology I'd had an overall boost, but I'd been lacking in skill. I hadn't been a fighter, but now with this, I was far more confident in my ability to stand alongside Erza.

I walked out of my room with a smile on my face as I headed out of the manor. A few of the servants stopped to inquire if I needed a carriage or any help, but I assured them I wasn't going too far.

I walked down the pathway, and before I had even gotten to the gate, it was already opening.

"Do you need an escort, sir?" One of the guards asked.

"I'm not going far, I'll be back in a few minutes," I replied as nonchalantly as I could. The guards asked again, but I insisted that I would be fine, and even made a show of my devil fruit ability which surprise them and calmed them down.

The sky was dim as the sun slowly lowered, and I knew that it would turn dark soon, so it was best if I got this done quickly so I could take a nap before getting ready for the party.

As I made my way down the path, I found myself thinking of just who I might get. If possible a healer would be immensely helpful or someone with a wide variety of powers like a magician. In any case, whatever I got would probably be a shock. I'd watched so much anime and played so many video games that the sheer variety of what I could get was insane.

Once I was at the end of the path that led up to the gated manor, I glanced around to make sure nobody was about as it would raise a lot of fo questions I was caught summoning a beautiful woman, questions that I did not want to answers.

Just like I'd done for the p-ticket, I focused on the h-tickets and a moment later there was a bright flash of light, though this time it didn't blind me, as my super-soldier body was not at fragile or weak as my former self had been. I eagerly waited and as the light faded, I felt my jaw drop.
