Burning Ice

JX and Shin walked forward and they spotted the enemy fast the Shikoku attackers jumped up but Shin used his Gravity ability on them and all three of them got forced to the ground Shin yawned and sat down as well

"You can go get the flag JX I'll hold these three to the floor I'll meet you there"

"Aight you can leave it up to me"

JX walked forward and while he was looking for where the flag might be another surprise attack was made on him

"Did you leave your friend just for our flag"

"No you sent your friends to a death trap me and Shin don't stand out much but we are one of the strongest in our group"

"Haha like I care Kaijo is nothing without Dr.Understand and would you look at that he isn't competing"

The guy dashed toward JX with his staff and struck JX face but JX moved his head and grabbed the staff

"Can you feel the weather is it about to snow or is just getting cold"

"What are you talking about its midsummer"

The guy's staff suddenly became frozen and it kept going onto his arms, JX stopped

"True but that doesn't mean it can't get cold"

He puts his hand to the guy's face

"Next question, tell me what burns more ice or fire"

"Uh, fire? What are you doing"

JX froze the guys face

"Wrong answer but don't worry you won't die but you'll be cold for quite a while"

JX walked forward till he saw the last two people guarding the flag he stood in front of them 

"Are you the only attacker they sent"

"No they sent two of us but sadly Shin is holding down the other three and one of them is probably in a frozen situation"

"GREAT FIREBALL"

The guy held a giant flame ball in the air and looked at JX

"Wanna run away now cus my flame burns"

"And? Ice over flames any day"

The guy tossed his fireball and Shin appeared and ran toward it

"ABSOLUTE ZERO"

The guy's fireball was now frozen

"He-?he froze fire?"

The flames shattered and Shin jumped in the air and opened a giant portal on the floor then opened one in the air the ice pieces went through the floor and came back up from the sky Shin also jumped through the portal on the floor and appeared in the sky

"FULL MEASUREMENT GRAVITY PRESS"

The ice suddenly fell faster to the ground with Shin's gravity he closed the portal that was on the floor and opened one in front of JX, JX walked through it and also appeared in the sky the ice at this point was raining and slamming into the floor the guy tried his hardest to burn the ice landing on him

"Ice hammer"

A giant hammer made of ice appeared in JX hand and he was gonna strike the Shikoku members left

"Please stop we give up you can have the flag"

While JX and Shin are free-falling a portal opens up below their legs and they appear safely on the ground 

"Walk over there pick up the flag and bring it to us"

"Sure ok sorry just don't hurt us"

They grabbed the flag and handed it to JX 

"Thank you"

Shin opened a portal and they appeared back at their side

"THE GREAT KAIJO REGION JUST SHOWED US WHY THEY'RE A FAN FAVORITE REGION TO WIN THAT LAST ATTACK WAS AMAZING BUT LET'S GET INTO THE LAST CAPTURE THE FLAG MATCH UP WHICH IS"

The guy checks the card

"It's all thanks to Understands teaching when I was overheating in the sweat room I came up with an idea instead of just keeping myself cold why don't I freeze the heat and make the whole thing ice I failed a lot but it eventually worked"

"Wow and you and Shin are such a good duo"

"Well we did grow up together so we know a lot about each others ability"

"Kaijo huh only two of them fought and they were super strong I wonder how the rest is"

"Calm down Flakes we have to get through our game first then we can fight Kanto and Kaijo"

"It Kyushu I can handle them alone"

"If you say so then we will all be defenders when the battle begins"

They talked and decided who would do what and then the commentator shouted go and Flakes dashed toward them"

"I can sense someone coming we didn't even get to move from our flags I guess we're all guarding it's just one person there underestimating us"

"Yea we got this"

"Huh his presence is gone I can't sense him anymore"

"What you mean you can't"

"I mean like he's not there anymore"

A hand comes from the floor and grabs the sensors leg and pulls him through the ground a tree appears where that guy was standing

"Where did our teammate go and where did that tree come from"

The trees branched grew and formed a fist and punched everyone Flakes came out the floor and walked toward the flag and someone grabbed his leg

"Stop don't touch our flag"

"You want more huh, finish him"

The fist from the tree started punching the guy while flakes grabbed the flag and walked back

"AND TAEJU WINS THAT WITH ONE MEMBER AS WELL THAT WAS PROBABLY THE FASTEST TIME SINCE THE NUMBER ONE RANKER WAS A STUDENT. EVERYONE CAN GO REST UP NOW TOMORROW WE HAVE ANOTHER EVENT AND EVERYONE WHO LOST TODAY WAS ELIMINATED"

"There's my students amazing work today Kaijo"

"Oh hey Dr.Understand where were you"

"I had to sit with the rankers tho I told them I didn't want to they still made me"

"Huh, all the rankers sat together?"

"No, just the top 5'

"I have something to tell you guys tho since the number 1 ranker has been gone for a while I have been assigned to go find out what happened to him I asked for this mission since we were students together I know him the best and I know he didn't die to that demon level mission"

"So you're leaving?"

"Yes, hopefully not long I'll be heading out tomorrow to the land of the missing and you guys will maybe have a new instructor" 

"Ok just come back safely"

"Will do and when I return you guys better have gotten way stronger"

"Don't worry we definitely will"

"Anyways I just wanted to say that before I left I'm gonna go get my stuff now and won't watch the rest of your matches good work by the way JX and Shin"

They both said thanks and Dr.Understand walked away that was the last they heard from him
