They went out of the shop and went to various other shops, where Lavalee managed to sales talk Jace into buying items.
"You won't buy anything?" she asked as they walked
Jace is carrying four shopping bags with shoeboxes inside on both arms while Lavalee is carrying a shopping bag containing four paper bags, which contained the items that Jace bought, on one arm and is holding the video camera with the other hand.
"Next would be for my aunts, uncles and then for my other siblings since I already have a gift for my younger brother." Lavalee narrated while facing the camera as they walked inside a famous clothing brand store
She bought two high-waist shorts, a white sleeveless crop top, a red long sleeved crop top, a hooded gray crop top, and a high-waist black ripped jeans fit for a teenager.
"Done, now for Icey and Wendy," Lavalee said as they exited the store
"Do you think Aunt Reese will like this?" Lav asked and showed a white dress to Jace
"I think so, Mom's not picky," Jace replied that Lav took it and put it in the cart
"You won't buy anything for Jean, or for Aunt Jenny?" Lavalee asked and looked at Jace
"Maybe later," Jace replied
"I think this one will look good on her." Lavalee said and picked up an emerald green dress
"You think?" Jace asked while keeping himself from smiling
"Yeah, from what I remember, Aunt Jenny and Aunt Reese have similar simple yet elegant taste so I think this one would look good on her." Lavalee said
"Alright then," Jace said so Lavalee put it in the cart
Jace continued to take video while they were inside the store, Lavalee also bought a dress for Jess, Zhyrene, Enyalius, Zia, and Astrid.
When they came out, Lavalee stopped videotaping and put the video cam inside Jace's bag.
They went to the jewelry section, Lavalee bought three pairs of pearl hair clips for Autumn, two diamond bracelets for Winter, and a flower hair clip for Summer, she bought a pair of diamond earrings for her aunt Abbigail and then she bought a gold necklace for his aunt Arizza.
At the bookstore, Lavalee bought a series of books that she knew Chelsea would like.
They first took the items they bought to the car and decided to eat at a nearby restaurant.
"I'll pay for our lunch." Said Jace
"No need," Lavalee said
"Lav, you paid for my things earlier." Jace said so Lav shook her head in surrender
"Fine," she replied
They ordered a California Maki, sushi, and Okinawa milk tea.
Lavalee turned the video camera on when their order arrived, she summarized what they did off cam and showed the food then paused it again and started eating.
After they finished eating and paying, they went out of the restaurant and Lavalee started recording again.
"You still have things to buy?" Jace asked Lavalee as he stopped filming their route
Lavalee looked at her list thinking who she forgot to give gifts to
"Nii-sama, Uncle Law, and uncle Cronus… then Ares and Irene… the Kitagawas… the Amanos… the Kirigayas… the Buenaventuras… the Valdemores… the Stones and our affiliates in Delcruss…" she said enumerating them as she raised her fingers
"I already shipped my gift to the Kitagawas, Amanos, Kirigayas, Buenaventuras and Valdemores yesterday so I only have to look for gifts to gif to Nii-sama, uncle Law, Uncle Cronus and our affiliates in Delcruss." Lavalee said and sighed before looking at Jace
"Help me pick gifts for Nii-sama." She said and they went to a watch store.
Lavalee bought two gold and platinum gold watches for her uncle Law and uncle Cronus, she went to the clothing department and bought a leather jacket, and silver chain belt for Irene then a tie for her older brother.
She bought a scarf for Chris, a fur coat and biker jacket for Ross, she went to a famous designer brand and requested a customized designed gown for Chiara, and Elisa.
Jace, on the other hand, bought a watch for his uncle and father, then a dress for his Mom, his aunt Jenny, and Jean.
After that they went to a Japanese martial arts store, Lavalee bought customized shuriken keychains and customized kunais for Alexandrine and Irene.
"That would be all." Lavalee said after putting all the paper bags in the car's compartment.
Jace stopped the video camera from filming and kept it in his bag again.
"I finished the shipping details with the gowns and my gifts for the Stones and our affiliates in Delcruss." She said and leaned on the closed the door
"Want to rest?" he asked Lavalee
"Still want to have a tour?" Lavalee asked and Jace shook his head
"Let's call it a day. We still have three more days," he said and they rode the car
Lavalee drove back the Mansion and the butlers helped Jace bring down the shopping bags from the compartment and bring it to Lavalee's room in that mansion.
Lavalee flopped down on her bed after the bodyguards left.
"Let me borrow your PC for a while." Jace said and sat in front of Lavalee's PC with the video camera in his hand
"Do what you want." Lavalee said and closed her eyes
Jace clicked the file from Autumn and it was the initial draft of their assignment.
He passed the video clips from the video camera to the PC and began creating the video using the built in application for movie and video making.
It was already noon when a maid knocked on the door and called them for dinner.
He tapped Lavalee's shoulder and the latter sat up, her eyes still groggy and reflecting her sleepiness.
"Dinner's ready. I finished the video already," Jace said and Lavalee nodded
"Okay, go ahead," Lavalee said and combed her hair with her hand before tying it up in a messy bun
Jace went out of Lavalee's room to his room and took a bath.
He cleaned his wound and changed the bandage then wore his clothes.
He met with Lavalee in the dining table and they ate in silence.
"So, tomorrow, we'll be joining them for Christmas dinner, right?" Lavalee asked and Jace nodded
"In the morning, we could spend time with the kids, us, girls would spend time and you could spend time with Fuego, that guy needs to spend time with someone else apart from Nii-sama." Lavalee said and shook her head at the mention of her older brother
"I'm up for it. What else is our plan for tomorrow?" Jace replied
"Hmm, we could bring Freia to the amusement park." Lavalee said and smiled
"You think she'll like it?" Jace asked and Lavalee nodded
"It would be Freia's first time, in case." Lavalee said and Jace nodded
"I'm going to wrap up the presents tonight." Lavalee informed him
"Want me to help?" Jace asked
"Yeah, sure," Lavalee replied
After they ate, they went to Lavalee's room.
They began wrapping up the presents with the wrappers and Lavalee was the one who tied the ribbon and wrote on the dedication cards.
They didn't remove the clothes from the paper bags but they removed the price tags and stapled it closed before stapling a ribbon and dedication card.
"This is tiring." Lavalee yawned
"You're doing this every year?" Jace asked her and Lavalee shook her head
"Nope, every year I would only be giving a gift to my siblings and our relatives, I do this kind of gift giving just this year, for gratitude, I guess." Lavalee replied and leaned on her bed
"You should go to sleep if you're already sleepy," Jace told her
"I'm not yet sleepy, Jace." Lavalee said and yawned, which made Jace shook his head
"Suit yourself." Jace said and took the gifts he bought for his dad, uncle, Mom, his aunt Jenny, and Jean.
"I'll just bring this to my room," Jace informed Lavalee who merely nodded with her droopy eyes
Jace went to his room and placed the gifts in his luggage, when he went back to Lavalee's room, he chuckled when he saw Lavalee sleeping.
He carried her to the bed and covered her with a blanket.
He can actually carry and his shoulder is all right but Lavalee being Lavalee wants to always be sure so she's doesn't allow him to carry heavy things and do rigorous activities, if you don't call shopping and going around the whole mall all day rigorous, that is.
Jace tidied up Lavalee's room because he thought that she'll freak out if she finds her room all messy.
