6 Her one in six

The day after the brunch in Florescent Park.

Isabelle was waiting for the news from her trusty bodyguards. When they returned, they reported that there were a total of six boys and three girls that had picked up their school uniforms from the uniform storm on the same day as the brunch party.

"Did you find out their names?" she asked.

One of the black-suits reported, "For legal reasons, we were unable to confirm their names, Ma'am."

"Ugh! Legal this, legal that! I hate the law!" she groaned.

Isabelle took a deep breath and exhaled, "Ha-ah, I guess I'll have to find my knight in shining armor the old fashion way… "

Isabelle decided to go to Biscord High's freshmen orientation. She wanted to find him. She was grateful for his help, and she was very much in love.

On the day of the orientation, she arrived at the front of the entrance a few minutes after Jack had strolled into the school. Thus, he didn't see her 'grand entrance.'

A white, and long limousine arrived at the school's entrance. Many of the students and faculty members turned their heads and gawked in awe.

Questions like, "Is that a celebrity?" Is there someone super wealthy coming to our school?" and "Which spoiled Fuerdai (rich second generation) goes to our school?" were whispered all around.

The door opened, and a pair of beautiful, white, and slim legs swung out. Isabelle wore a white one-piece spring dress, paired with white sandals with a bow. She got out of the limousine, with a pair of sunglasses on her face. As she began to take her steps into the school, her right hand was glimmering brightly in the sun. Isabelle wore the same large and beautiful 24-karat diamond sunflower-shaped ring on her right index finger. She must've been hoping that 'he' would at the least recognize this ring, if not her face.

A group of bodyguards appeared at her side and kept their distance.

The students and faculty around soon realized that it was the princess of the Royale Group, Isabelle Royale. Some of them went on with their business while others still kept their sights on her.

One new teacher at the school asked the assistant principal next to her, "Who is that?"

The assistant principal answered in surprise, "You don't know the Royale group?"

"The Royale group? Never heard of them… I'm from the countryside, you see. Can you explain? Hehehe, " the new teacher asked in embarrassment.

As if this was common knowledge, the assistant principal rolled her eyes and explained...

The Royale Group, one of the largest conglomerates in the world. Their prestige was plastered all over R city. No one would dare to say that they had never heard of the name.

Back in the early 1970s when R City was still just a small town, a middle-aged man named Edward Royale started his first business venture. He was a smart businessman who wasn't afraid of taking risks. Any "good" businessman had to have the galls to dive head first at any high yield investment and business venture. But we all know that any kind of success required a little bit of luck on your side, right? Edward Royale was one of the lucky ones. In fact, lady luck was practically in love with this man.

Aside from luck, he had a real knack for doing business. As a young boy, he delivered newspapers from door to door. After a while in the newspaper delivering business, he realized that the future was in recycling. Every morning during his delivery routes, he noticed that everyone just threw their old newspapers in the trash. So he pondered a very important question: can't we just reuse these old newspapers? The short answer was, yes. Fortunate for him, his best friend was a science enthusiast, so he consulted him. After countless trials and errors, the two derived a solution from household items that could easily erase the ink from the old newspapers and at the same time preserve its quality. So then, every morning on his delivery routes he asked his customers to leave their old newspapers for him to collect as he delivered them their new ones. He would bring these old newspapers to the news printing factories and sold it to them at very low prices. So low, that he sold large stacks that weighed approximately 1kg for 1 cent. For the factories, they were getting a huge discount on their paper supply, and for this young boy, it was the start of his goldmine. It was a fast money maker; a few pennies became nickels, nickels became quarters, and quarters became a full dollar. During that time, $1 was equivalent to $8.39 in 2018. You can see that he had already made a good amount of money in his early teens. Truly frightening. When he realized that this was a great business, he started hiring the local boys to collect old newspapers for a nickel a week per person. What a substantial amount for any young boy to make from collecting old newspapers and delivering new ones. His goldmine grew larger, and he expanded. Soon, he owned the largest newspaper delivery service in the whole state. After that, the whole country. In twenty years, he was already a millionaire; he was just 35 years old. His ambitions were so unfathomable that he wanted to expand and conquer the rest of the world. And the rest was history. He had a hand in every type of business. Continuing on and on, until he became the wealthiest man ever. And the rest was history. The world was quite literally his oyster.

Edward Royale returned to R Town after his years of success. He donated so much into the town that it forced the town to grow into a city. Within 15 years, we had multiple skyscrapers and a huge increase in population, not to mention an abundance of businesses.

The Royale Group are the sole reason why R City has been such a thriving city.

"That is Isabelle Royale, the granddaughter of that Edward Royale. Now, do you understand who she is?" said the assistant principal.
