Karasuno High Vs Karasuno Neighborhood Association

"Woah"

"Another practice match."

"Amazing, it will be a nice training before the match with Nekoma."

"But aren't they adults? They must have more power."

As everyone started discussing themselves, Coach Ukai looked at them and said, "Silence, now I will decide who will play in the team. I will substitute players in between so that everyone can play the match. Now all of you will come forward and tell your position. We don't have much time to waste. I want to defeat those damm cats".

At the end of the speech, Coach Ukai's face became scary. Daichi looked towards everyone and decided to take the first step.

"Daichi Sawamura, Opposite Hitter"

"Koshi Sugawara, Setter"

"Asahi Azumane, Wing Spiker"

"Yu Nishinoya, Libero"

"Ryunosuke Tanaka, Wing Spiker"

"Chikara Ennoshita, Outside Hitter"

"Hisashi Kinoshita, Wing Spiker"

"Kazuhito Narita, Middle Blocker"

"Sakamoto Kenshin, Opposite Hitter"

As soon as Kenshin spoke his name, members of the Karasuno Neighborhood team looked at him. Although Junior High Volleyball is not as famous as that High School one, others have read his name in the newspaper.

"Tobio Kageyama, Setter"

"Shoyo Hinata, Middle Blocker"

"Kei Tsukishima, Middle Blocker"

"Tadashi Yamaguchi, Middle Blocker"

"Now, I will call out the starting 6 who will play. But these are not fixed. I will substitute them with others. Daichi, Sugawara, Asahi, Nishinoya, Tanaka and Narita"

The playing 6 of the Karasuno Neighborhood Association team are-

[Arata and Kishi are OC, Arata is 186cm tall, muscular, and a plain-looking guy. Kishi is 175cm tall, lean, and a guy who has a sad face. And I have changes Uchiwaza from WS to a setter.]

The match began with Daichi serving for Karasuno High. The ball went to Kishi, who sent the ball to Uchiwaza with ease. Uchiwaza sent the ball to Arata. Arata spiked the ball so hard that it blew away Narita, Asahi, and Tanaka's block.

"So powerful."

"Man, adults really have more power."

"I think it's powerful, but its power is slightly less than Kenshin's."

"Yeah, we have practiced with Kenshin, so we should be able to stop it."

"But we haven't stopped Kenshin's spike even once."

The remaining second year started to discuss. Coach Ukai heard this and looked towards Kenshin, who is watching the match.

It is now the Karasuno NA team's turn to serve. Takinoue sent the ball to Asahi, who received it perfectly. Sugawara then set the ball for Tanaka, who spiked the ball hard, but it was stopped by Mori.

Tanaka was annoyed, but Daichi and Asahi cheered him up. Takinoue sent the ball to Daichi, who received the ball and sent it towards Sugawara, who then set the ball for Asahi. Mori, Arata, and Shimada were ready to block, but the spike from Asahi touched Shimada's fingers and flew out of bounds.

Karasuno team started cheering. Coach Ukai looked at Asahi and smiled. The game continued for some time, and Coach Ukai called for substitution.

"Kinoshita change places with Tanaka, and Tsukishima change places with Narita," Coach Ukai called out the substitution plan.

Without Tanaka, Karasuno High's attack power decreased, but Tsukishima makes up for it with his block. But Tsukishima still failed to stop power hitter Arata from Karasuno NA.

"Kenshin substitute with Asahi, Ennoshita substitute with Daichi, and Yamaguchi substitute with Kinoshita," Coach Ukai said after pondering for a bit.

It was Yamaguchi's turn to serve. He sent the ball to Uchizawa, the setter. Uchizawa sent it to Shimada, who sent the ball to Arata. Arata spiked the ball with full power, but it was blocked by Kenshin and Tsukishima's block.

Karasuno team started cheering as this was the first time they had managed to stop Arata. Coach Ukai looked at Kenshin, whose hands stopped that spike, and nodded.

Yamaguchi served, but the ball went to Uchizawa, who set it for Takinoue, whose spike was again stopped by Tsukishima and Kenshin. Karasuno continued to rake up points before Yamaguchi made an error, thus breaking his serve streak.

"Kenshin is amazing."

"Yeah, and Tsukishima too."

"For a moment, this looked like Date Tech's serve and block game."

"Now that you said it, Yeah, it looked like that."

The bench members were discussing among themselves. Coach Ukai looked at the Blockers duo and smiled evilly, and muttered, "Now, I will crush those cats."

It was Arata's turn to serve. He used a Jump serve which went to Nishinoya, who received it perfectly, and Sugawara set it for Kenshin. Kenshin did a run-up and jumped to spike the ball.

In mid-air, Kenshin saw there is some chance for a straight shot, so he did a Line shot. The Line shot with such power amazed even the Karasuno NA team members. Karasuno team started jumping around.

Asahi and Tanaka looked at the Line shot as if they were trying to remember Kenshin's body motion for the spike.

The game continued for some time, with the Karasuno NA team started getting serious and upping their game. They started to do Jump Serve or Jump Floaters, attack by changing Tempo.

Karasuno NA could have scored more, but many of their attacks were blocked by Kenshin and Tsukishima.

"Hinata substitute with Yamaguchi," Coach Ukai said, looking at Hinata. The game continued for a while. Although everybody was surprised by Hinata's jump, it didn't matter because either he was getting blocked or spikers getting points through his blocks.

Like this, the first set finished with Karasuno High's loss.

Both the teams change sides and prepared for the next set.

"Hinata, don't be upset. You will get better" Sugawara was trying to cheer up Hinata, who was depressed.

Before Hinata could reply, Coach Ukai gathered them and said, "For the next set, Kageyama will play as a setter. And Daichi will replace Ennoshita in the starting lineup".

"Oye, Kenshin. How did you do that" Tanaka asked excitedly.

"Do what?" Kenshin asked.

"Those super straight super awesome line shot", Tanaka asked. Asahi san and others also looked in Kenshin's direction.

"Hmmm, By practicing," Kenshin said after thinking for a while. Tanaka and others fell back sharing this.

"Hahaha, he is right. There is no other way to learn it other than practice, practice, and practice. Now start the match already", Coach Ukai looked at them and said.

The second set started with Kenshin's serve, which annoyed Karasuno NA team members. And Kenshin decided to use left-handed Jump Serve and show why he is called "Dual Weild Kenshin". By the time Kenshin's serve broke, Karasuno high has made a large point gap.

After playing for a while, Kageyama looked at Hinata and nodded, who looked like a dog getting a piece of meat.

Uchizawa served the ball to Kenshin, who received the ball with ease. Hinata started running towards the area of no blocks surprising the other team. Kageyama got under the ball and set it towards Hinata's hand, which was already in his spiking motion.

Coach Ukai and everyone who was watching it was stunned. Coach Ukai then pointed out that Hinata has his eyes closed which shocked others. He then asked the bench members about Hinata and Kageyama's past.

Kageyama used Hinata as a decoy and started scoring from Kenshin, Tsukishima, and Daichi's side.

Coach Ukai then woke up from his stupor and called for substitution.

"Asahi substitute for Kenshin, Narita substitute for Tsukishima, and Tanaka substitute for Hinata."

After that, the continued, but Karasuno's attack and defense decreased, giving a chance for Karasuno NA to make a comeback.

Coach Ukai again substituted players in between to check how they fare in different situations. In the end, Karasuno high lost to Karasuno NA with 31-33.

After the game, Coach Ukai told them what they were lacking and what would be now they practice regime. After Coach Ukai, other members of Karasuno NA started giving their opinions, complementing them, and even teasing them.

"Man, Kenshin guy is a genius."

"Yeah, I noticed that his jump is also very powerful. His spike point is higher than average"

"Don't forget the setter Kageyama and that libero Nishinoya."

"That Libero is amazing though he would have to work on overhand receive a bit."

"High School sure is amazing."

"It brings back many memories."

Karasuno NA team members started discussing as they went home. Meanwhile, Karasuno High members started stretching and discussing the match before going home.

Kenshin looked at Daichi and said, "Daichi san, I think we should also practice attacks with a change in tempo and back attacks."

"I think we should; otherwise, our opponent will understand our attack pattern, and it will increase the pressure on our spikers. And someone might quit again", Daichi said, looking towards Asahi.

"I will never quit again," Asahi retorted Daichi.

"Asahi san, you better not quit; otherwise, I will beat you to a pulp," Nishinoya shouted. Everyone laughed at Nishinoya's antics.

"Now do stretching and go home. Don't eat too many snacks and have proper dinner", Coach Ukai shouted at them.
