Chapter 22

[A/N:It is amazing to see a person get so angry at me changing Harry's name to Hadrian.I mean this guy complained about it like it was affecting him alot.I have seen thr name Hadrian James Potter being used a lot in some fanfics.]

That evening after tea the four children all managed to get down to the beach again and get their shoes and stockings off and feel the sand between their toes. But next day was more solemn. For then, in the Great Hall of Cair Paravel , that wonderful hall with the ivory roof and the west wall hung with peacock's feathers and the eastern door which looks towards the sea, in the presence of all their friends and to the sound of trumpets.

The four Pevensies walk up the aisle where all the Centaur are stood to attention. They pause looking at their four thrones which each have a significant carving on it. Then they walk up the steps and stand in front of their appropriate throne.

Aslan announced to everyone "To the glistening Eastern Sea, I give you Queen Lucy the Valiant."

Mr. Tumnus approaches in a nice green scarf and the Beavers bear the crowns.

Aslan then looking towards Edmund said"To the great Western Wood, King Edmund the Just."

Then to Susan"To the radiant Southern Sun, Queen Susan, the Gentle. And to the clear Northern Sky, I give you King Peter, the Magnificent."

Aslan then turned to his son and with a price in his voice said"To the Protector of Narnia,I give you King Hadrian the Selfless."

Mr. Tim is smiled at each and crowns each of them.

Aslan then gave shout"Once a King or Queen of Narnia, always a King or Queen. May your wisdom grace us until the stars rain down from the heavens."

All of them started shouting"Long live King Peter!Long live King Hadrian! Long live King Edmund! Long live Queen Susan! Long live Queen Lucy!"

And through the eastern door, which was wide open, came the voices of the mermen and the mermaids swimming close to the shore and singing in honour of their new Kings and Queens. So the children sat on their thrones and sceptres were put into their hands and they gave rewards and honours to all their friends, to Tumnus the Faun, and to the Beavers, and to the leopards, and the good centaurs, and the good dwarfs, and to the lion. And that night there was a great feast in Cair Paravel, and revelry and dancing, and gold flashed and wine flowed, and answering to the music inside, but stranger, sweeter, and more piercing, came the music of the sea people. But amidst all these rejoicings Aslan himself quietly slipped away.Hadrian noticed this and whispered to Susan"I will be back."

Susan saw this too ans nodded,while Lucy too saw the same.But her attention diverted with Mrs.Beaver saying something.

Aslan, walking on the beach in the sunset with Hadrian by his side, as Hadrian questioned"You are going back?"

Hadrian was talking about Aslan's Country, which was a divine and legendary land that was visible (but not normally accessible) from the world of Narnia in the sky beyond the earthly atmosphere to the farthest east of the Great Eastern Ocean, ruled by the Emperor-beyond-the-Sea and his son, Aslan. It lay beyond the Silver Sea and the Utter East, and indeed ringed around the entire world, as well as above the Stars of its sky and possibly beneath its bottom.

Aslan nodded and answered"I have responsibilities there and me being here will only stunt there growth."

Hadrian nodded and said"You are afraid they will look for your advise everytime a situation comes"

Aslan nodded,while in Cair Paravel Lucy runs out onto the balcony and Susan was walking behind her.

They see Aslan walking away from Hadrian.

Mr.Tummus is comes next to Susnan and Lucy saying"Don't worry.We'll see him again."

Lucy with sadness questioned"When?"

Mr. Tumnus answered "In time. One day he'll be here and the next he won't.But you mustn't press him.After all, he's not a tame lion."

Lucy with sadness replied"No.But he is good."

Mr. Tumnus then saying"Here."as he pulls out a hankie from under his scarf adding"You need it more than I do."

She takes it and sees that Aslan has disappeared and she saw Hadrian standing alone in the beach. She looks at Tumnus in surprise and he nods at her and takes her hand. She looks out to sea and begins to cry softly, while Susan comforts her saying"Don't worry, you will see him again."

[A/N:Also, I have been writing Hadrian in Buffyverse.It is going okay, I have the timeline ready and he arrived in that world around the year 900.Also with Deaths help with create Shadow Hunters and it will have some it' concepts like Idris and Institutes and stuff.]
