---------------
In the comforts of his forge Hades was hard at work. The coals in the furnace providing the only light as he methodically molded the metal parts. The sound of his hammer striking being the only sound other than the air sizzling. He was alone here in the Underworld, surrounded by his grand walls, secluded in his forge. It was how he did his best thinking.
After hanging out with Athena all day, after the strangeness that happened, he went and talked with Amaltheia, mostly about how things were going to procced. In the coming months Hades wouldn't have enough time to hang out with Meliodas since he would be in the Underworld for the foreseeable future. So, he insisted that they move in with him even going so far as saying that he'll lighten up the place.
She took him up on the offer of course, there was simply no reason not to. He was the man she loved and her son would not get any favors by not being around his dad so she moved in with the only condition being that he had to add some sort of sun since the Underworld wasn't the brightest place.
So now there's a giant blue glowing orb in the sky burning millions of degrees hot and casting a light-blue glow over the entirety of the Underworld making it even eerier if that was possible. But she was happy with it, it was his home plus the place where mortals came when they died, and she didn't want to make it too different from what he imagined it to be.
Meliodas was happy too, he thought the lava and dark mountains were cool, and seemed to like the animals the most. Amaltheia could almost always see him looking at the art etched on the wall, being most fond of the Ender Dragons. A type of dragon said to be able to end the world. He was also able to make friend's with the many clingers wandering around, those that were intelligent enough at least. Until of course they had to reincarnate which is when he usually went and to hang out with the Cyclops.
Coming back to Hades, he was still in his forge though instead of hammering away he was looking at his system(Incase you forgot he had one(I did lol)) currently in the shop. Scrolling through the infinite options, from Universe creating forge to a loaf of bread he couldn't help but be in awe at how powerful the Rob that sent him here was. It was humbling honestly, he was the strongest of his siblings, possibly one of the strongest gods in the world if he can assume the other pantheons are of similar strength to his siblings, yet he couldn't even imagine how he would accomplish something like this system.
Going back to the top of the list he sets the filters and sort order, looking for a specific item. Setting the filter to Sci-fi Robot and sort order to most popular the whole list was changed into things he hadn't seen at all, seemingly not very popular compared to magic or world destroying powers.
He only had 4, 546,328(4.5mil) which is kind of sad considering he had around 2 million before he went to sleep but considering that the humans growth has been stunted he can't complain much, especially since he's the one who caused it.
[Corvette class battleship]
[Atmospheric dropship]
[Titanfall2-Scorch]
[Orbital bombardment satellite- Extinction class]
[Bolter-Spacer class)
[Power armor- Spacer class]
[AI computer chip- Service class]
[AI computer chip- War class]
[Automaton Chassis schematic]
[Baymax]
[A Dalek]
And the list goes on and on yet his eyes stopped not far down, on an item listed for half a million souls, the AI service class computer chip.(this is not an omniscient ai typa deal)This is exactly what he needed, an assistant. In the next few months he planned to spit out an army capable of competing with Odin's, which would only be possible if 1. he used robots, or 2. trained the local population with the heavy use of magic to expedite the process.
He planned to do both. But all of it started with his assistant. A robot who would help generate ideas, perform tests, and construct more robots. One with a nice ass too.
Buying the chip, a tiny metallic square materialized on his palm, it had gold and grey microscopic wiring all over, literally covering the entire chip and he could hardly tell how it worked. Not thinking about the complexities of a millennias more advanced technology he walked over to a large metal table on the side of the room where my vessel of the half a million soul chip would be installed.
An Android. One that looks similar to a human in nearly every way except for a few key features. On the side of her head, barely hidden by her light brown hair tied in a tight ponytail, was a circle lit by blue light right where her temple would be. Standing next to her he couldn't help but admire his work. After over a month she's ready to be activated.
Instead of the plastic and silicone that other service androids are usually made of his is made of netherite. Each part of her is built to last for centuries, from her flexible skeleton to her soft skin able to conceal her inner parts by changing color at will. With a sigh he leans down, gently moving a stray strand of hair behind her ear as he taps the lightly glowing circle. She was built to last, not to fight he had to remind himself, war droids will come later.
With a click it pops out and a little square holder was revealed, almost like he was inserting a CD. With slow movemnts he places the chip, getting close enough that it magnetically corrects it's position. The tray closing on it's own Hades wait in silence, his patience being tested as he simply stares down at her sleeping face. She looked like Kara from Detroit Become Human, with only a few adjustments to the nose and tech, the overall body shape is the same, the personality shouldn't be too far off either.
This would be his first step into his future plans, if it didn't go well he'd have to rethink a lot of things. The biggest of which would be how he could stop Odin. He has no doubt that if he went all out, to the point of destroying another part of the world that he would win, but Hades wasn't willing to go that far now that he had things to protect. His son, Amaltheia, even his sisters and nieces. If worst comes to worst he'd probably just surrender to Asgard, but that's if all else fails which Rob willing wont.
Refocusing back on his project, he waits. The low hum as her being flicks on makes him giddy. He stood with bated breath, all he needed was to see her eyes and then he'll know if it worked. A moment later and the blue circle on the side of her head changed color, from a cool blue to a deep yellow, processing, it meant.
And then suddenly before he could see her eyes shot open, staring directly into his right above her face. She took in a deep breath, her chest rising, and the next moment her beautiful voice finally reached her creators ears.
"Hello, I am Kara, your personal Android assistant, I am here for your every need." It was sweet and clear, perfect.
"Stand up and run diagnostics, I want to know everything about you." She stands up and stretches out in a T-pose.
"Limb modules- Mint condition, Bio-organs- Mint condition, micro tools- Mint condition, Reactive skin- Mint condition, Skull servo- Mint condition, all facilities operational and at full functionality, notice, Reactive skin is 13% harder than what is desired, most probably caused by the extreme heat I am currently being exposed to. I am ready to do anything you want or need, please make use of me." She said like reading a sheet of paper. Right now as a brand new Android she only has her programming to go off of but as she does more and gains more experiences over time, should, become human.
"Good, you're just as I imagined. Now to catch you up to speed. In the coming months a god called Odin will arrive, we can imagine that he is being sent here to conquer and that there is little room for negotiation. But the Olympians, us, are quite young and as such have not gathered an army so, that task falls upon me." Her servo spins a dark yellow light, processing everything he's saying, picking up a few hidden meanings and context clues along the way.
"I need you, Kara, to help me build an army, half robot half human. You will build the machines and I will build the men. Any materials you might require can be found in the vault and if not simply find me and I will assist you. I expect at least 10 a day each with the combat capabilities to fight off a few Asgardian soldiers at a time. I will give you a blueprint to a starting chassis it's on you to improve it or simply mass produce it. Any questions?" Finishing his orders he waits for any last questions as she looks at him blankly.
"What are the capabilities of an Asgardian, from what I could tell they are the soldiers of a god so I can expect them to be strong but how much so?" She says
"Around 5 times as strong as a human some even capable of wielding magic."
"And what will you be doing while I complete my task?" She said which suprised Hades considering that this showed she was curious which meant she was already creating her personality.
"I'll be in the mortal realm training some of the tribes. Mostly with magic" He said mumbling the last bit, but sure she heard it clearly.
"How will I get into contact with you, we have yet to construct a communication network." She said ensuring she had all her bases down before he left for what she could tell was around half a year.
"Simple really, I know since your made out of technology that you don't really understand magic very well but all you have to do is go to my throne and knock on it, and I'll be there soon." He said simply as he started to clean his forge up, for the foreseeable future it would be hers. The forge was quite advance for a world currently in the stone age, it had hydraulic presses, machining tables, a fabricator and every tool or machine needed to create machines of war. At the same time keeping the old fashioned sword and steel smithery he wanted to keep. He needed her to do what he said, he needed her to be who he designed her to be, and for that he had to trust her.
Her servo spun a quick red before returning to a calm blue as she looked around the room. Her blue eyes running through the machines making a plan to execute. Suddenly Hades walked up to her his massive body dwarfing her average size, she looks up at him. Seeing that it will be hard to get his point across this way bends down on his knee and looks her in the eyes. Grabbing her hand and holding it in his.
"I know this might be a little scary, having all this thrown at you. But don't worry, I built you, I believe in you, so don't worry and just do what I tell you and everything will work out.
To this her eyes widen a little bit, completely surprised by the physical touch and the warmness of his hand. Hearing the pure trust in his voice and the truth in his face she could help but feel a little happy that her creator felt this way about her. So she made a promise that she would never break until the day that he does.
"I-I'll do my best!"
