Chapter 6 Morganrote

POV Mike

In the morning I left to go to check out my new property. As I rode away on my bike I could not shake the feeling I was being watched. I rode my motorcycle for an hour before arriving at the property Exactly as described it had a few Warehouses and a small administration building. The property was obstructed from veiw by trees and surrounded by a chain link fence. it was overgrown and in need of serious work, but hey, it was big sitting at over 500 acres with room to expand it was perfect for his needs. It backed up to cliffs that sat 200 ft above the coast. (System will the Morganrote complex be above ground?) Mike thought to himself. [No the primary complex will be below ground with auxiliary buildings being above ground along with some necessary equipment such as a mass driver that can be installed later] ( Good please place the complex underneath the admin building so as to make it inconspicuous) I thought before a slight rumble shook the area.

DING Base placed please inspect.

Eagerly I approached the admin building, parking the Taxi Bike outside the front door before entering. The entrance to the lower base was an elevator hidden in an room that i decided would be my main office. I saw a list of floors starting with G and moving on to B1 through B20 I pressed the button for B5, and the elevator opened up into a high tech command center for lack of a better term. in it was a detailed map of all 20 basement levels and for the first time I saw just how impressive my new base was. B20 contained Power plants in the form of both a Massive GN Drive and a Geothermal plant. Between the two they were capable of powering a city. Also on this level were fresh water and fresh air systems along with Heating and cooling systems for the base.

B19 housed several labs that were shielded and isolated in the event something went wrong. They contained equipment for research into biological, nuclear, nanotechnology, and a variety of other fields. These labs were high tech and contained the most advanced equipment available.

B18 was a warehouse housing materials for building various products as well as secure Armories and storeroom for equipment and parts.

B17 was a manufacturing area for missiles and other ammo.

B16 was the manufacturing area for vehicles such as the Taxi bike as well as other tech such as Haro.

B15 was the manufacturing area for mobile Suits, only the Mass produced suits though such as Zakus, Strike Daggers and Astrays. in addition I have to get the blueprints from the system first

B15 was the manufacturing area for the GN and Pseudo GN Drives.

B14 was still far below the waterline and was rather unique. It served as a building area and hanger for the mobile suit Carriers there was space for 1 carrier to be docked at once and the entrance was a tunnel that led out 500 yards offshore and allowed the carrier to emerge from underwater to keep the entrance hidden.

B13 was a staging area for the mobile Suits including a firing range and sparing area for hand to hand combat.

B12 were crew quarters with enough space for 300 to 400 people to live comfortably in bunk rooms of 8 people. there were also "Officer Quarters" which were single person rooms that while not any bigger than the Bunk rooms were only single occupant. Only about 15 of these were there though.

B11 Housed the cafeteria and infirmary

B10 was a training area that had gun ranges classrooms and a gym with running track and every available piece of gym equipment imaginable

B9 was office space for lack of a better term a bunch of small rooms with desks.

B8 was a tool workshop it had everything from plasma cutters to sledgehammer all neatly arranged on shelves.

B7 was a Mobile suit/vehicle hanger that opened up to a disguised door on the cliff face big enough to launch all but the largest mobile armors.

B6 was the armory for small arms. It had a variety of handguns, shotguns, rifles, as well as body armor knives, and survival equipment.

B5 that I was on was a command center capable of monitoring the whole complex

B4 was a mechanics shop for the land vehicles.

B3 housed communications equipment with which I could maintain global communications and monitor them as well just in case

B2 Was the garage land vehicles galore Trucks motorcycles sprotscars filled this level

B1 was a had an opening top that could be used to launch helicopters and VTOL aircraft. Above B1 the base was shielded by reinforced concrete and 1 ft of a titanium copper alloy that had the added benefit of being non magnetic. I wad going to replace it with gundanium first chance I got though just to make my base more secure.

As I finished touring my new base and stepped out of the building I was met by a familiar face.
