POV Mike

Alarms were blaring, and the lights were flashing. There was a far-off crash followed by a loud bellowing. Mike and the others saw a giant shadow in one of the holes that had been opened in the ceiling during the fight.

"What the hell of that?" Logan asked, still healing from the beating that he had gotten.

"Chemo, what the hell is that thing doing here?" Green Lantern said, looking at the 25 ft tall green giant.

"Not good," Wonder Woman exclaimed. "We are within a few hours of 2 major cities and at least 10 small towns. Not to mention the swamp, if the toxins he has are released, the death toll and environmental damage would be emense!"

Mike heard the notification and began running to the exit. As soon as he had a signal, he called for the Archangel to launch the Freedom and to open up with the beam cannons to keep Chemo pinned down.

Switching the comms to an open frequency, he requested that Green Lantern and any hero with ice or earth powers create a barrier to contain any toxins. released. He called Tony, Reed, and Fury warning of the situation and requesting cleanup crews to be dispatched.

Mike boarded the Freedom right as the Archangel began its attack on Chemo. Broadcasting over the open comms, Mike warned everyone that everything Chemo obsorbs makes it grow. He then joined the assault using Freedom's beam rifle and cannons.

Chemo gave another roar and began to spew acid towards the Archangel and attacking Freedom with lumbering slow but strong punches. Mike raised the shield in Freedom's hands but it was knocked out of his hands flying across before slamming into the ground.

Thinking quickly Mike pulled out his second beam Sable and relied on the agility of the Gundam to help him safe as he hacked and slashed with every blow. Mike noticed that Chemo was avoiding the areas of the base that were on fire. (Could it be?) Mike wondered. He then ordered the Archangel to open up with incendiary missiles. Brand acknowledged the order and released a few to see what would happen.

The effect was instant as Chemo lurched away from the fire with reckless abandon clearly afraid of the extreme heat. "Change of strategy" Mike said over the comms as he switched the Freedom to full burst mode, "Anyone who can use fire or extreme heat get up here!" The heroes where confused ar first till they saw Chemo and his reaction to the fire. "Flash they had to have this bastard contained somewhere in the base find out where and see if we can't recontain it!" Mike ordered. Flash acknowledged the order and rand into the base to find it.

Superman, Fire, and Batman joined in the fight against Chemo with Batman using incendiary ammo from the batwing to help. Between the 3 of them, the Freedom and the Archangel, they began to force Chemo back towards the holding cell Flash had found. Green Lantern joined in, and Chemo was finally contained.

The news was not all good. Chemo had released toxins during the fight that, despite their best efforts, have cause mass death in the swamp. The toxins had gotten into a couple of towns water supplies, and people were already falling sick. Medical people were overtaxed and failing rapidly. SHIELD, the Justice League, the National Gaurd and Stark and Richards industries were overworked trying to help. Mike was flying in his nano pods to assist in the humanitarian efforts.

Eiling had been caught, but he had done something to himself. He was an 8 ft tall hulking monstrosity with tusks. He kept yelling how he was serving his country and that superheroes were the real problem. He then escaped a few hours later and has not been seen since.

Then there was the current problem Mike was dealing with. " Those are the property of the US goverment." The man in a black suit and tie spoke again.

"No those are people same as you or me they have been brainwashed and used as weapons they are under my protection and will be coming back with me to get the help they need." Mike replied

"You need to hand the kryptonians to me, they are among the last of my people I need to see to their saftey." Superman through in his two cents.

Mike stood firm. "I take both custody and responsibility for them they are in need of help and Morganrote will assist them this is not up for debate."

"Are you defying your country Mr Yamato?" The Agents tone turned dangerous.

"Interesting, well I guess that this news will get out sooner or later." Mike spoke nonchalantly. "I hereby announce the formation of the Orb Union as an independent and sovereign nation from all countries. The capitol and populace of this country will be based on our space stations. As a sovereign I take these three under asylum and invoke diplomatic immunity."

"You can just do that." Spiderman tried to reason knowing that the government would not take this lying down.

"You are under arrest for treason!" The agent responded.

"And who will be arresting me Mr???" Mike asked sarcastically.

"Agent Bennet, NSA." Agent Bennett growled out.

"Ah well see then you seem to have a problem." Mike spoke. " NSA is an intelligence agency you have no arrest powers here."

Bennet began to pull out his gun when he heard a click, stopping him in his tracks.

"I advise you keep that toy where it belongs." Mike spoke dangerously.

"Hold on both of you." Superman spoke getting in between them.

"All non medical Morganrote personnel report to Archangel. Security team to my location." Mike spoke into his comms. "Superman meet me at my spacestation and we will continue our discussion but my team and I are leaving."

Before Superman could respond Wolverine led a team of security personnel into the area that Mike was located. "There a problem?" He growled.

"Just a small fish overstepping his bounds." Mike replied. "Let's go." He then led the team as they left to the Archangel.

Once on board Mike advised Logan that the Archangel was leaving for space again immediately and to raise the compounds security to the highest level it appears that the goverment despite their supposed disowning of Eiling and his organization had no intention of stopping the programs just moving them out of sight.

Once at the complex the Archangel launched into space again less than an hour later FBI agents showed up with a warrant for the arrest of Mike Yamato and seizure of his property. They were met with turrets and automatons pointing weapons at them. "He is not here you lot won't get in leave now." Wolvering said over the monitor before hanging up. "I need a damn beer he grumbled."

POV Fury

"You motherfucker. You have any idea the shitstorm you started?" Fury spoke angrily over the phone. "The US Goverment is demanding that I get a group together to come up their and arrest you."

"You know they were wrong Fury." Mike spoke softly, his tone making Fury anxious. "Maybe I have been to lenient with them. Last time I just had video cameras record them this time I will release onto the internet every single classified document pertaining to the inhumane mistakes that they made there."

"You wouldn't, that would burn any bridge you had with them." Fury cautioned, "Just having those is a treasonable offense."

"I'm serious Fury at this time the Orb union is formed the territory of it is this space station and any other space stations we make. As well as any planets we terraform. We may be small, but we will not be bullied." Mike responded

"Be careful kid they could the same label you as a terrorist organization and attempt to turn everything against you." Fury warned.

"I have said this before Fury, Siv vis Pacem Para Bellum. Morganrote out."
