Lliw was not an idiot and was able to see what he was doing wrong. He saw how his summon was able to party the skeleton's attacks and tried the same thing.

1st try – He missed by a few centimeters and the dagger landed on his arm. He couldn't feel the pain but he was sure that it must hurt a lot. He jumped back to put some distance between them and tried once more.

2nd try – He managed to graze the dagger but his sword turned sideways due to the skeleton's strength and once again, he suffered another wound but this time, it was on his chest.

3rd try – He managed to counter it's attack.

4th try – Success!

5th try – success!

6th – failed!

7th – failed!

8th – Success!

…He hadn't managed to master the technique but he was able to execute it more than 50% of the time.

The good thing about all this was that he was able to maintain Aggro on the skeleton while the summoned warrior continuously dealt damage to the skeleton.

700…600…500!

Steadily, the skeleton's HP dropped through the skeleton's constant attacks.

400…300…200…100…0!

Finally, after more than 5 minutes, the skeleton lost all of its HP and turned into a pile of Bones.

Lliw was out of breath from all the physical activity. He was very used to this feeling.

Lliw suddenly saw a small glass vial spawn on the ground next to him

The vial was filled with an orange liquid.

" Meh, this is pretty normal I guess"

He took the potion and chugged it down.

"wow, this is great!" he exclaimed in surprise. expected it to taste like bitter medicine like the ones he'd had from old man Mu or to be tasteless but it was really good. It was very sweet but not bitter.

"ah, what a shame. There was only so little" He said regrettingly as he smacked his lips in reminisce of the new flavor he'd just experienced.

He felt a bit rush spread from his stomach to all the other parts if his body.

"wow, so..so much energy! Haha, I feel like I just swallowed a battery!" He roared with great vigor.

He felt like all his cells were full of energy and that he could run around the world at full speed without tiring one bit.

" This is really great!" He said, getting a bit emotional. He had never experienced such a feeling before. Although he was always active, his body was weak and he would experience a lack of energy a little too often.

He quickly wiped the tears from his eyes and pumped himself up.

" alright, what's next system?" He asked.

before he could even catch his breath, the ground started shaking. He could feel the intense tremors that threatened to fell him.

The gloomy forest suddenly turned even gloomier.

~krak!~

The sound of trees being broken constantly rang in his ears. He turned to the sound and saw a 5m tall skeleton merrily making its way over to him.

"Son of a…" His mouth dropped open and gaped at the freakish sight before him. It's not like he was new to this type of creature. On the contrary, he'd fought against a great number of skeleton giants many a times in the games he used to play. However, those giants were on-screen and never really posed a danger to himself. Now that one was standing in front of him, he realized just how terrifying these shitty things are.

Even the tallest man ever recorded , Robert Wadlow, was only 2.72 m and he was a freaking giant. Now this son of a gun shows up and he's basically twice his size, Lliw felt especially tiny once he was only 1.5 m himself.

" Damn bastard, what the hell did he eat when he was alive? " He thought.

The skeleton giant easily made it's way to him and he was once again, shocked.

" Aiya, I'm flattered system. To think that you would hold me in such high regard. Don't worry , although this pile of Bones looks strong, I shall not disappoint you and will make quick work of it. Haha, rest easy, fair maiden" He laughed like a narcissistic knight from the olden days. He held his sword valiantly and stood tall( not really) against the giant. He didn't mind his nauseatingly corny lines, he was alone here anyway. And besides, which guy didn't dream of being a hero, skating villains and rescuing beauties.

" you fiend! Prepare to become nourishment for this dead soil" he said and launched himself at the giant without any fear.

He put up the small play just to rid himself if the fear within. At least, he didn't want to let it consume him.

"Attack!"

He and his summoned warrior fearlessly charged at the skeleton giant. He had more HP so ran infront of the summoned warrior.

Whoop!

The skeleton's giant sword cut through the air and headed for Lliw.

"Parr- Shit!" He was going to party the incoming attack when he suddenly changed his mind. He dived onto the floor.

Bang!

An explosion rang behind him. A great deal of sand and small rocks fell over him.

He quickly got to his feet and was rather horrified at the condition of the earth behind him. There was a large hole where the giant's sword hit. In fact, the sword was buried in the earth right in the middle of the hole.

"H-h-holy shit!" He said with terror written in his eyes. He felt extremely luck that he and his summoned warrior were not hurt. His summoned warrior was much more skilled than himself and had easily evaded the attack.

"we… might be… Fucked" he said. His knees were shaking uncontrollably and his back was wet. He truly felt afraid.

"graaaah!.." he grit his teeth forcefully and let out a desperate war cry. Next he got under the skeleton's legs and let out a flurry of slashes at it's legs.

"30!..30!..30!..30!"

He was able to attack it 4 times before the skeleton giant picked up its sword and attacked once again.

Whoosh…boom!

Even though Liew knew how it would attack, the attack was still too fast for him so to evade it, he could only till about unsightly on the floor. The summoned warrior was much number than him. It calmly sidestepped the attack before attacking ten skeleton once again. Lliw didn't want to waste the chance and joined in as well.

"2700..2650..2600.." the skeleton's Hp decreased slowly through their combined effort. The skeleton giant attacked very slowly. It would attack and spend about 4 seconds picking up it's Sword off the ground. It was pretty easy for Lliw and his summoned skeleton to chip away at it's HP.

Suddenly, when the skeleton giant's HP reached 2000, it immediately picked up it's sword, held it out horizontally and spun once.

"300!"

"300!"

The attack dealt 300 to Lliw and the summoned warrior.

"holy crap!" Lliw muttered in amazement yet he never stopped attacking. When the skeleton giant's HP reached 1500, it once again repeated it's attack.

"300!"

"300!"

Once again, the ridiculously high damage appeared as red colored text above Lliw and the summoned warrior's heads. Sadly, the summoned warrior could not accommodate the damage dealt to it and died, disappearing with a flash of light.

" damn, I'm alone now" He said, gritting his teeth. He attached once more but was a bit more cautious now. He paid careful attention to the skeleton giant's health.

1120…1090…1060..1030…1000

When the skeleton giant's HP reached 1000, Lliw instantly fell to the ground and laid down on his stomach.

Whoo!

He felt the powerful wind blowing above him. He promptly got up and quickly evaded an incoming attack before attacking it once more.

A few minutes later, the skeleton's HP reached 500 and it swung ihe once again got own on his stomach to dodge the sword swing attack. He got up quickly and moved away with a speed that was foreign to him.

Boom!

Instantly, the area he was standing in ruptured as a sword inserted itself there. He one again got to attacking

Right now, he had just below 1000 HP. Whet the skeleton giant's HP reached 250, it executed it's attack once more, however, this time he wasn't prepared for it.

"300!"

Next, the skeleton giant attacked with it's sword strike before he could regain his footing.

"100!"

Unlike when it missed, the skeleton giant didn't take 4 seconds to pick up it's sword, it picked it up instantly and launched another attack.

"100!"

"100!"

[Ding!]

[ You have received too much blunt force damage in a short period of time ]

[ You have been stunned! Unable to move or attack for 1 second ]

"100!"

"100!"

The notifications piled in top of each other as the skeleton giant made quick work of him. He lost over 800 HP in just 6 seconds! Moreover, he was stunned.

Luckily, the stun was only 1 second long, as soon as it wore off, he utilized his many years of gaming experience and pushed his brain to it's limits and he was able to successfully evade the skeleton's sword attack.

" Die, piece of shit!" he cursed as he let out a storm of attacks on its skeletal legs.

250..220..190..160..130…100..

He steadily brought down it's HP while evading it's sword attack every 4 seconds.

90…60...30…0!

Finally, after a few minutes of non-stop slashing, he managed to kill the giant abomination.

"Pui! Stay dead" He spat in it in frustration, he had been tense the whole time while fighting it.

Lliw was only left with. Measly 10% of his max Hp. He wondered if he would have been forced to fight the skeleton giant again had he failed. Just thinking about it made him shiver, he didn't want to go through that again. He knew that the reason why he didn't feel exhausted even though he had been physically active for the past half hour was only because of the <stamina potion> he had drunk before the fight.
