The Kiss

The cool wind blew in his face and hair and...everywhere. His heart beat crazily but he suppressed the fear he felt and grabbed loosely on to the rope. The reason he had done that was so that he could just slide down the rope.

~krll~

The resulting friction burned his hands but he held on. Deep down, he understood that he'd most likely have to do attempt even more daring stunts from now on. He understood that he'd also feel pain much worse than he did right now and that he couldn't just shy away from it.

He grit his teeth as he sled down the rope. Half way down, his hands couldn't bare it any more and he let go by accident. He was now free falling without a hint of support.

Xiao Hua's Heart sank when she saw him let go of the rope. If he fell from such a height, even if he didn't die, he'd be lucky if he got away with only a few broken bones. She anxiously stood where she anticipated he'd fall and raised her arms hoping to cushion his fall. Lliw was falling face down so he saw all this and felt quite touched. He knew that the momentum he had build up would most definitely hurt her as well. Normally, this was the moment that those MC's from the anime he used to watch, would wave and shout, frantically telling the other party to move because they would also get hurt.

However Lliw did no such thing as he knew that it wouldn't work and also, there was a slight chance that they'd get off pretty lightly.

He accepted the fact that they would both get hurt and decided that whether they got lucky or not, he owed her a massive favor, one that can't be repaid easily.

~crash!~

Lliw crashed right into her. She spun around slightly when she caught him while pulling herself back, hoping to minimize the impact as much as possible.

Still, she felt pain in her torso and her back. Her mouth also received some damage but her head didn't. She felt a soft object protecting her head from the impact.

It was Lliw's hand. Apparently, He had wrapped his hand around her head just before they fell. The pain was negligible, all that mattered was that she had done it.

"Wait, something doesn't feel right" She thought. She felt a warm, wet sensation on her lips. Apparently, they had "coincidentally" gotten into another kiss. She felt it was pretty exhausting to get into these types of situation so often.

Lliw woke up from his daze and also discovered the situation. He saw her look blankly at him. He also didn't know what to do anymore. In the end, he just closed his eyes and continued the kiss. Although he had never kissed anyone before, he knew from his Dorm mates and certain 'anime' that you were supposed to use your tongue as well. He boldly sent in his tongue.

Xiao Hua was still savoring being alive when suddenly, an intruder invaded her mouth. She hesitated a bit before opening her teeth and letting the intruder in. Lliw had already prepare himself for a fierce rejection and was surprised when she showed no resistance. He felt especially glad when she brought out her tongue to meet his. They were both equally new to this so it was quite sloppy but it still felt very special. This continued for a while until, they were forced to separate by their need to breathe.

He rolled off her and lay next to her, blankly staring at the sky.

"..."

They stayed like that for a while before he got up and helped her up as well. They then silently climbed over the wall and were finally free.

They went into one of the clothing stores and he bought some new clothes and change in to them. She went to the bathroom and freshened up before they entered a pizza hut and had their lunch. They figured that it was already too late to go join up with the rest of her family so she called them and after listening to her mother's scolding, they decided they'd meet back at home. She was also quite hungry so they ordered a large ,quad-decker pizza. Coincidentally, they both enjoyed the classic chicken topping so there was no hassle. After a satisfying lunch, they went into a KTV and booked a room by themselves. The employee gave them a weird look but they ignored it.

They had come here not to sing but because they had some sensitive topic to discuss. Actually the players couldn't talk about [Guardians Sanctuary] in public and even if they did, a spell would come into effect, cancelling their voices or make it such that any non-player would be unable to hear or see what was said or displayed. However it was still embarrassing to appear in public while speaking but none being able to hear your words, also it would make them seem super secretive and will draw attention to themselves. Also, you never know , there might be a player secretly listening in on your conversation.

She went up and selected a random song. They then sat down and had their discussion while enjoying soft drinks.

"Alright, what happened after I left?" She asked.

"... Well." He was debating whether to tell her it not. The golden woman said that he must keep everything she had told him, a secret. To the other players, [Guardians sanctuary] was nothing but a game.

"You don't have to tell me if it's a secret" She said when she saw that he remained silent.

"..it is a secret..." Lliw affirmed. Although she said she didn't mind, she couldn't stop herself from feeling disappointed. However she understood and accepted that everyone had their own secrets.

" It's a secret, so I hope you don't tell anyone else" He continued with a serious expression. Xiao Hua was taken aback. She had already accepted that he wouldn't tell her but now.. Unknowingly, a gentle smile formed on her face.

"What are you staring at? " She asked a tad bashfully when she saw how he was unrestrainedly staring at her.

"Nothing, it's just... It's my first time seeing you smile. " His voice contained no small amount of care.

"..." Anyway enough with the jokes. She said to easeease the awkwardness.

Lliw began to tell her a lot of the things that the golden woman had told him.

"Uh.... that's the case, huh" she said flatly. She stared at him for a while before finally speaking.

" So, what ability did you awaken? " She asked with a bit of interest .

"Eer it's not very strong. I just have the ability to summon weaker people than me." He said awkwardly.

"..." Xiao Hua was in disbelief. She didn't think he'd awaken something that bad. However, she didn't want him to get discouraged by this.

"Well, there are strong talents and there are weaK talents, but there are absolutely no useless talents" She said comfortingly.

" You just have to find a complimenting ability that will make your talent shine" she said with a soft smile. She realised just how difficult that would be.

"..."

They both fell into an awkward silence.

"Hahahahaha"🤣🤣🤣" Lliw laughed out loud.

"..." Xiao Hua narrowed her eyes dangerously. She grit her teeth in frustration. She truly felt wronged. She had offered her words on account that they were acquainted yet he just mercilessly laughed at her... She clenched her fist, barely resisting the urge to the living daylight out of him.

Lliw finally got himself under control.

"Please don't misunderstand, I'm just surprised that you would offer such kind words" he explained.

"Hmph" she snorted in dissatisfaction but the blush on her face showed that she had been caught. Truthfully, even she didn't quite understand why she had said that. Perhaps it was due to the fact that Lliw was her Grandpa's friend and didn't want him to get depressedsded.

However, what kind of dog shit idiot was this guy
