The Escape

There was an awkward silence between the 2 of them. For Lliw, this was not his first kiss. He had 'kissed' the golden woman but that was literally just connecting their lips together so she could circulate her mana through his body. He didn't know that, to invite him in to the game, Xiao Hua had already kissed him but that was also just connecting their lips together, nothing more. During the kiss with the golden woman, he didn't get to enjoy the feeling of the kiss as he was too busy conversing with her in his mind.

Now, he could feel her soft lips on his own and the feeling was quite special. Their shock had caused them to be in such a position for quite a while. Even after they were found by the nurse, they didn't get up. In fact it only served to increase their shock. They were found kissing in a hospital ward. Xiao Hua had her eyes closed as her cheeks turned a rosy pink. She already looked beautiful enough but now, Lliw found her especially alluring however, he didn't want to take advantage of her so when he finally got the courage, he lifted his head, ending their kiss. When their lips parted, there was a transparent thread that was connecting their lips. The thread broke when Lliw moved back enough causing their blush to deepen.

He silently made the bed and sat on the side. Xiao Hua reluctantly got off the floor and also sat on the side of the bed a distance away from him.

"..."

"Sorry, I didn't mean to take advantage of you" Lliw apologized feeling quite sorry. He knew that although he didn't mean to, he had still taken advantage of her. What if she thought he was a pervert and told old man Mu about it? He didn't want to know what would happen in that situation. Although he and old man Mu shared a good friendship and in fact they were so close that they were almost like and old man and his grandson, she was his biological granddaughter and Lliw was sure that he would take her side and thus lose a good friend. He didn't want that.

"..."

"Can we leave here first?" He suggested after seeing that she was not willing to talk. He was about to walk out when a hand grabbed his arm from behind. Obviously it was Xiao Hua. She still had a blush on her face but it was significantly lighter now.

"How do you plan on explaining your current condition?" She pointed out a fact he'd overlooked. When he came in just under 2 hours ago, he was in a very bad condition yet now, only 2 hours later, he was as healthy as if it were all just a bad dream. His brows furrowed as he tried to think of a believable enough excuse.

"Sigh..." Xiao Hua sighed before taking his hand. This act greatly surprised Lliw.

"What the hell is she doing?" He thought as he gave her a weird look.

"Don't think too much of it. We're going to sneak out of here. Anyway, they don't know our identities so it will be fine."She said as she saw his expression.

"Anyway, just follow my exact footsteps and we should be out of here" She said before walking out, still holding his hand.

Lliw had no choice but to follow her. She looked quite funny with her serious yet cute look as she concentrated on escaping without being found. However, he knew now was not the time to laugh so he held it in.

The Hospital wasn't that busy as it was mainly used to treat emergencies originating from the beach and neighboring areas. The Ward Lliw as in was situated on the 5th floor near the stairs.

They sneak passed some nurses making their rounds and entered the unlocked rooms to hide temporarily. They rushed down the stairs while making the least noise possible. Well, Lliw was an amateur at this sleuth activity so he made quite a bit of noise and she cast reproachful glares at him every now and then. She took him down to the 2nd floor and then lead him to a ward at the back of the building. They entered and although there was a patient inside, she gestured for him to not make a sound before opening the window.

"Err, please don't tell me we're going to jump." He said. He was just a normal human. How did she expect him to jump down such a height.

"Tsk, of course not. " She rolled her eyes at him before pulling off her top.

"Woah!Calm down, what are you doing?" Lliw let out a startled cry.

"SHHHH!" She shushed him mercilessly and sent him a stern glare causing him to swallow his words. He turned away as he didn't want to take advantage of her again. He figured she must have a reason for doing that. He heard some shuffling sounds behind him and resisted the strong urge to turn around and ogle her topless body.

"She's so beautiful and her figure is also very good. Also, her body felt so soft.." Countless thoughts flashed in his mind but he turned them down one by one. A short moment now seemed like a year.

"OK, you can turn around now" Her gentle voice put an end to all his messy thoughts. He exhaled in relief before turning around to see her already in her clothes, but with an extra detail. She had a slim, black rope in her hands. Lliw's sight was drawn by the black rope that he failed to notice the soft lush on her cheeks. She was glad that he didn't pursue the matter and resumed her work.

She took the rope and did a fancy knot on one of the legs of a chair. the chair was larger than the window so there was no chance of it following them down when they jumped.

"Alright. Just pretend you're in gym class and climb down the rope" She said to him before fearlessly jumping out. Lliw's heart jumped to his throat at the sight but when he saw how effortlessly she was climbing down the rope, he let out a relieved sigh. She reached the bottom in no time and it was now his turn to descend.

Lliw hesitated. He was actually feeling very nervous. He had never done anything like this before. He couldn't really do PE in school on account of how weak his body was. He would just run one lap and feel exhausted.

He looked down and saw her waiting there for him. He took a deep breath before grabbing the rope and jumping off.
