Keith could be seen exiting the Doppler movie theatre, he had just watched a classic movie, something which he had greatly enjoyed. He wanted to leave after seeing that no other movie he liked came up, he didn't want to spend his entire day watching movies, even if he could, he would not…
He had fought his entire life, enjoying everything now would be a disappointment in comparison to what he could achieve and so he knew that retirement would not be in his near future.. crime was as much of a job as a lifestyle for him.. in some ways he was much closer to Trevor than Michael in that regard..
Taking a look at his phone for the time he noticed that Trevor and Franklin had responded to him, with Michael being the only one to not even look at the text.. It al seemed a little off to Keith..
Looking around for his car he found that it wasn't on the side of the street anymore where he had parked it.. he knew it wasn't illegally parked or anything, so that would mean it was stolen..
Keith mumbled some curses to himself, regretting that he didn't put a tracker on it.. With the phone still in his hand he decided to send his assistant a message..
She would need to file a police report and look for any possible traces of where it could have gone.. He wanted his car found as soon as possible, if he couldn't find it before the coming morning he would need to wait for another day until he could get it..
Getting a immediate positive response from Stacy, he began to walk towards his cab company.. his mood completely soured by the loss of his car..
On his way to the cab company he could see the construction of the cassino, the parking lot was still a mess full of construction equipment, but it seemed as though they had finally begun the construction on the main building.. he had seen that they had been busy with a underground network, but that had seemingly been completed quite quickly..
Seeing the progress caused Keith to wonder if all the construction workers were just being moved around all the time.. it seemed as though they made a start on something and completely abandoned it afterwards, just to complete it a couple of months later..
His mind stopped wondering as he neared his company and a mayor branch of the lost mc clubhouse.. he hadn't been in contact with them for a while, excluding the killing of a group of trigger happy fuckups… there were some guys at the entrance, but they didn't seem to be doing anything except smoking while standing guard…
Turning onto his property he signalled for a guy that was just about to leave work to come over..
"I need a ride.." he looked confused for a second before recognising Keith..
"I am sorry boss, but I have just gotten done.. I am sure we could get you any other taxi to take you where you need to go.."
"I know that you want to go home, but what do you say about a bonus of a thousand dollars for a round trip of a hour or less.." The driver looked at the time contemplating it for a couple of seconds before nodding..
"I am sure the wife wont mind me being a bit late.." The reason the taxi driver only got of at this hour was because he needed the money.. normally driving the boss would be compensated for by the company, but that wasn't worth it for him, who had been working since the morning.. but a thousand dollars could help him out a lot.. it would be more the same as getting paid for three days, excluding tips he might receive from customers..
The two of them got in the vehicle with Keith sitting in the back, relaxing as he wondered about when his car would be found..
The ride was quiet with the taxi driver trying to be respectful, but mostly being tired.. just before they would arrive at his house Keith pierced the silents with his words..
"What's your name?"
"Huh?" The driver seemed somewhat surprised at the sudden question.
"I need to know who drove me to pay you.." Keith didn't have the money in hand to pay for him, so he would just deposit it into his account through the company..
"Oh right, my name is David." A last name was properly not needed as their id was shown on the database of the company..
"Alright, have a nice night David." Keith waved the guy goodbye as he strolled to his house
Looking at the exterior he could tell that some members of the lost had been by.. some beers and cans of gratify were left behind… he would like to stop them, but getting into conflict with the lost would be foolish…
He entered the building, locking the door behind him as he grabbed a beer from the fridge before climbing the stairs to his bedroom…
…
His alarm woke him up the next day, alerting him of the cars he needed to move soon… grabbing his phone Keith send a final message to the three confirming that the time was still on and to meet him there..
If they were lucky then no one would stop them on their way there..
Getting in the last car Keith shot out of his garage letting the door close automatically after he had let, the final car was a beauty, he didn't much like the colour, but had decided not to change anything before they would sell it as complications could arise from Keith modifying it..
While he was driving he noticed that there seemed to be more lost mc members about than normal, they didn't seem to be doing much other than wait at cross sections for something to appear..
Some stared at the car he was driving, it gave a weird feeling, but could be seen as natural due to the kind of car he was in.. Keith just decided to keep a eye out for them, as if they caused problems in the area then cops would shop up and it would only take one cop to recognise any of the stolen vehicles on the truck for them to be busted..
Arriving at the site Keith found that Trevor was already there with the truck still filling up the last couple of cars.. Keith honked his horn, alerting Trevor of his arrival..
"Haha Keith, you made it.. help me with this shit will you!" Trevor seemed to be his normal crazy self, likely looking forward to their pay check..
Keith drove the car onto the back of the truck, sliding it nicely between the support beams that were holding up the cars above him, stepping out of the car, Keith secured it tightly against the bed.. once he was done Trevor had gotten up with the next car..
They repeated the process one more time, before Franklin arrived..
"Franklin, nice of you to make it." He was barely on time, seemingly a bit tired as his eyes were sunken in from not enough sleep..
"Yeah yeah… lets just get this going dog.." His speech slurred a bit as he talked..
"You must be really tired Frankie ey.." Trevor walked up to Franklin slapping him on the back..
"Was busy with something, so could get any sleep.."
"Leave the poor bloke alone T, we better get a move on.." Keith could see some bickers in the distance, alarming him a little..
They seemed to be literally everywhere Keith went, causing his suspicion to grow..
The lost mc had many members, but even they didn't have enough in the city to get them on every corner, not to mention them invading other territories to do so..
Trevor got in the driver seat with Keith sitting in the middle and Franklin in the far right.. space didn't seem as abundant as it first appeared with each of them almost touching shoulders with one another..
Trevor turned on the radio along with the engine, letting some country music fill the cabin as he started moving.. "You going to drive all the way T, or do you want to switch up after a while.."
Keith was already getting somewhat bored.. he didn't dislike the music, but had nothing to do but enjoy the view..
"I can drive four hours without a problem, why don't you just relax as I bring in the money.."
"Four hours.. man imma catch up some sleep if you don't mind.." Franklin decided to sleep, getting convertible in the corner, as Keith turned down the volume on the radio..
"So have you heard anything from Michael lately?" after a while of driving Keith just decided to ask, they were nearing the city boundary and would soon be going down the highway without a problem, Trevor had decided on driving trough the countryside instead of following the road planner and going alongside the shoreline..
"Why you ask…" Trevor focused on the road ahead on him, whilst tapping the steering wheel with his fingers..
"Well I contacted the three of you, but Michael didn't even look at the text I send him.." Keith turned of the radio, as he looked at the road ahead of them..
"Lets just say he will be uncontactable for the remaining future.." his words were ambiguous, but clearly showed his knowledge of something..
"What did you do?" Keith knew enough of Michael and Trevor to know that they had a past together that went south.. he didn't know how it went south, but that didn't concern him.. what did concern him is a missing crew member right before they were about to hit the one of the biggest career defining moments of their life's..
"I didn't do shit! Michael made his choice.. he is dead for all I care.." Trevor was as sporadic as ever, but his words concerned Keith a great deal..
"So you don't know if he is dead?" If Michael was then problems would arise in the group..
Trevor paused for a while but needed while speaking. "Its unconfirmed.."
"Why didn't you say it earlier.." Keith grabbed his phone texting Lester while hearing out Trevor..
"Because he betrayed me! He betrayed my trust and our friendship… he betrayed brad and ran off with the FIB after.." he had heard of Brad before, a former crew mate of them that was in jail, Keith also knew of the existing connection to the FIB that Michael had, but neither of them were explained to him before.
"Let me just get this straight… He betrayed you and brad and left with the FIB… to do what.."
"I don't know.." His answer exasperated Keith…
"So what do we do with the crew.." He searched for answers, if he was dead then what were Trevor's plans
"He was retiring either way.. we can just get someone trough Lester.." His words contained many doubts, but he had a resolved look on his face, clearly showing that this was the path he chose..
"You know that is untrue.." Michael was a pro, his shooting was on point and getting someone just nearly as good at him would be difficult.
"So what.. you are going to save him.. get revenge.. I don't care about Michael any more… but if you want to go and save him, than go right ahead!" The screaming caused Franklin to stir, not quite waking him up just yet..
"Lets talk about this after the job.. ill contact Lester and we can find Michael.." Keith lowered his tone a lot, trying to stay reasonable with Trevor before anything went wrong..
"He is dead to me.." Trevor's words were low, but anger coated his voice..
"I understand, but that doesn't mean he has to die.." Trevor slammed the steering wheel with one of his hands in anger in response to Keiths words…
"Fine.. after we get paid." Trevor agreed to give some information to find the whereabouts of Michael after they finished this.. that paired with Lester searching for him meant that they would likely find him before Keith could find his car..
