Unlike the other Uventus players, Jason actually wanted a free trip to Asia because he was feeling nostalgic and wanted to visit one of the countries where he played football in his previous life.
And unlike most of the players in the room, he was broke.
Okay, maybe broke wasn't the right word, considering he had a Ferrari.
However, Jason was the player with the least salary in the room, just about 15k Euros, and even that was being double-taxed by Italy and Uncle Sam, respectively.
Knowing the good ol' IRS, Jason wouldn't dare infringe on his taxes.
Not paying taxes in Italy would also land him in a tax fraud case, so at the end of the day, he was usually only left with about 5k Euros after paying all his taxes and other obligations.
Luckily he wasn't paying rent or any other bills, otherwise, he really wouldn't be able to survive.
