Chapter 123: Age Of Leviathan Part 5

Later that very night in a mansion in manhattan. Arias was walking through a luxurious hall adorned with many paintings. Ahead of him was a pretty woman dressed in formal attire leading the way.

As they made their way through the halls, Arias shifted his gaze around and showed a small smile but said nothing. Soon they came to a stop at the end of the hall, where two large well crafted doors stood.

"He's waiting for you inside." The woman stated before gesturing for him to enter.

Arias simply gave her a nod and opened one of the doors before walking in. Inside he found a large open study. Neatly spaced and decorated with a large desk at the center.

Arias casually walked in and his attention was immediately focused on the large desk. A man was seated behind the desk and showed a bright smile as soon as Arias entered the room.

"Welcome Mr.Adriel, I'm glad you accepted my invitation." The man said politely before standing up and extending a handshake.

"I didn't accept anything, I'm simply curious to hear what you have to say. We're both busy men so skip the pleasantries and get to the point Magneto". Although Arias spoke in a calm tone, his words left no room for refusal.

"Haha but of course, I was just getting to that" Magneto could only let out a nervous chuckle and agree with Arias before clearing his throat and proceeding on.

"I'm sure you've heard of the vaccine that can turn mutants back into humans, yes? So I'm sure you also agree that such a product is simply a plot to control people like ourselves".

"The people have been made to believe mutants are nothing but a plague to society and that the vaccine can change that for the better but I largely disagree...and I'm sure you do as well."

"I too have established my very own organization composed of many capable mutants...we've tried our best to stop the production of the vaccine by raiding facilities but its yielded no proper results...however we have recently discovered that the vaccine was actually derived from a mutant who has the ability to nullify other mutants powers..."

"So the plan is simple, to attack the facility where this mutant is being held and end his life...destroying the vaccines can follow. But to guarantee success in this plan, I'll require your assistance. What do you say" Magneto passionately explained before turning to Arias and awaiting his response.

"I'll help but not directly. When you decide on a time to attack, my organization will buy you 1 hour in which no one will be None the wiser of your attack taking place. That should suffice, yes?" Arias asked and Magneto showed a smile and nodded.

"1 hour is more than enough." Magneto replied unable to hide his excitement in his voice despite speaking calmly.

"Then we have nothing more to discuss. I look forward to seeing you succeed..." Arias stated in his usual tone before a blanket of black smoke engulfed him in an instant and he vanished from the scene.

"He's even more intimidating in person" Magneto muttered as he let out a loud sigh of relief.

Meanwhile Arias had already returned to a hall inside the floating mega city.

"Took you long enough."

Those were the first words Arias heard upon arriving. When he turned to the source, he found Dr. Veritas leaning against the door leading to her lab with her arms crossed.

"I had something minor to take care off" Arias replied as he walked over to her and pulled her into his embrace.

"One of these days I won't let you have you way" Dr. Veritas threatened with a frown but Arias simply embraced her tighter.

"I like it when you struggle." Arias replied causing Dr.Veritas to blush slightly.

"*ahem* Anyway, as to what you asked me to do, it is done. More and more mutants are getting screened for residency on this island. I've also compiled a list of how many are undercover for governments and other organizations. Quite a few of those with varying ages." Dr. Veritas explained before handing Arias a data pad.

"I see. Seems they're really going all out against me. First all the nations agree to forming a team of some of the most powerful mutants to attack me, then they also send people to infiltrate my own city....it seems I'm being looked down upon quite a bit." Arias assessed while Shay quietly observed while still in his embrace.

"Good work, you go rest for a few days. That's an order" Arias instructed while stroking her hair and looking into her eyes. Shay seemed unhappy but didn't disagree to getting rest and so she simply gave a nod.

"What about the spies? I'll need to make sure they're taken care of first." Shay quickly added but Arias shook his head before giving her a kiss.

"I said go rest. Leave everything to me." Arias replied in a domineering tone. Shay could only lower her head and blush before leaving the scene with a small smile on her face.

Once Arias was alone, he glanced at the data pad for a moment before giving a nod.

"Kara"

"Raven"

Arias lifted his hand close and called out those names into his ring. In no time at all, a sonic boom was heard and Kara appeared out of nowhere right beside Arias.

At around the same time, a black void appeared on a nearby wall which Raven hovered out of.

"We have intruders working for governments and other organizations pretending to be mutants seeking refuge in our city. I need you two to eliminate them all. However...should anyone last 5 seconds facing either of you at full strength then capture them alive."

Arias explained without any greetings being exchanged. He instead handed each of them a data pad with a list of people of varying ages. From children to elderly.

"Will there be a problem?" Arias asked and looked at them both.

"No. I'll handle the ones in the eastern area" Raven replied.

"I'll eliminate the ones in the west without fail Sir" Kara replied with equal confidence and without hesitation.

"The more I see your progress...the more proud I become." Arias praised as he caressed them both on the face. Their earlier serious expressions vanished completely as they melted from his touch and words.

"I-I'm just doing my part Sir...." Kara shyly replied while avoiding his gaze.

"Whatever..." Raven muttered while keeping her head low.

After replying the two left as quickly as they had come leaving Arias smirking while looking at his hand.

'These two are soon to become essential parts of the organization....but this is only the start, A gathering of the most powerful beings in one place...for them...then I can finally...' Arias closed his fist and showed a genuine smile for a split second before returning to his usual cold and domineering demeanor.
