Chapter 30

We are at an arcade, and its huge. I feel him pulling on my hand, he's pulling me in. We walk in and find an amazing arcade, there is music playing, the lights are dimmed, the floor has a light up pattern across it, there is multicolor lights flashing across the room, and so many games. "WOW, this place is amazing." I yelled.

"hmm, don't you have arcades where your from." He turned to me and said.

"Well kind of, there was a store back home that had some arcade games in the back corner. They also had one of those claw machines, I never won anything though." I said in disappointment.

"Why don't you try now? There are all kinds of claw machines here."

"Well ya but I don't have money for that. I just have emergency money, until I find a job."

"sigh", " Don't worry about it, I'll cover you. Just treat me when you get a job."

"Really, thanks I owe you one." I exclaimed.

I scurried around the arcade looking at all the claw machines, they had all kinds, some with electronics, big stuffed animals, little stuffed animals, and candy. After running around looking for about 10 minutes, I found this claw machine with the cutest little teddy bears with cute little white dresses on and red bow on there ear. They are so cute, and the whole machine has the same prize so it should be easy for me to win one.

Ken kind of slowly followed me around, can't really blame him though I was running around like a crazy person. He came over behind me as I stared into the glass of the game at the bears, "here, give it a try." he handed me a small cup filled with gaming token.

"Thanks." The first try I wasn't able to pick one up, but after that I was able to grab them, I just couldn't get them to stay in the claw. But some how its still fun.

I turned over to see ken next to me on his phone. He doesn't have a cup though, did he only get me tokens. WAIT, is this a date, we are alone together, at a place where people often go on dates, he's being considerate and nice to me, and he paid for my stuff. Oh my god, this is my first date, am I doing it right? Uh Oh I feel myself turning red again, my hearts racing, OH GOD what do I do? I turned my gaze back to the game, "ok lets just try to focus on the game." I thought and hopefully my heart will calm down.
