Chapter 18

It has been three days since the trip started.

Laila was helping out in packing after the break they were having. And until now, she was still yet to see the prince ever since that night.

She only knows he is in the far back of the caravan group with Ahmed, making sure no one or anything is left behind, while also hunting for the monsters that pick up the scent of the group.

While the second general in the same rank as Ahmed, whom now she knows as Ayman, was leading the trip hunting the few monsters ahead.

Laila hasn't seen a true monster other than the serpent in the castle, and the meat from this trip's hunts. The soldiers always made sure the travelers and tribe were too far from any confrontation which led to everything being peaceful.

She had to say that this trip has been a bit lonely without Aaliyah's chatter.

But it seems like she was busy in the front.

Laila could only sigh and tighten the veil on her beautiful face before following the crowd.
