A bit later after plunging Lilly into the depths of hell, the other four just went and ate around a random table they found.
"Who cooked this?"
"Me. Got a problem?" Said V.
"Figured."
"You little shit! Go ahead and cook for yourself, you bastard!"
"Next time. I will."
As the other two began bickering, Morgan looked at Chrys while they both silently ate their share.
"Chrys, was all of that necessary?"
"Yes. The amount of bells are perfect."
"I'm not talking about that. You know exactly what I'm talking about."
"You know me too well."
"..."
"Well. I'll go get her share then." Said Chrys as he took a bowl of food before walking away. Leaving Morgan to only stare at him.
With the bowl in hand, Chrys pushed open a door before being greeted by the harmonic chimes of a hundred or so bells.
In the middle of the room, surrounded by the contraption that makes the bells ring, Lilly sat tied up to her chair wearing a blank face, devoid of any life.
"You enjoying your time?"
"My ears...."
"What about your ears?"
"I think they have fallen off."
"Don't worry. I can reattach them even if you rip them off."
Lilly look at him with lifeless eyes as she said to him. "You are the worst person I have ever met."
"That might be true, but the world is larger than just your house, so you never know."
"No, I know for sure you are the worst."
"Well, whatever keeps you sane. Here, have some food." Said Chrys before a stone table rose from the ground before Lilly.
"How am I going to eat?... I'm not letting you anywhere near my mouth."
"Hold on. I'll loosen your ropes."
Almost immediately after Chrys set her free, Lilly immediately went for Chrys' head with a headbut, only to be blocked by his golden aura.
"Ouch!!!" Lilly held her head as she backed away from Chrys.
Not even a little bit unfazed, Chrys said. "You done yet?"
With absolute anger and madness in her tires eyes, Lilly grabbed the chair she was tied onto and lifted it up her head.
Chrys stood nonchalantly as Lilly aimed the chair at him. But after a few seconds, Lilly turned around and began charging the other way.
"Aaaaaah!"
Noticing that Lilly was heading for the bells, Chrys made the floor make a little bump ahead of Lilly, tripping her and causing her to face plant onto the ground.
With the chair and her on the ground, Chrys made the floor shift towards him, delivering both of them towards him.
"Raaagh!" Lilly began groaning on the ground, her voice filled with rage and frustration.
After standing the chair next to the table holding the bowl of food, Chrys then lifted the floor underneath Lilly. Maneuvering it in such a way that Lilly was now standing up right.
Turning around, Lilly stared at him whiel harboring death in her eyes. Meanwhile, Chrys just casually pointed at the chair.
"Hmph!" After giving him a cold snort, Lilly willingly sat on the chair as she picked up her bowl.
After taking a single bite, Lilly placed the bowl down before asking. "Who cooked this?"
"V. Not like you know him."
"Tell him it taste like a random bunch of ingredients thrown into a pot, hoping it would come out great."
"Funny you say that since that's exactly what he did."
"Hmph! I have already ate dinner. Even if I hadn't, I would've lost it after eating that."
"Okay, sheltered girl."
After taking the bowl away and tying Lilly back up, Chrys said. "Before I go, do you mind telling us where she is now?"
"I hope you get food poisoning."
"I'll take that as a no. Well, looks like you'll be staying like this for the night. Tied up to a chair, in the middle of a cold night, accompanied by the ringing of bells. Hope you have a good night."
With an annoyed expression, Lilly replied. "Oh, I will. I quite enjoy the bells actually. It's quite harmonious." Before releasing a wide grin.
"Oh? Is that so." Chrys said before extending his hand to the side.
Then, the ground shot up right into his grasp before snapping at the base, forming sort of bat.
After seeing this, Lilly looked at him in defiance, not even showing a hint of fear.
To which Chrys replied by forming a mischievious smile. He then ran around the room, tapping the every bells with his bat, causing them to ring at very different times. Taking the harmonious chimes earlier to just a chaotic mess of sounds.
"Hahahaha!"
A vein pooped on Lilly face as Chrys continued to mess with the bells while laughing like a maniac setting the world on fire.
After ringing all of the bells, Chrys threw this stone bat to the side as he bowed before Lilly saying. "And done. I hope you like my composition, for you will experience a once in a lifetime encour. I hope you enjoy yourself."
With her face fumming with anger, Lilly began rocking her chair intensively. The chair eventually broke the rocks keeping it in place, knocking her down onto the ground.
"Can you please not do that? Don't make me let you sleep on this cold floor."
With her face still fumming with anger, Lilly yelled. "I'd like to see you try, you bastard!!!"
And with a swift motion, Chrys separated the chair and Lilly, who was left laying on the floor with the loose ropes still around her body.
Before she could do anything, the floor encassed her body, only leaving her face exposed. She then began screaming. "You absolute monster!!! You are worst!!!"
"And so I've been told. Well, hope you like sleeping on the floor, Bye~!" Chrys then left the room, laughing maniacally, which infuriated Lilly even more.
When Lilly tried to close her tired eyes, her mind was filled with the ringing of the bells, the cold hard floor, and the laughing face of Chrys. Lilly gritted her teeth with sheer anger in her face.
A bit later, with Lilly still wide awake even though it was past midnight, Chrys came back into the room saying. "I have been thinking about what I did quite a lot. Give or take five seconds."
"I know I was mean so, here. I brought you a pillow."
"I don't want anything out of you, you pinnacle of evil!" Said Lilly.
"Aww, don't say that, you'll make me feel bad. Oops! Accidentally dropped the pillow on your face. How clumsy of me."
As he removed the pillow off of her face, which was filled with annoyance and sheer anger, Chrys tucked the pillow underneath Lilly' head before leaving once more like before, with the maniacal laugh and everything.
And once more, Lilly was left there. Only accompanied by the chaotic ringing of bells, on the cold hard floor, but atleast she now has a pillow under her head, but it did not make her mood any better.
Meanwhile, in the other room, the moment Chrys went through the doors, he was met with Morgan, who was just staring at him blankly while holding her bow in her hand.
With a cheeky smile, Chrys asked. "That wasn't your pillow, right?"
"No."
"All is good then."
Before Morgan can continue speaking, V and Set approached the door, causing Chrys to ask. "Where are you two going?"
Holding up six bells in their hands, Set said. "We forgot these."
"What are you going to do with them?"
"Put them with the rest, you dumbass." V replied.
"Oh, I taught you were going to dance around her while ringing bells with both hands."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"That too."
"Can I help?"
"Sure."
And with that, armed with bells on both hands, the three boys left. Leaving Morgan to just stand there, staring emotionlessly at an empty space.
And a few seconds later, the chaotic ringing of bells reached her ears, almost like someone opened the gates of hell.
But after a few seconds, the bells stopped completely. And few more later, the three came back.
As Set and V left to go to sleep, Morgan asked Chrys. "What happened? Why did the bells stop?"
"Well, she somehow fell asleep. We decided to let her be for now."
With a completely emotionless expression, Morgan continued. "Your too nice to her."
"Am I? You know if you didn't stop me before, she would have lost some body parts."
"And you also know that you can stop anytime."
"Well, that's the hard part, isn't it?"
Without even a hint of emotion on her face, Morgan continued. "If you really wanted to break her quickly, you could have simply taken her senses away. A blindfold would suffice, or so my father said."
"I'm not really trying to break her, Morgan. Her last moments atleast shouldn't be REAL torture. I'm only trying to get her emotional."
"Because once people let their emotions take over, they start to do irrational things they wouldn't normally do."
Morgan only stared at Chrys blankly after hearing what he said. And a bit later after their conversation, they all went to sleep.
Meanwhile, inside Lilly' mind, it was perfectly calm, perfectly quiet and still. Lilly felt like body was the weight of a feather, being carried by the wind.
And almost immediately, it was all shattered by the chaotic ringing of bells. Her body immediately began feeling a hundred times heavier, feeling like someone dropped a mountain on top of her.
With her eyes wide open, her body looked in place on the floor, her face showing visible tiredness, she began searching for the one who woke her up from her slumber.
And there he was, standing with an annoying grin, Chrys, her mortal enemy, who then said to her. "Wakey wakey! Rise and shine, it's already morning!"
After just a few seconds of being awake, she was already feeling her blood boil. Lilly screamed. "You absolute... MONSTER!!! You couldn't even let me sleep!!!"
"You know, you weren't supposed to sleep in the first place."
"Hahaha! Take that, you asshole!"
"Well, if you have the energy to laugh, we can start."
Chrys then made the floor that Lilly laid down upon rise up, making her stand while still being encassed in rock with her face the only thing visible.
As Chrys made a stone chair before her, which he sat down upon, Morgan also entered the room.
She just hung back to the side, so Lilly and Chrys didn't pay her that much attention.
Chrys then asked. "So, how was your sleep?"
"Die in a ditch."
"Good, good. Young girls should get properly so they don't grow up to be an ugly dumbass."
"You're the only dumbass here."
"Wow.... Set myself up for that one, didn't I?"
"Eat shit!"
"Well, back onto topic. I'll say it once more, where is your sister or do you know where her group is hiding?"
"Eat shit and die." Just as Lilly said that, she felt the atmosphere shift immediately.
The once happy teasing atmosphere that Chrys was emmiting turned into a serious and cold one.
As a nervous sweat rolled down Lilly's cheek, Chrys, without the smile he wore earlier, said in a calm, calculating voice. "So, it looks like you weren't lying earlier. Now, I'm sure off it."
Chrys then dusted his clothes, stood up from his chair, stared directly at Lilly's eyes witb his golden ones as he said in a sincere tone. "I'm sorry, Lilly. This is goodbye."
Lilly, hearing the tone in his voice, immediately knew what was going to happen. Instead of trying to resist it, she just lowered her head and hid behind her hair.
Just as Chrys was about to raise his hand towards her face, Morgan got in between the two saying. "That isn't necessary, Chrys."
Chrys then retracted his hand and just waited for Morgan without saying a word.
Seeing Chrys' actions, Morgan turned to face Lilly. She gripped her bow in her hand as she raised Lilly's face with the other, revealing Lilly's teary face.
"There's no need to cry. You will not die if you follow my intructions, got that?" Morgan said.
After a hint of reluctance, Lilly nodded.
"You are of the Oboete family, correct?"
"*nod* *nod*"
"From what I have been taught, you guys are known for your loyalty, correct?"
Lilly did not respond.
"Has the thought of killing someone you know but secretly hate ever crossed your mind?"
A familiar looking face of a man flowed through Lilly's mind before she replied by swinging her head left and right.
"Good. Now, have you ever made a promise that you broke?"
"No...."
"Have you ever heard of the word 'Tudet'?"
"Yes...."
"Do you know why they call it that?"
"No...."
"It's because the Oboete family, has always taken a promise sealed with that phrase to the death, no matter what."
"..."
"Now, I want you to do the same."
"What if I can't?"
"You can. And you will. Because if you don't you will die."
"Okay...."
"Good. Now, I want you to promise me that you will tell no one about us, is that alright?"
"Yes...."
"Good. Now, promise it to me."
"..."
"..."
"What if I go back on that promise?"
"You can't. You physically can't. My father told me that if you find someone with the name Oboete, make them swear allegance with the word 'Tudet' because they physically can't go against it. Making them the most trustworthy people in the world."
"And... what if he lied to you?"
"He never broke my trust till the end. Now, promise me. This isn't for myself, this for you own good."
After hearing her words, Lilly couldn't help but look at Chrys, who was standing still on the side. Her heart was then filled with anger which made it's way to her face.
Seeing this, Morgan tapped her in the forehead before saying. "Don't make any brash decision. Take control of your emotions. Breathe." Before taking a deep breath.
Lilly followed Morgan's lead, repeatedly breathing in and out.
Meanwhile, Chrys was just watching off to the side. He exchanged glances at Morgan's bow, Lilly's and Morgan's faces. A small genuine smile appeared on his face as he took a step back while watching.
After taking a few more deep breaths, Morgan then asked. "Are you calm now?"
"Yes." Lilly replied.
"Now, make your decision."
"Yes."
"I, Oboete Lilly, swear to keep my mouth shut and pretend to not now anything about any of you."
"Tudet."
"Tudet."
Morgan then turned to Chrys, who was still wearing that little smile, before she asked. "There's no need to trust her. Trust me instead."
With a nod, Chrys said. "Yes, I trust you, Morgan."
Morgan then faced Lilly once more, who looks all dirty and tired, before saying to her face. "Great. Now, you can go back to your home and be with you family."
As Morgan went over to Chrys, asking on how to return Lilly with the least complications.
"Hey, Lilly. You can swim, right?" Chrys asked.
"Um, yeah?"
"See, it will work. We can just drop her from upstream and just give her the alibi of jumping into a river and getting away."
"No. There's likelihood she will die in the process."
"Well, back to the drawing board then."
As Morgan and Chrys brainstormed for ideas, Lilly then asked herself. "Home... Family... They are going to send me back to them?"
Then, an image of a certain man appeared on her face, making her physically turn away.
She then thought. "Grandma. Will everything be alright once I return?"
"Will father..."
"Will Lilia be okay?"
"Am I... going to be okay?"
Lilly then bit her lip, tightly clenched her fist, and filled her eyes with courage and determination before she yelled out loud.
"I don't want to go back!"
