Becoming Chunin 2
It was a storm. Normally people would be inside, taking cover, or something of the like. Yet, if some turned their attention away from the clouds, and looked to the ground, they would see to people.
A black-haired man with blood-red pupils, he was handsome, with lines that rained from his eyes down to his face. He looked to be in his 20s. He faced off against a man who looked almost the same, the only difference being that this man had white hair, blue eyes, and no lines running down his face.
Itachi looked at his twin brother, that being me. he looked at me for some time, before looking behind me at the army which followed me, before he turned to look at the army behind himself. He looked back towards me before his mind wandered back in time... yes, it was a rainy day just like this. Back then, we still didn't know much. Who was right, who is wrong? Even now that question is hard to answer.
But it all started the day after we awakened our sharingan, well, I called my the Eyes Of Limitless, or even The Limitlessgan. Within the forest, the young 8-year-old Itachi shot towards me, chakra infused into his leg as he kicked me, just to find even with chakra, he couldn't bypass my defense.
"I gave my Kekkai Genkai the name Limitless. In the past, it was incomplete, but with awakening my eyes, it's now complete." I said with a smirk, ignoring the rain hitting our body. Itachi flipped backward, not knowing how to bypass such a Jutsu.
His 3 tomoe sharingan closely sized me up, before landing on my beautiful blue eyes, which now had 1 tomoe spinning within them. Like always, I couldn't turn my eyes on and off, it was bothersome, but I asked for this. I made my bed, and I had to sleep in it.
"That's pretty much the ultimate defense, above even the Hyuga clan jutsu," Itachi said softly while getting ready to shoot toward me. I looked at him in confusion, while suddenly looking up at the kunai falling towards me from the sky.
'He cast a small genjutsu to hide the fact he had thrown a kunai up. Nothing too big for me to notice, just small enough it slipped my sense.' I thought, impressed. The sharingan could help a person see through genjutsu, but like how normal eyes can overlook things, even the sharingan could. the same was true for my eyes, if the thing wasn't standing out or something like that, It was normal for me to overlook it if it was well hidden. I only noticed this kunai because it got too close.
I watched as the Kunai fell in front of my face, before Itachi used everything he had, shooting towards me at extreme speed, while also using the Body Flicker along with the Flying Thunder God Jutsu. With a flash, he appeared before the Kunai, his fist slamming towards my face.
My eyes narrowed for a moment as Itachi's fist stopped an inch from my nose... Itachi almost got past my technique?
"I have noticed that things that shoot towards you don't simply stop, there is more to it. Going back to the night of the 9-tail attack when you stood in front of the shock waves to protect us... that always seemed off to me. Why did just one part of the shock wave stop, while the rest kept going? Why can't the sharingan see through this trick, could it be a time remated jutsu?" Itachi asked while stepping back, leaving me to narrow my eyes while looking at him.
"I came up with 3 possible theories for your Kekkai Genkai. The first is that it simply stops anything that is considered harmful to you. But if said thing is too fast, one could bypass this jutsu as I almost did there. In other words, pure speed is a counter to your jutsu." He said while looking at his fist
"Second, you are slowing down time. As harmful things near you, they slow down. but it makes no sense since one could pull their fist in and out without feeling that effect. So maybe time only affects things going in, and not going out... but that is not right. The last time you got trapped in my paper bombs, they wouldn't have gone off if time slowed down." Itachi continued
"The most likely is a manipulation of Spacetime. It was faint, but while using the Body Flicker Jutsu, I felt something off with the space-time near you. So, how are you using space-time to do what you are doing? I can roll out time for now, and focus on space. You're somehow making the space between you and harm greater. To everyone else, space looks normal, but it's growing, just big enough to keep you out of harm's way. but there is a speed limit to this, as seen when I almost hit you... Your Kekkai Genkai is most likely a Space-Time Kekkai Genkai." Itachi said with a sure look, over 4 years he had watched me, trying to find out just what type of strange Jutsu I had. And now he was sure.
"Close," I said with a shrug, stunning Itachi. Although he looked sure, that was just an act for him to see my reaction.
"I don't increase the space between me and a target... I simply bring out the infinity all around me, into reality." I said with a shrug, confusing Itachi. Seeing that, I sighed before going into detail with my Absolute defense.
"I call it infinity. You know how no matter how much you divide a number, you will never reach 0? What I do is simply divide the distance between myself and an attack, ensuring a target never touches me, giving the illusion the target just stops. In the past, I couldn't apply it to energy, just forces and objects." I said while Itachi's eyes narrowed.
"You knew?" Itachi asked, to which I nodded lightly.
"Of course, I did, like how everyone just on instinct knows the name of their ability, I knew the capability of mine. I just kept it to myself. it would have been a pain to let others know... I don't want anyone to lust after my body. Why must I be too beautiful?" I said in unease, to which Itachi ignored while looking at me. he looked at me, but now all he saw was the illusion of Infinity.
'Infinity exists everywhere, between one and two, down to 0.0001, to 0.00002. No matter how close, the distance between him and me would not subtract but divide, making it impossible to reach him... no, there is a way. Speed... and genjutsu.' Itachi thought. That last genjutsu wasn't cast upon me but on a target.
There were 2 main types of genjutsu, one that could make the world or land around you look different. Lastly, the genjutsu which needs you to send chakra into a target body, and take control of their senses.
"Let's call it an end today," Itachi said calmly, he had to do some training. I just nodded while watching him leave, he had yet to master his Sharingan, and I had yet to master my Eyes Of Limitless.
I watched Itachi turn and disappear, leaving me to think back to my wish with the old man after my death.
"Where am I?" I said with a frown while looking at the majestic castle which was made out of white and gold. it looked so pure and clean, I felt like a sinner just stepping into this clean place. But after a moment, I shrugged off such feelings.
"You are in my domain child," A voice that sounded like the roar of a thousand lions, yet also held the warmth of a mother sounded. I looked towards the throne, and there a man with a godly beard sat, looking at me with a kind and warm smile.
"You saved my daughter, she had always wanted to see what it was like to be mortal. She didn't know to look both ways before crossing the streets, thank you for saving her life, she only had one chance to go down there as a mortal, and you protected it." He said gratefully, to which I frowned. Seeing that, the god laughed, shaking the throne room.
"No need to worry, I know your body moved on its own. You just saw a little girl in trouble, and on instinct, you moved to push her out of the way without thinking it through. But I don't care for that, All that matters is that you saved my daughter, and even lost your life while doing so. If I just ignored your sacrifice, it would not sit right with me or my daughter. So, I will give you 3 wishes. It would be 5 if you meant it," He said to which I sighed in relief. I was scared he would just slap me down to hell or something,
"Well, in that case... can I first know the type of wishes I could get? Will I also be transmigrated or reincarnated? I also want to know where and when, can I pick where without costing me a wish?" I asked softly.
"You can wish for just about anything, so long as it is in reason. You can pick either to reincarnate or transmigrate into whatever world you want and whenever you want. but you can't pick wherever." He said to which I nodded lightly, and fell into deep thought.
I had to save the wishes, but how should I go about this? I was thinking of Dragon Ball, if I reincarnated there as Goten, I was sure I would have a smooth future seeing how much of a genius Goten was. But Goten's mother was a pain, although she was a good mother, she was hard to deal with. Dragon Ball might be too dangerous, would the angels be cool with a new soul just popping up in their universe?
HunterxHunter wasn't fun enough, Bleach... too annoying. There was just too much hax ability in that verse. I thought for some time, before asking another question.
"Can I pick who I would be reincarnated as?" I asked to which God nodded lightly,
"Okay, then I will first pick my next life reincarnation status. I want to be reborn as Itachi's twin brother." I said to which he nodded lightly, I didn't pick to be Itachi, as I didn't want to be someone else.
"as for my first wish, I want to have something like the 6 eyes, which will come pre-installed with the Limitless techniques, which would allow me to use Infinity at a young age," I said with a smile, to which God smirked.
"Let's see... you want to be Itachi brother, and with that wish you hope to suck up a bit of Itachi talent, while at the same time getting the Uchiha bloodline. You pretty much got two wishes without using up any wishes. Then you go on to instead of simply saying to give you the 6 eyes, you want something like the 6 eyes which comes preinstalled with the Limitless. trying to add two wishes into one?" He asked, to which I awkwardly smiled, not knowing what to say.
"Well, I can do that, but you will not survive the birth of your sharingan." He said lightly, confusing me lightly.
"The power of the Sharingan, fused with the power of the 6 eyes would birth something too powerful for the mortal mind to handle. So, instead, I can give you the weakened 6 eyes. It would have most of the 6 eyes abilities, such as energy control on the atomic level, the ability to see energy, and lastly, I will even give you the Limitless with it. Drawbacks would be, that Infinity would not affect chakra. stuff like fire balls, shock waves, and other such things can be blocked, but pure chakra would pass through, that is until you awakened your sharingan." He said to which I frowned lightly, but I nodded in the end.
"When you awaken the sharingan, the fusion between the 6 eyes and Sharingan shall begin. with just the 1 Tomoe Sharingan, you should rival a powerful 3 Tomoe Sharingan. As for if your mind can handle its full might by the time you reach the 3 tomoe sharingan, that's up to you." He said to which I thought for a moment,
"I want to change the Limitless a bit. It's all math based right? the first brings Infinity out into reality, making something unable to reach said person. The second takes that infinity and strengthens it, creating a negative space quickly the world tries to fill up, and so on and so. I want to be able to control the Infinity I bring into reality." I said making God's eyebrow raise, but he nodded lightly.
"My last wish, the power to adapt," I said with a smile, to which God shook his head.
"With all of the wishes you just made, do you think the power to adapt could also be included? The value of your wishes would be too high." He said making me frown slightly, before speaking.
"Then strengthen my ability to adapt to things by a few hundreds of times over. I also want to link this with my eyes, so it could grow stronger with my eyes. This way, I could adapt to the changes my eyes bring to my mind, while at the same time, it gives me the chance to adapt to anything given enough time." I said to which God snorted lightly.
"I will increase it by 2 times, the improvement afterward would determine how powerful your eyes would be... you are a smart kid, so I will give you a small secret about the MS. The way you awaken your Sharinagn and MS determines your ability. For example, Sasuke awakened his Sharingan during the night Itachi slaughtered his clan, where his burning hatred for Itachi was born. His MS awakened when he found out the truth about Itachi. One is where he had hatred, another is when he found out he had been under the control of someone else all that time. In other words, he gained the power to turn that hatred into power, control it, and aim it towards his enemy." He said leaving me stunned for a moment, before nodding in understanding at what he meant.
I had to make sure I awakened my Sharingan and MS through a condition that I was okay with, and would be sure myMS ability worked together or even helped evolve my wishes.
"Lastly, your power to manipulate Infinity will come when you awaken your MS. Until then, you will have the Limitless to play with." He said to which I nodded greatfully.
{Now, I need ideas with cool ways to manipulate infinity. I have a few, but not as many as I wish. Also, I have a question, Should Dust Release bypass Infinity? Dust Release affects things on the sub-atomic level, which is far smaller compared to the atomic level at which MC controls chakra. I'm trying to plan out their fight, but I can't do more without being sure.}
