32 Shrine Armor

Haze won three matches in a row in <combat mode> after upgrading Zack.

He had one more match to win to complete a ten win streak and get the three extra <god credits>. The only problem was he couldn't choose his next opponent. He had to verse a <god smith> with nine wins in a row as well.

"They can't make anything easy!" Haze complained the next morning after doing some training with Mace. "Are you still sleeping Rail?"

"I'm awake," Rail yawned and walked in with Haze's long sleeve shirt that extended well past her hands and flapped as she walked. "I heard you up last night talking to yourself. Do you want me to force you to go to sleep?"

"I slept," Haze said as she pushed back his hair, and pointed at the computer, "I just woke up early and started planning some things for the day."

"He's been up since five," Mack put down a plate of breakfast food and fixed the white chef hat on his head, "What? I found it in one of the drawers, and decided to wear it so Haze would like breakfast more."

"What did you go to jail for anyway?" Rail said as she gently nudged Haze's shoulder, "Why would you be chosen to be a [Ghost Controller]?"

"My mother tried to kill me when I was young multiple times so I finally offed her. My sister and I ran away, and I killed soemone who tried to hurt her."

"That sucks," Rail said as she scoffed and looked at the food, "You want to tell me the truth, or you sticking with that story?"

"Sticking with it. What you want me to do Haze?" Mack sighed and looked over at his laptop, "You want me to pass you my micro computer, or you not interested in me yet?"

"Wait, can I upgrade my gods with your software right? Is there any useful ability?"

"Of course, he's useful," Rail smiled and jumped on Haze's lap as usual, closing her eyes and yawning on his lap. "Load it up and hand it over to Haze, Mack."

"You're not Haze. I'm only doing this because you're small like me." Mack took a second to get the micro laptop and hand it to Haze, "Sometimes, good things come in small packages."

"I'm tired." Zack walked into the room and stared up at the television before re he shook his head, "I won't watch television today. I stayed up all night and finished the first season of Burn that Witch. I heard Calli all night working on something ."

"Just come take a look Zack," Haze opened up [Ghost Protocol] and went to <upgrades>, it was the same as [Angel Load].

The costs for each skill were 5 god credits, but the good news was he could select 3 gods who wanted to use the skill at once. It also seemed he could transfer the skill to other gods without having to pay an extra credit. If, for instance, he wanted to switch a skill like [Ghost Step] to someone like Rail.

"So, what do you think" Haze looked at the three techniques he could teach them. [Ghost Step], [Shrine Armor], or [Double Switch]. They were all five god credits, and each had a useful technique. [Ghost Step] allowed a god to switch place with its shadow. [Shrine Armor] boosted someones strength by one extra level for a minute, and [Double Switch] was a skill that let two gods that were less than three meters apart change places.

"I like [Ghost Step]." Zack said as he pointed a the background of a large mouth swallowing a small girl. "However, who made this image. It's so bad."

"It's not supposed to be pretty,"Mack said as he took a deep breath, "Anyways, just remember that you can only use three alternative programs at once on a single god."

"It's so you're not too strong," Rail gently shoved Mack so she could get on Haze's lap as he sat on the chair. "So what are you going to select?"

"I'm going with [Ghost Step]," Haze took a deep breath and spent the five god credits. A large series of hands and feet ran across the screen before a beep came on <god smith> under the domain window.

[You have gained access to the skill [Ghost Step] in your skill panel. Take note you can only assign these skills to your gods only and no one in [Fantasy Beach]]

"Not surprised," Haze dragged the cursor over and put the skill on Zack, Lapis, and Rail. "Heh,you guys ready to go for the tenth and final match?"

"You got a message," Zack said as he finally picked up the remote, "Sorry, I can't resist. Time to start season two of Burn that Witch."

[You received a message from [Eternal Fantasy]... Would you like to accept?]

[The message has been marked as extremely important...]

"You can mark messages?" Haze sighed and clicked on the message. "Let's hope she didn't do anything stupid... I was hoping to ask her to help with [Joke Land]!"

"She's not dumb... She's too smart to make mistakes like that girl from Burn that Witch" Zack said as he turned on the television, "Let's see what the next episode is about..."
