Godslayer In the Comic World

Ang suddenly finds himself transported to the "Simple and Honest Gotham City," making a cameo as the "Money-Controlling Abilities Holder." If his petty cash has nothing to do with Batman, Bruce Wayne, this would be quite wonderful. Unfortunately, this is the crisis center of the Marvel and DC universes, a terrifying world where there's no such thing as a free lunch. Ang never expected that after bringing home a magical Wonder Woman, he would gain the power template of the "Godslayer." My goodness! In this world where true gods are everywhere, system, what are you even thinking? https://www.patreon.com/Godslayer_7210

Chapter 11: The Man You Can't Have

On that morning, Ang disbanded most of the security personnel. Originally hired on a daily basis with temporary contracts, they had received their pay and had nothing more to say. However, the gaze of the bodyguards who continued to work in security, like Louis and the others, looked strange at Ang. Could you say it was a coincidence? The spies who had caused trouble the night before hummed and murmured all night. It was evident that Ang had worn them out. On the other side, were the Black Mask forces wiped out? No matter how much doubt there was, it could only fester inside. Whether it was Batman happening to catch the Black Mask forces assembling by the beach or the Joker gang blowing up the Black Mask's lair and killing the Black Mask himself, these were not things that a few small bodyguards like them could manage. All that could be said was—Justice might be late, but it always stands on the side of the victor.

Ang acted as if nothing had happened, continuing to play the role of a playboy as always. And his new favorite, without a doubt, was the mysterious Miss Diana Prince. As expected, Wonder Woman was very resistant to cumbersome clothing. After waking up in the morning, she finally settled on a set of neutral gray women's suits. A gray round hat, underneath a pristine fitted white shirt, a well-fastened belt highlighting her athletic figure, and snug-fitting trousers that fully satisfied her requirement for "easy combat," seamlessly blending into modern society. Looking at the spirited Diana, Ang's exhaustion from cultivating the previous night vanished.

"You look really beautiful in this outfit."

"Thank you." Diana gracefully accepted Ang's compliment and then got straight to the point: "You did well last night."

"You can sense it?" Ang asked in a low voice.

"Of course. That evil and corrupted soul made me sick."

Ang slightly bowed, his gratitude evident in his silence. "Thank you for your support. Besides understanding things in this world, I am even more eager to know as soon as possible what kinds of beings could help me."

Ang had a slightly bitter expression. Sis! You are V herself, ahem, GodKiller, taking down Ares. Who else do you need help from? Can't you handle this on your own?

Ang couldn't say this out loud. He wasn't sure if the knowledge from his memories perfectly matched this chaotic merged world. In fact, when it came to collecting information on various heroes, Batman definitely had the most comprehensive data. Batman would jot down the characteristics and weaknesses of all the heroes in his little notebook; otherwise, there wouldn't have been later feats like challenging Superman with just a "normal human body."

Ang didn't have a database at his disposal, but that didn't stop him from using the computer's web search engine to find news and present them to Wonder Woman. "There are many extraordinary beings in this world. There are evil ones, as well as relatively neutral or justice-aligned superheroes. I'm not entirely sure how strong your world's God of War, Ares, is."

"At the very least, he should be much stronger than me." Wonder Woman raised her attractive eyebrows. "In fact, no one on Themyscira has seen the current Ares. I was sent here by my mother, and I trust her judgment."

"Before that, can you demonstrate your strength?"

"Of course!"

The two went to the underground training arena, where Wonder Woman donned her combat gear with an Amazonian flair, consisting of a leather bodice paired with a brass breastplate. Ang didn't hold any weapons, not for show, but because he genuinely didn't know what equipment he had that could stand against this formidable woman. Let's not even mention the Lasso of Truth. Her Bracelets of Submission were made from the scraps of Zeus's Aegis, capable of automatically attracting firepower and generating force-field shields, enough to withstand even Superman's heat vision.

What else? In her right hand, she held the Sword of Hephaestus, while her left hand gripped the Power Shield made from Amazonian mystery alloy. She wore the Starry Tiara on her head, which doubled as a boomerang representing her royal identity. This was just what she had taken out for now. Not to mention the incredible things she would acquire from history, like the Golden Eagle Battle Armor or the Hermes Sandals.

The only thing Ang could show was the Black Mask that had an impact on the cityscape. Rather than displeasing her, he thought it better to adjust his attitude and witness the scene that was about to unfold as a mere mortal.

Seeing Ang about ten meters away, striking a simple boxing stance, Wonder Woman didn't get irritated. She slightly bent her legs, and in the next moment, a burst of smoke and dust erupted from the floor she had been standing on. Until the next instant, that elegant and graceful figure had traversed a distance greater than that of a classroom, slamming the splendid round shield down.

Ridiculously fast! Fast to the point of teleportation! A strike completely beyond Ang's dynamic visual limits. Only when the shield was just five centimeters away from hitting his head did Wonder Woman transition her movement from extreme motion to absolute stillness. The shield, which had come perilously close to his face, gave Ang an overwhelmingly terrifying sense of oppression! And yet, just as she froze in place as if she had pressed the "pause" button on her actions, the resounding boom of her feet slamming the ground erupted belatedly and wormed its way into Ang's ears.

In Ang's trembling pupils, astonishment was written all over them. What's even more frustrating for him was that even if he had preemptively opened the system and had it assess Wonder Woman's combat strength, the final result was a series of question marks. For information far beyond his sensory capabilities, the system tailored to his physical condition was incapable of processing it, as he discovered once more.

"Phew—" Ang let out a deep sigh.

"Frightened? If that's the case, I apologize."

"No, I just received a bit of shock from the Amazons."

The scenes from the movies before the transmigration were utterly unreliable. Apart from the actors looking exactly like this world's superheroes, their power levels were entirely worthless for reference.

Wonder Woman laughed. Back in the living room, Ang turned on the computer and showed Wonder Woman some target individuals. He was well aware that Wonder Woman was not someone he could control or manipulate. She was highly intelligent, and once she realized he was stalling or attempting to exploit her, it would only strain their relationship further. Instead of that, he might as well let go.

"If you happen to encounter these individuals, you'll probably get along with most of them. But the ones who might genuinely help you are probably these two." The computer screen was projected onto the home theater screen.

The displayed figures were two towering figures. "They are Green Lantern and Superman! Green Lantern wields his Power Ring to showcase incredible strength. As for Superman, we suspect he's not from Earth because he's so powerful."

Indeed, Wonder Woman wasn't too interested in the mysterious Green Lantern and was instead captivated by the flying and invincible Superman displayed on the screen. Seemingly a god but not a god! "How can I find him?"

Ang took a deep breath. "Don't force me to tell you. I can only say that he's in the neighboring city of New York. Because he... is very unwilling to have his life disturbed. If you anger him, the entire Earth could be in danger."

Wonder Woman blinked, silently abandoning her intention to use the Lasso of Truth. Ang had been sincere with her, and she had no reason to continue pressing him for answers when he was in a difficult situation. Ang had saved her and proven his stance. If she were to still use her artifact to extract information in such a situation, she would feel a sense of guilt.

"Alright, I understand. Do you have any advice as a friend?"

Suddenly, it felt as if Ang's heart had been stabbed. Is this what it feels like to be given a good person card? Awkward! Ang rolled his eyes, "Okay, my personal suggestion is—a newspaper office!" When this world was going to be destroyed, Ang didn't care anymore. "Thank you very much!"

Ang still couldn't keep Wonder Woman around. Unlike in his memories, this "history" had Wonder Woman stepping out of a sense of justice, actively facing Ares. In this timeline, it was because her homeland was in danger, forcing her to seek help. The urgency between the two was entirely different.

She had also just hastily studied basic knowledge for a day, and finally, she departed on the speedboat Ang provided. Watching the resolute figure of Wonder Woman disappear from his view, Ang couldn't help but shout in frustration at the empty sea before him, "Damn it! Someday I'll make you realize that I, Ang, am the man Diana can't have!"

In theory, a voice a kilometer away shouldn't be heard, yet on the speedboat, the corners of Wonder Woman's mouth suddenly curled upwards. This radiant smile left bystanders on other boats dumbfounded.
