Cultivation?

Nexus and Lorh made their way back through the Cave, sweat still glistening on their brows after the intense training session.

Nexus remained deep in thought, still stuck on the surge of power he had experienced during their spar.

As they passed the communal fire pit at the village center, several villagers called out words of congratulation and praise to Nexus.

A few of the children greeted him with a smile as he walk by them.

"The blessed child grows stronger every day!" an elder proclaimed, raising a gnarled hand.

"Soon he will be the greatest Hunter our tribe has ever known."

Nexus only nodded absentmindedly at the compliments.

"I wonder if it had something Todo with Soul energy" he thought.

As they neared the large cavern that served as their dwelling, his father placed his calloused hand on his son's slender shoulder.

With a proud smoke he spoke, "You have progressed immensely in just this last year, Gahr. I have never seen anything like it,"

He added, a hint of bewilderment in his deep voice, "At this rate, you will surpass even me before your eighth summer."

Nexus managed a small smile at the praise, his thoughts remained inwardly-focused.

"Thank you, father, Though I still have much to learn from your teachings."

Lorh chuckled. "For now, perhaps. But you may soon become the master instead of the student."

He guided Nexus inside and began Taking off their training gear.

After a simple evening meal of roasted mean and crushed Drins, Nexus retreated to the small alcove that served as his sleeping quarters.

As the sounds of the People quieted into night, he settled into a cross-legged meditation pose, as he focused on his Soul.

Nexus once again sense his Soul energy, following the flow of his energy Nexus ejected his consciousness from his body.

Now I'm within the Ocean Souls where his core's have been relocated since his body couldn't take them without exploding.

With the Core's energy flowing through him once again nexus mind began the think significantly faster than before.

His Head shifted as if showing a unnatural expression, "Whoa, didn't expect to be disoriented, was it really that long? Damn."

Slowly getting used to his original 'body' once again Nexus began to gather his thoughts.

"Okay.. so what was that? Looking back at it I'm sure it was because of soul energy."

"There's no other way to explain that warm sensation I felt otherwise, but problem is how exactly it happened..."

Looking At his pulsing Cores nexus had a sudden thought, scratching his chin he pondered, "I wonder if it's related to "it", meditation did work so maybe "it" too"

Taking a a deep breath Nexus observed the pulsing energy of his Core, for a good while he just watched it move.

Until eventually he found himself traveling with the energy of his Soul, just like that he had an epiphany.

After observing his energy for so long he finally realized the reason for what happened during the spar, "I see it was soo simple all along" he said laughing maniacally.

At this moment Nexus realized Something that could potentially change his plans big-time, a discovery that would soon make it's mark on history, defined by one man.

He exclaimed, "Throughout heaven and Terra I alone am the enlightened One bwahaha!"

Calming himself down Nexus stopped observing the energy,*Cough*, "anyways.. I should probably do it now."

A few seconds later nexus began to Control his soul energy to create a sort of vein like structure that's connected to each of his Cores of his body.

After he realized that the reason for his sudden Surge of power during the spar was likely do to the Vosaris unique Soul structure.

Since their soul was modified to have this vein like structures that connected to each others to create something similar to a core in the middle.

It made it store Soul energy more efficiently than any other not to mention the speed of which Soul energy travels through out the body, this is like the cause for the vosaris superior strength.

After all a stronger soul leads to a Stronger body, excluding him no other Soul is capable of creating a Core of their own.

"Vosaris are just built different" he joked, "now where was I..."

After a long while Nexus finally succeeded in connecting each of his Cores and the results clearly shows as he already felt his minds thought process to be faster than ever.

"This is amazing! With this it could mean that Vosaris are probably able to do "it"."

"What was this "it" exactly?, it's cultivation!"

"Well...Not entirely but similar in a way but it's part of meditation"

"From what little i could gather, according to the spiritual gurus cultivation is using ones spiritual energy to strengthen oneself."

"I was not entirely sure what it meant by first but after experiencing it in a way I think I understand now, it's just using Soul energy to make your body stronger."

Looking at the newly made veins of his Cores pulsing in harmony, he smiled, "with this it might be possible"

Now that he was done Nexus immediately went back to his body and quickly began so sense his Soul, soon a network of veins appeared before him.

The whole thing came together to form a circle of sort in the middle.

This is the soul structure of Vosaris, and the best one at that, he could feel the high amount of energy emitting from the core.

It was his energy, Nexus thoroughly inspected every part of it until he noticed until he noticed something unusual.

He realized that his soul energy doesn't fully envelope his entire soul, instead, it seemed to concentrate mostly in the middle.

"This must be the reason for my delayed actions" he thought.

With a focused effort, Nexus attempted to spread his soul energy throughout his entire body, aiming to correct the imbalance.

To his surprise, he succeeded, However, his joy was short-lived as he quickly realized that his soul energy seemed to gravitate back to the middle area.

"Hm? What's happening?" he blurted out in confusion.

Before long, despite his efforts, all of the energy returned to the middle once again, much to Nexus's frustration.

"Are you kidding me? What's wrong? Why did it return to where it was?"

Nexus tried moving the energy again, but once again, After several failed attempts to maintain the energy flow throughout his body.

Nexus began to give up and decided to contemplate potential solutions for it.

It was not long until he found it, the solution was simple, he just have to make some adjustments to the soul and add something akin to a tiny Core in each of his limbs.

Now with a solution, Nexus wasted no time in creating tiny Cores in each of his limbs.

He placed three core's in one of each limbs, one in his palm, elbows and shoulders, with his legs also the same.

One in his foot, ankles and thighs right next to the pelvis, and one to his neck up to his head aswell for good measure.

All of it took about 6 hours, much more longer than he expects but understandable since his not in his real body right now.

He was merely possessing his current body right now, But overall everything was Good since he finally enveloped his entire Soul.

Immediately he felt rejuvenated and much more lighter than before, his thoughts the same aswell, "fantastic!" He exclaimed

With that his meditation ended as he was satisfied with new found knowledge.

Nexus's eyes snapped open, his body not even tired after hours of meditating.

A sly smile crossed Nexus's youthful face as he contemplated, right now his strength was on par with his father.

He chuckled, "If I'm able to be this strong at such a young age, I'm basically unstoppable in the future."

After adjusting to his newfound strength, Nexus fell asleep, dreaming of uniting the world with his army of cultivators.

In the Year XXXX ASA archeologist discovered the remnants of an old Battleground.

There they found one of the oldest evidence of Vosaris using Soul energy.

But like all things it is eventually forgotten, for gone with the old and in with the new.

History is nothing but a forgettable tale written and remembered.

With World now many it has been forgotten, only known by one...Eternal.
