Chapter 2: A better understanding of a new world

After some time and some explications of Wang towards the elder of the village Kurozaiwa was being invited to the elder's house to talk and see what his options are and where to go from there.

Tea was served after some time and everyone had some better understanding of the situation Kurozaiwa was in.

The elder who introduced himself as Fukui had never heard of a tale like this and was lost himself, but being a elder and lived a long life he was experienced and had some ideas to help the young man who stood before him.

First would be the need to explain about this world and how this world works.

This world is known as Terra and it's a world of cultivation where the strong is king and the weak trampled upon.

Kurozaiwa could not help being shocked and sucked a deep breath in.

There are steps in a cultivation, and each steps are divided in 10 levels.

The first three steps in the road of cultivation are known as Qi condensation, Nascent profound and Earth profound.

There are other steps above but nobody in the village knows of them because no one of the village did go further than Qi foundation and where to old to advance any further.

Kurozaiwa thought back to how on earth there were novels talking of cultivation and was a little excited after hearing about it and could not wait to see how he would live in this new world.

After thinking for a while about his life back on earth and how there was little to nothing that was worth to look for a way to go back to it.

His mother died not so long after giving birth to him.

His father blamed and resented him for it and did not care for him because of it, saying it would have be best to not be born.

Having suffered abuse because of that he had to do his best to live by himself.

Cooking, laundry washing the house were things he did from his young age and did not pose him any problems anymore.

Kurozaiwa took the decision to not look for a way to go back and would do his best to live in this new world where the first people he saw were so kind to take care of him and had shown him kindness he had never had in his life back on earth.

Having found the resolution in his heart, he talked to the elder and Wang asking them if it would be possible to stay in the village and help him to learn the basics of cultivation and go on living in this world.

The elder and Wang took a look to each other and nodded in approval of the determination of the young man before them.
