388 Leaving the Mythic Garden

Jason understood that the unhatched petrification serpent had problems understanding him, but when he released his soul thread to show it, the language barrier between them didn't matter anymore.

The petrification serpent within the black egg instinctively understood what Jason wanted to do, yet, it was unsure what exactly it wanted.

Revenge?

Freedom?

Adventuring?

In the end, the unhatched petrification serpent had yet to hatch and it couldn't be considered as an overly intelligent beast because it was still growing and developing.

The petrification serpent mother had laid the eggs a few days ago which was why the unhatched petrification serpent couldn't understand the meaning of most things Jason said. 

To put it simply, it didn't think about revenge right now but it was only filled with sadness.

Nevertheless, more than three hours passed before Jason received something similar to an answer.
