12 On to the temple

Yang arrived at temple with her partner. She looks around and saw that the 'artifacts' were just oversized chess pieces.

"Hmmmm....."

She closely looks at each and every oversized chess pieces until she grabs a white knight piece and raised it on air while saying, "How about a cute little Pony!"

She looked over to the girl that would be her partner for the next four years, Blake Belladonna.

The black haired girl didn't seem like a bad person to be paired with. She was skilled, if not a little antisocial.

"Sure...." Blake casually replied as she and Yang walks towards each other

"That wasn't too hard!"

"Well, it's not like this place is difficult to find."

Yang then thought about her little brother and sister and started to wonder on why was it taking so long for them to find this place.

'Well, I hope that they're fine. Jin can search for this place with no problems, but Ruby.....'

After killing the abnormally large Alpha Beowolf and taking a good look of its body, Jin started running through the forest again, searching for other people, while in the same time going towards the temple.

This time, he didn't encounter any Grimms but so was for other humans. He even kept yelling 'CAW, CAW, CAW, CAW' while running, hoping for other people to hear it and follow his voice.

Its been a few minutes now and still no signs of other humans so far, and now that he thought of it. Was he going in the right direction to the temple?

"Could it be that I'm lost? Am I going in the opposite direction of the temple? Is that why I haven't encountered other people?"

Jin was getting nervous at the thought and he stopped running. He looked to his right and he looked to his left, he looked to his right again and started looking around, guessing on what direction he should go.

"I'm really lost huh. Well, I've done fucked up."

Jin just smiled at his misery, and just as all hope seemed to be lost. He suddenly hears a loud 'CAW', but this time it sounded like it came from an animal.

Jin just looks up and saw that a giant Nevermore was swiftly descending towards him as it loudly Caws.

'Well shit dude. Could it be that my Caws attracted it here?.....Wait, is it just me? Or is that Nevermore twice as big as in the series.'

A Nevermore is a type of Grimm that resembled a Condor. Like other creatures of Grimm, it has a bone-like mask with red markings and a dorsal fin on the upper front of its head. It also has four glowing red eyes, two on each side of its head.

'Oh wait, Ruby used that Nevermore in order to get to the temple faster.....Meh! I might as well do the same.'

The Nevermore was nearing him and it quickly tried to snatch him with its deadly talons.

Jin just dodged it with a large side-step and he leaped on to the back of the Nevermore with great strength while leaving a small crater on the area where he jumped. He then landed on its back and then lied on his stomach.

"Now that was easy!" Jin said as he firmly held on to the Nevermore's back.

The Nevermore loudly caws before soaring back to the skies. Jin just looked around and saw that he was all alone on the avian Grimm's back.

'Yep, this bird is twice as big compared in the series. Should I help Ruby and the gang kill this thing?'

'While the bird tried to grab me, I didn't see other people clinging to its side feathers. Hah, I guess Ruby and Weiss didn't get on the Nevermore yet.'

"Hey! Why did the Nevermore suddenly descend?!"

'Wait, What?!' Jin was surprised that he suddenly heard a voice.

"I don't know!" another voice said.

"Ah, Great! That was our chance to get off this thing!"

"What the heck are you saying?! We didn't even spot the temple yet!"

"And if we do, then how are we suppose to go down?!"

'This voice seems familiar.....Is that Weiss I'm hearing?' Jin thought as he continued listening.

"I don't know! Jump?! Maybe?!" Jin then recognized that voice.

'Ruby!?'

'They were already on this bird?! Then where the hell are they?! Why didn't I see them earlier?!'

"What?! Ruby! I told you this was a terrible idea!" Weiss yelled at her.

"We're fine! Stop worrying!"

Jin quickly crawls towards to where the voices were coming from and to his surprise, he found Ruby and Weiss hanging on the feathers of the giant Nevermore's ass. They were just right below its tail feathers.

'No wonder I didn't see them.'

"I am so far beyond worrying! How the heck are we suppose to go down?!"

"Weiss! Ruby!"

The duo looks up and saw Jin's face looking at them on the giant Nevermore's back.

"Jin!" Ruby exclaimed happily.

"How the hell did you two grabbed on to the Nevermore's ass feathers!"

"Well, that's a funny story actually. It started when Weiss and I became partners, and then a bunch of Beowolves attack-..."

"HOW ABOUT STOP CHIT CHATTING AND MORE ON HOW ARE WE GOING TO GET DOWN!" Weiss cut Ruby off as she screamed at them.

The twins look at her with Ruby having a sheepish expression while Jin just letted out a "Hmmmm..."

"Look! I see the temple over there!" Jin points out his hand and the two turned to where he was pointing at.

"Okay, BUT WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO NOW!" Weiss screamed again.

"Well, I told you. Why don't we just jump?"

Weiss' eyes widened in horror as she yelled at Ruby, "What?! What are you?! Insane?!"

"Not really, just times like this that Rubes is crazy." Jin said to her only to receive a glare in return.

The two then turned to Ruby and saw that she was already gone.

'Well sheit'

"Oh, that insufferable little red! I'm gonna-....."

Weiss was suddenly cut off when Jin slides down a bit towards her and wrapped an arm around her waist. Weiss blushed from Jin's sudden actions.

"H-H-HEY! What are you doing?!"

"Only one way to get off this monster. Hold on tight Weiss. Don't worry about falling. I'll never let you go." Jin said closely to her, as the last part of his words flustered Weiss and her heart started beating rapidly.

Jin suddenly jumped off without any warning as he held Weiss in his arms.

"AAAAAHHHHH!!"

Weiss just screamed in fright with tears on her eyes as she clings onto Jin tightly. Jin looks down and saw the temple and a small group of people running towards it.

"Ummm.....Did you hear something?"

Yang looked around, trying to spot the source of the sound, and then Blake just looks and points up.

"HEADS UUUUUUUP-oof!"

Ruby was falling right on top of them before a flying Jaune crashes at her right side, sending the duo flying towards a nearby tree.

"Did your sister just fall from the sky?"

"I....."

Yang was cut-off as there were several trees being cut down and booming noises were heard in the forest ahead of them.

A bear-like Grimm came out with its claws swiping in a frenzy, just as a pink blast of energy hits its back and it collapses to the ground.

An orange haired girl wearing pink and white clothing appeared off its back and rolls off the creature with a "YEEE-HAAAAW!"

She then gets back up with a groan, as she dashed onto its neck and observed the carcass.

"Awwww, its broken." the girl said. A boy then came up from behind her as he panted and leaned on the monster.

The boy seems to be Asian that has a long black hair tied into a ponytail that ends midway down to his back. There is a magenta streak on the left side of his hair. He was wearing green clothing with black and gold trimmings.

"Nora.....Please.....Don't ever do that again."

He looked up and he saw that his partner was gone, and he looked around to see where she had ran off again.

"Oooohh...." Nora stares at the 'artifacts' before she picks up an over-sized white rook piece and started chanting in a sing-song voice while dancing.

"I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!"

"Nora!"

"Coming Ren!" Nora giggled before skipping off to her partner.

"Did that girl just ride in on an Ursa?"

"Apparently she did. I-..." Yang was cut-off again as they heard a loud screech from their right.

Looking to where the sound came from, they saw a red haired girl wearing an Amazonian-like armor running to the temple with a Death Stalker on her tail.

The Death Stalker was a multi-eyed black giant scorpion-like Grimm with a bone-like mask and carapace with red markings. It also has bone-like pincers and has a golden stinger on its tail.

"Jaune!" The red haired girl exclaims, seeing her partner hanging up in a tree.

"Pyrrha!" Jaune also calls out while waving at his partner.

"Woah!"

Ruby was also up in the tree, she gets back up and jumps off to Yang, leaving the hanging Jaune who was calling out for help.

"Ruby!"

"Yang!"

"MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!"

The group then heard a voice from above, they all look up and their eyes widened in shock of what they saw.

It was Jin and he was carrying a clinging Weiss bridal style with a pair of giant wings made of Aura on his back.

Jin couldn't really use the wings to flap and fly, so he was just gliding down towards the group.

He then stopped using his Aura and his wings disappeared. Weiss saw what he was doing and she yelled in fright.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING! ARE YOU CRAZY?!"

They were now straight up falling down to the ground and Weiss was screaming as she clinged on Jin harder than before.

"GYAAAAAAAA!"
