14 Jin did an Oopsie

"Feels good man."

Jin stopped using his aura and the skeletal avatar disappeared. Yang and Ruby already made their way back to the group so he wanted to join with them now.

He looked back at his fellow hunters-in-training and he was greeted by their shocked expressions.

"What?" Jin asked.

"Doing that wasn't necessary you know." Ruby meekly said.

They were suddenly interrupted by a loud Caw. They all look to the sky and saw that the giant Nevermore was circling around them

"Uh, guys. How are we suppose to deal with that." Jaune asked as he points up.

"We don't need to, our objective is right in front of us." Weiss said as she looks at the temple.

"She's right. Our main mission is to grab an artifact and make it back to the cliffs. There's no point in fighting these things." Ruby said to Jaune and he nodded.

"Run and Live. That's good a plan." Jaune said as he gave a thumbs up.

Ruby and Jaune proceeded to go to the temple and grab an artifact for their partner. Ruby picked up a white knight piece and Jaune picked up a white rook piece.

They then heard some trees crashing down from their left, and in that area, revealed another Death Stalker.

"Seriously? Another one?!" Jaune whined at the sight of another Grimm.

But wait! There's more!

The group heard some slithering noises in front of them and in the area, revealed a King Taijitu.

These Grimms were a gigantic snake that has two halves, one white and one black, that are joined in the center with a head at each end. They have the classic bone-like mask with red marking on their head and several fangs in its jaw.

Seeing another Grimm appearing before them, Jaune whined again as he sarcatically remarked, "Great, just what we needed."

They heard trees crashing down again, and this time, it was on their right. The group looked at the area, and there came out an unusual looking Grimm.

It had the wings, front legs and talons of a bird and its body, tail and rear legs was that of a lion. It has a black fur and feathers, with white bone-like spines on its body and a row of bony spikes on its wings and tail. It has a head that looked like a bird's skull and bone-white beaks and four red eyes.

It was a Griffon.

"What the heck is that suppose to be?!" Jaune exclaimed as he whined yet again at the sight of another Grimm.

Yang just smiled helplessly as she sarcastically said, "The best day of my life."

'Wow, everything's going differently compared to the series. Is it because of my presence? And where the hell did that Griffon come from, it shouldn't be found here in the Emerald Forest.' Jin mentally sighed as he silently made a plan in his mind.

"Guys." Jin called out to the group. Everybody turns to look at him as he continued in his dialogue.

"I have a plan. I'll distract those three Grimms and lead them away. While you guys make a run for it and head to the cliffs."

Yang's eyes widened at her brothers words and her face changed into anger. Her eyes turned red as she held Jin's shoulders and yelled at him.

"WHAT?! ARE YOU CRAZY?! I'M NOT ALLOWING YOU TO BECOME BAIT!"

"Fighting several gigantic Grimms is too much for all of you, especially if some them Grimms are fast. So you guys need to make a run for it while I lead them away. There's no other plans here that could work."

"No! You are going to run away with us! I'm not gonna let you do something that stupid!" Yang exclaimed as she strongly gripped her brother's arm.

Weiss pulled his clothes before persuading with a pleading look, "She's right. You don't need to do this. Just come with us."

Jin just sighs as he putted on an assuring smile, "Look, I promise that I'll be okay. I'm just going to lead them away and not do anything dangerous."

Yang was about to protest again, but she was interrupted by a screech from the Death Stalker as it charges towards them. The rest of the Grimms let out their own roars and screams before they similarly charged towards the group.

"You need to go now!" Jin said as he managed to shake off Yang's grip and dashes towards the Grimms.

"JIN! NOOOOOOOO!"

Yang screamed as she prepared her gauntlets and was about to help her brother, until a hand suddenly grabbed her shoulder and made her stop. She turned around and saw that Ruby was the one holding her.

"What are you doing?! Let me go!"

"Yang, We need to trust him. Let's just do our part." Ruby said in a convincing tone.

She also didn't want to let her twin become the bait. But she knew Jin's abilities too well and couldn't really find a reason that he would get badly hurt against a few Grimms.

Afterall, she's seen him handle more compared to their current situation.

"Don't worry about me! I'm the fastest here remember? They'll never catch up to me!" Jin said out loud as he turned back and gave them a reassuring smile.

Yang had a troubled look on her face as she reluctantly turned back and started to run away with group.

"Welp, they're gone now.....Hehehehe, time to have fun." Jin said to himself with a cocky smirk on his face.

But then he saw something unbelievable.

The Death Stalker and the Nevermore ignored him and they chased Ruby's group instead. The King Taijitu and Griffon were the only ones coming after him.

'So those two Grimms are really fated to be the first ones that they will slay in their time here in Beacon. Well, I guess its necessary for them to know how to work together.'

Jin just sighed before turning into a blur and instantly appearing above the Griffon's head.

In the next moment, only a red streak of light can be seen as the Griffon's head was suddenly separated from its body. Jin then stood on top of its corpse, holding the unsheathed Mythic Edge that flickered with red energy.

The Black-headed part of the King Taijitu lashed at him with its fangs gleaming with cold light. Jin dodged its attack with a side-step and he slashed at its head before dashing off to the White-headed part and quickly cutting it off.

There was no blood that splattered as the heads of the King Taijitu feel off from its body.

"Easy!"

Jin was about to put Mythic Edge back to its sheath, until he suddenly heard multiple howls behind him.

"Beowolves.....and it looks like there's alot of them. At least thirty, now that's a huge pack."

The howling was getting closer and in the next few seconds, the Beowolves presented themselves in front of Jin before all of them charged at him in a frenzy.

Jin turned into a blur as a streak of red light passed through a group of Beowolves, and in the next second, the Beowolves near that light was split in half.

(Author's Note: He basically did an Alpha Strike. As in like Master Yi from LoL)

Jin's movements and slashes was imperceptible, except for the red streaks of light, as Beowolves were split into two one after another.

He then instantly appeared in front of the Alpha Beowolf and slashed in between its eyes, splitting the Grimm in two with great precision.

Jin then heard a bear-like roar from his left and saw that there were three Ursas charging at him in all fours.

He did a flying kick at the nearest one on the face, and that Ursa was instantly killed as its head was crushed with the force of the kick. Jin dashed at the remaining two with a slash, and the bodies of the two Ursas were perfectly split in half.

Cutting Grimms in half was his common way of killing Grimms when he was using Mythic Edge. He has done it for years now, so he was master in the art of cutting things in half.

"Holy shit! Grimms are just appearing left and right! Where the hell did they all come from?!"

Jin looked at the corpses of the Grimms with a smile on his face until he suddenly heard loud caw from the sky. He looked up and saw that a Nevermore was rapidly descending towards him, but this Nevermore was smaller compared to the one that was chasing Ruby and the gang.

'Hmmmm.....Now that's the Nevermore that team RWBY was supposed to fight at the ruins. Now they were left with the other gigantic Nevermore.....I hope they do well and stay safe.'

The Nevermore loudly caws before stopping mid-air and flaps its wings at Jin, firing a barrage of sharp spear-like feather quills.

Jin dodged the feathers in a zig-zag movement. The Nevermore then continued its descent as it prepared its sharp talons to grab him.

The Nevermore went in for a snatch, but Jin just dodged it with a large side-step and he leaped into its back.

Feeling something on its back, the Nevermore loudly caws before soaring back to the sky. It twisted its body mid-air in order to get the human off its back. But sadly, it didn't work as Jin had a firm grip on its feathers.

"Come on! If you just fly to the place I wanna go, I'll get off. I'll even leave a thank you!"

The Nevermore then proceeded to perform aerial drifts and twists while circling around. It was trying to shake the human off its back, but it clearly wasn't working. The Nevermore loudly caws before proceeding to fly straight at a high-speed, hoping that the human would be thrown off by the wind.

"Damn bird! You think this will work?!" Jin said as his grip became harder.

The Nevermore then rapidly soared higher into the sky.

Jin was surprised at this action and he looked back. He saw that they were now in an extremely high height, he wasn't confident that he would survive if he falls from this height, even with the use of Aura for protection and everything.

'Oh! There's Beacon Cliff! The future team RWBY is not doing well against the giant Nevermore and the future team JNPR is now helping them.'

'I guess they already dealt with the Death Stalker, but their situation is still not good.....Of course it is, that bird they're facing is twice as big as this one. The bird that they should have faced is the one I'm riding right now! Oopsie.'
