15 Beginning of a Legend

The Nevermore was soaring higher and higher up into the sky in rapid pace. Jin was confused at its actions and he didn't know what the bird was trying to do.

"Great, if this bird flies too far, where the air is thin. Then I won't be able to breath because of the lack of oxygen. But so will be for this bird, so I doubt that it would fly that high.....Wait do Grimms breathe? They don't have a soul, so.... they don't breathe.....right?"

Jin was slightly nervous at the thought as he saw the Nevermore flying higher into the sky without any signs stopping. Until suddenly, the Nevermore stopped flying higher and it turned its back to face the other direction.

"Oh, so this is its plan."

The Nevermore then proceeded to do the scariest aerial dive in all of history.

It brought its wings to its body, its tail was folded and its feet was tucked in. It then went for a one hell of an aerial dive.

(Insert Falling Bomb Sound Effect)

"Holy....."

The avian Grimm was descending faster than it was soaring, it made gravity and its weight do all the work. Jin was holding on to its back with his head down and eyes closed, trying to not be injured by the strong wind.

'Damn! This bird is smarter than I thought!'

During its descent, as its speed increases because of gravity, its left wing was pushed forward with its head tucked in to that side, while the right wing was pulled back.

This kind of manoeuvre streamlines the bird by decreasing its cross-section presented to the air. With this, the body of the Nevermore would become more aerodynamic and its air resistance would be greatly minimized, making its speed of descent even faster.

Jin was now struggling in maintaining his position, as the wind was extremely strong at this point, if he weakens his grip for a moment, then he'll immediately be blown off by the wind.

He then slightly opened his eyes to see where the Nevermore was diving, and to his surprise. It heading towards the ruins just beneath Beacon Cliff.

'Jesus Christ! Is it gonna crash into the ruins?!'

'Team RWBY and JNPR is finally turning the tides against that giant Nevermore. I don't know how, but its a good thing I guess. I shouldn't let this bird interrupt their fight.'

Following this thought, Red electricity started to crackle around Jin's body. He was charging up a powerful electric shock for the avian Grimm.

The Nevermore was still sky diving and was rapidly nearing the ground. Jin immediately unleashed a powerful and charged up electrical shock at the Grimm.

The Nevermore cawed in agony as its wings suddenly spread out and its body shaking, its entire body was continously shocked by a powerful red electricity that came from its back. This made it slow down its descent, but the direction it was going was changed.

Instead of crashing into the ruins beneath the cliff, it was going to crash into the forest.

The Nevermore's body kept twitching for a few seconds until it stopped moving, it already died. It was completely fried from inside out and Jin could smell the strong scent of a roasted bird.

'I don't know why, but for some reason it smells good.'

Jin was now in the height where he would be fine if falls down. So he just straight-up jumped down from the back of the roasted Nevermore.

The corpse of the Grimm crashed first on to several trees, and then Jin crashed down from the ground with a loud boom.

It was another super hero landing from him as a medium-sized crater was created on the ground.

"Woah! Look at that!" Ruby said in awe as she pointed out to the crashing Nevermore.

They just finished defeating the giant Nevermore with the help of Jaune and his team. They were heading into the forest to help Jin out, until they saw a giant smoking bird crashing.

*Sniff* *Sniff* "Something smells good!" Nora cheerfully exclaimed.

"I can already guess who took down that Grimm." Blake remarked.

Yang couldn't help but have a worried expression on her face. She just hoped that Jin wasn't badly hurt, but that's when she came to a realization.

'Wait.....didn't he say that he wouldn't do anything dangerous?!'

Soon everyone saw a human figure coming out of the forest, which reveals to be Jin who had a smirk on face. But his hair was slightly messed up and so was for his clothes.

"Well, well, well. You guys really pounded that big ass Nevermore on your own huh." Jin said as he approached the group.

He was then tackled into the ground by a red and yellow blur. He looked up and was greeted by a crushing hug from Yang and Ruby.

"YOU'RE OKAY!" The sisters happily said as they continued to hug Jin even tighter, which made his face turn blue.

"Right....Please let go now." Jin wheezed out.

"I won't let you do that again! You hear me!" Yang said out loud.

"Fine, Fine! Now let go!"

Both of the sisters finally released him from his pain and they look at Jin with a sheepish face as they scratched their head.

Jin got up and gave them a glare before turning to the others. It would be weird if he just called out their names when they never told him theirs. So he decided acting on not knowing their names.

"So, mind introducing yourselves before we head back? I already know Blake, Jaune and Weiss."

"Nora Valkyrie's the name and this is my best friend Lie Ren and we're together! Well, not together, together. We're partners now in Beacon and-...."

"Nora....." Ren stopped her.

"Yes?" Nora asked as she looks at him. Ren just shook his head and Nora nodded at him before he looks at Jin, who had an amused look on his face.

"Well aren't you an easy-going one. Good for you to stay relaxed in your missions." Jin said with a small smile.

Nora had a huge grin while Ren just smiled at hearing this. Jin then turned to the red-haired girl with a raised eye-brow and said.

"Aren't you Pyrrha Nikos, Four times Mistral Champion?"

Pyrrha nodded at his words and said, "Yes, I am."

Jin smirked at her as he said, "Well, I hope you will be interested in having a sparring match with me in the future."

Pyrrha smiled at hearing this before saying, "I certainly will."

"Now, that's over with. I'm going back to the temple since I haven't got my relic yet. I'll see you guys later." Jin said as he turned back.

"We're coming with you!" Ruby said to him and the rest nodded their heads. Jin just smiled at them before they walked their way back to the temple.

The scene now takes us in the school's auditorium.

The students were gathered here for the official announcement of the teams. Ozpin was standing in the middle of the stage with four students, while the holo-screens above showed their image and the name of their team.

"Russel Thrush, Cardin Winchester, Dove Bronzewing, Sky Lark. The four of you retrieved the black bishop pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team CRDL, led by Cardin Winchester!" Ozpin announced.

The students clapped for the new team before team CRDL stepped down from the stage. Four students walked up to take their places in front of the headmaster as their faces were shown on the screen.

"Jaune Arc, Lie Ren, Pyrrha Nikos, Nora Valkyrie. The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team JNPR." Ozpin announced.

A wave of clapping and cheering was heard around the crowd and Nora laughs and gives Ren a hug.

"Led by.....Jaune Arc!" Ozpin ended.

Jaune had a surprised and nervous look on his face as he blurted out, "Huh? L-Led by....?"

"Congratulations young man." Ozpin said.

Pyrrha just smiled at her partner before giving a friendly punch to his shoulder. But Jaune was knocked over and falls to his butt, which made the audience laugh at the scene.

Soon, Team JNPR left the stage and four young girls walked to their places in front.

"Blake Belladonna, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee and Yang Xiao Long." Ozpin said as his hand motions over the four as they stood before him.

"The four of you retrieved the white knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team RWBY. Led by.....Ruby Rose."

Upon hearing this, Weiss had the look of surprise as she turns to Ruby. While Ruby was also in shocked at the announcement before Yang jumped off to hug her sister.

"I'm so proud of you!"

From the sidelines, Jin was smiling. Even though he already knew that it was fated to happen, he couldn't help but still feel happy for his twin sister.

"And finally, Jin Rose." Ozpin called. Jin proceeded to step forward and stood in front of him, before Ozpin continued announcing.

"You have retrieved the black king piece. Normally, you would have been placed in a team, but because of the artifact you retrieved, and after looking at your transcript and your performance in the test...." Ozpin said as he motioned his hand over at the screens.

Soon, a footage of Jin killing a number of Beowolves and Ursas swiftly, cutting the heads of a King Taijitu, and causing a Nevermore to crash was shown to the audience.

Upon seeing this, most of the audienced gasped in shock and awe at how Jin was easily killing Grimms like livestock.

Ozpin then continued his speech, "You have been given a special title, which will the first one that's ever appeared in Beacon Academy....'Elite Hunter in Training'."

Everyone in the auditorium, even the staff and instructors themselves, was shocked at the headmaster's announcement.

"This title means that you are going to be an assistant for the rest of the staff and in the same time will be given special access and treatment in the school's facilities. I expect you carry this title with pride and responsibility."

Jin was shock in hearing this and he could tell that Ozpin wasn't joking, he was a hundred percent serious.

Jin felt great pride in hearing those words before he smiled with a solemn look and said.

"Yes, I will."

Everyone in the auditorium cheered loudly in hearing this. Ozpin smiled in hearing his words and he extends his hand.

Jin accepted his hand and did the most formal handshake, symbolizing an agreement and trust towards each other.
