Divine Rejuvenation Potion

Sun Xin went to the Marketplace with him gathering all he could. From mana crystals to goblin ears as well as some crude weapons that could be sold or dismantled by blacksmiths.

He was carrying a load of bags with him after he exited the portal. The portal has closed and the Dungeon management team was shocked. Some dropped their donuts as they were on breaks after seeing him walking outside the portal.

"It's closed! The dungeon is conquered!"

"Wait, he did?"

"What? How?"

They were in utter shock at what was transpiring on right on their faces. It was all because, he walked alone outside and was like a celebrity. The dungeon manager ran to meet him himself.

"Sir, you conquered it! I couldn't still believe what I am seeing," he said after he bowed.

"I conquered the dungeon, there's pay right?" Sun Xin said to him coldly.

"Of course, right this way. Thanks to you I will have a vacation," he smiled genuinely.

Sun Xin smiled and patted his shoulders. He could detect if someone was harboring ill intension. This one's a genuinely good person.

He entered the briefing room once again and saw the other raid team. All looking at him with grimace.

"Hey that was fast, did you surrender early? I thought you can deal with it yourself. Thanks to you I already have 1 million dollars on my bank. Well, we can raid it again yes? Regretting it now that you did not ask for our help?" The supposed team leader said to him.

"Yeah! A trash should beg for us to help!" Said the other young man. Younger than Xin.

"Bark like a dog first and crawl. And we will help you." Said the woman that was folding her arms.

Immediately, the Dungeon manager arrived late and saw the situation.

"Ey dungeon manager, see this cocky bastard? He will beg for us to help him next time. He did not finish the dungeon yes? I bet he went out crawling," the leader said to him pointing at his face.

"Um, I am sorry sir Xin for the misunderstanding. I will give you the payment and credit card for it." He said to him then gave a gold card.

The others were in shock as they saw it. Sun Xin immediately went to exit the room and immediately went to the Hunter Market.

In there, he saw numerous carcasses of monsters that has monetary value. He brought several sacks of goblin ears from the spatial storage he has and then went to haggle the price.

The plumpy stout man that has a leather apron was the trader and he saw the quality of the goods.

"This goblin ears can be sold for 1 million dollars. It was an ingredient in alchemy for making monster attractant and was valued greatly. The Hunters use this commonly in dungeon raids." He said to him, checking it's weight on a weighing scale that was a wide as a truck.

"Hmm hmm, then I also have another loot to sell," Sun Xin showed him the mana crystals he has in the sack.

"Mana crystals? Enchanters greatly need this one now and the price has just risen! There are low in stocks right now in the market," he said as he inspectioned the quality.

"Hmm, I will buy this 1 dollar per fist size," he said.

"Deal," Sun Xin replied and did a good handshake.

With it, he gave all the ones he stored inside his spatial storage. Piling a huge and towering pile of blue crystals.

"What? You have a lot of them? This could supply the enchanters guild for a month! I say 12 million dollars? If you agree?" He went to rub his hands.

"Sure," Sun Xin replied.

With it, he was handed with a credit card that has 13 million dollars in it. Still, Xin was still not contented. He asked the tradet for certain ingredients and was left sighing.

"The price for Divine Mandragora was 15 million dollars, the Heart of a Dragon is 15 million and the Bark of World Tree was another 15 million. Why sir? You have someone that suffered from Mana disease?" He asked.

"Yes, I still need more money for it. I still need 33 million for the potion. Plus the fee for the Alchemist to brew the potion." Sun Xin smiled bitterly. He needed to work more for the recuperation of his mother.

Sun Xin thanked the trader and then left the Hunter market. He immediately went to his mom's hospital in which Xian called that she was already there.

He took a cab and then arrived at last. The hospital was 7 floors high and it was night that time so lights from the windows were seen from below where he stood.

He bought fruits and snacks for his sister and went inside the hospital. The air-conditioning was good and felt the chill on his skin.

He entered and went to his mother's room which was in floor 2 room number 27. He arrived on the room and he wonder why it was loud from just the door. He opened the door and he was shocked at what he saw. His bag of snacks were dropped as his strength was seeping out from his hands.

His sister Xian was weeping as she held her mother's arms. Her mother was having seizure and was trembling hard. Blood was pouring out from her mouth.

"Mother! Help! Help us, doctor please!" She shouted but was about to lose her voice.

"Brother! Help, help, I don't know what to do," she said pleadingly.

Immediately, Xin ran and asked for help. Arriving, back to the room, the doctor arrived and then helped his mother.

"Brother! Mom, mom is..... Mom is.....!" She weeped and weeped in his arms.

"It will be okay, she will be fine, I promise," Xin reassured her. Though Xin was in distress too. He did not know if he will make it.

His promise to save his family was remembered and he sworn to make her recover.

The doctor stabilized her and his mother went back to calm down. But the doctor was not happy either.

"Sir Xin, can I talk to you for a minute?" He asked.

"Yes doc," they went to several steps from the room and away from his sister to hear.

"Your mother will not last long. She is in critical stage. In my estimate, she will only hold on for a year. The mana disease was spreading and only the Divine Rejuvenation Potion can only help her. If not treated then she might perish for sure. But if you can't, then I will only pray that she will last longer than expected," he said in a sad and low voice.

"I will try my best to find a way Doc. I already have small amount of money. I bet I can buy or brew that potion before one year." Xin said to him.

"Well, I will leave that to you. Do your best," he said then left.

Xin was still stressed. He remembered the passing of his mother in the past life. Also his sister went suicide and his father was left unfound. His older sister did not recognize him anymore. All this made him bite his lower lips and it bled.

He could not bear to experience that anymore. And so he sworn to prevent it all from happening.
