Chapter 3: What would a child do?

As soon as we arrive at the kitchen, there was a food good for one person. The maid help me sit and eat. "You need to eat,

Your Highness, you need to be healthy to grow faster." I was nervous, what if the food was poisoned? Am I gonna die again? But before I could eat, the maid taste the food first. There was a big tasty bread, a vegetable soup and water. While I was eating, the maid just stood there and watch me. I still need to find out who am I and what is this place? As I finished eating I drank the water. "Your Highness, would you like to go out in the garden and play?" The maid asked me as she finished cleaning the dishes and the table. She must think I wanted to play because I'm inside this child's body, but my mind is more matured than you think. When we arrive, I was astonished by the surroundings, I saw several different kinds of beautiful flowers. The garden was big and peaceful. The maid picked some flowers and gave it to me.

" It would be nice to make a flower crown, Your Highness." I thought it was childish and a dumb idea, since I haven't done it before. Since childhood, focusing on my studies and winning all the contests was my first priority. My happiness didn't matter. I wanted to do this. We picked up more flowers. Beside the fountain there was a table and two chairs. We made a flower crown and sat there. She was a funny person, this woman treated me like I'm a person that needs to be cherish.

"Your Highness, His Majesty the emperor, your father will visit you, Are you perhaps worried"? What kind of daughter would be scared to see his father? She seemed worried. This child's father is probably cruel towards her. But she is still a child, it must be hard for this baby. The maid was still waiting for my answer, " Hehe" I didn't know why I laughed. I really don't know what to answer to his question, so I just laughed and smiled, like a child would. The maid seemed to care about me so much. "Your Highness, your hair still shines during the day, it's magnificent, like the hair of your mother." Hearing the word mother suddenly made my heart ached. A solemn tear fell down on my cheeks. I held my chest because it was painful. What would a child do in this situation? Will she react like me? Or will a mere child feel nothing?
