Whenever Gilgamesh wasn't doing an escort or guard mission within the village, he would often spend his time modifying his jutsu and techniques learnt to suit his small frame better. He had already exhausted his knowledge of medical ninja arts, barrier and sealing jutsu from the ninja library so he only had time to modify them.

His rate of comprehension of ninja arts and scrolls was so high that he could easily point out flaws after understanding their concepts and improving them. The problem was time as he would often get summoned by The Third to be forcefully given missions since The Third believed that he also needed experience but the only battle experience he got so far was the one with the bandits and that did not satisfy him.

He thought about making trouble for his seniors like the jounin ninjas or Anbu so he could learn from them but he often shrugged that off and would hang around with Naruto instead.

Gilgamesh had seen so many flaws in Shisui's body flicker jutsu that he left it all together and focused on specializing in his surprisingly difficult movement technique, he wondered why for so long he couldn't make his own movement technique since he was good at seeing the truth of all things once he studies them.

During the battle, Gilgamesh smiled to himself as multiple green needles shot at him at blinding speeds.

The only thing Gilgamesh had been able to recall about himself through his memories that would come through migraines was his name, the name of the person that killed him, the fact that he wasn't completely human but forgot what his other side was, mana sense, and his ability to see with his eyes, the past present and future of anything and any event which is called Sha Naqba Imuru. Even the last-mentioned ability didn't let him uncover everything about his past since he knew he would awaken to his true form afterwards and was excited about it.

But still, those limitations brought him joy and excitement since it told on how powerful he could be.

Gilgamesh rushed forward with his palms clasped together and weaved hand signs to generate golden lightning from his stretched palms that managed to destroy some of the needles but many still made their way to Gilgamesh's body.

'He can even use lightning? That looked scary, thank goodness he didn't use that attack on me earlier or that his annoying barrier genjutsu, tch! Anyway, it's meaningless now, what a pity, such a young talent…' Shisui thought to himself as he walked forward groggily to the dust that covered Gilgamesh's body.

'Will I even be able to recognize him?' Shisui thought as he wondered what his body would look like after being impaled by several needles.

"Interesting…" a voice could be heard from the dust that began to dissipate.

"No way… How?" Shisui asked as he prepared another attack.

Shisui saw Gilgamesh in his chunin jacket that looked as fresh as it was at the beginning of the fight with his golden headband he tied around his left bicep. But Shisui looked down and saw a golden armour, the likes of which he had never seen before radiate a golden glow before dying out and revealing its design.

"Interesting, I just remembered this armour but I can't use the full set. Still, its effect is enough to protect my entire body as if there is an invisible armour around my upper half." Gilgamesh said as he happily inspected his armour.

Finally, he had been pushed to his limits and was forced to remember his armour which activated itself on him in that same instant!

"What is that?!" Shisui demanded as his eyes widened.

"Don't tell me you are already getting blind? You should be good for a few more uses of the Mangeyko." Gilgamesh commented with a hint of sass in his voice.

"Blind? Anyway, that will only work for… wait a second…" Shisui said as his Mangeyko read a slight movement from Gilgamesh. Instinctively, Shisui backed off.

"It's too late anyway." Gilgamesh said as he floated in the air above Shisui.

"Fast! How? I barely read your movements!" Shisui said as he moved his head upwards and was about to command his Susano'o but Gilgamesh stretched his left hand at Shisui which caused Shisui to hesitate for half a second but used his Susano'o to attack with its lance.

Before Shisui's Susano'o could even move its arm, its green aura seemed to be moving towards Gilgamesh's outstretched left palm.

"Sleep." Gilgamesh said as Shisui's Susano'o began to lose its flesh and deteriorate to its muscular body then skeletal until only a green aura covered Shisui and then nothing covered Shisui causing Shisui to be in disbelief.

"Your chakra absorption jutsu is on another level." Shisui commented as he began to lose control over his Mangeyko which spinned back to a normal three tomoe sharingan.

"Damn it!" Shisui said as he grabbed his right arm, his body was a bloody mess and Shisui used all he had to raise his head up to look at Gilgamesh.

'Even if I wanted to use him as my rival, he surpassed me at the age of six! Will ever even know what the top feels like?' Shisui thought to himself as his Sharingan deactivated by itself.

'Even though I said wouldn't underestimate him, I still treated him like a child in the end… I don't think…' Shisui's thoughts were interrupted as he coughed out more blood.

"Tch… annoying." Gilgamesh said as he landed softly on the ground.

At that moment, Shisui used his all and slammed his hand on the floor as lightning spread from his palm outwards in a circular fashion so he could destabilize or potentially leave Gilgamesh with a fatal injury.

But his lightning release barely passed his shadow since his chakra was found wanting at the moment, after seeing that Shisui collapsed into a puddle of his own blood.
