1 The Voice.

Since he was young, a certain voice has been haunting him.

Jack Mikaelson. Ordinary teenager in the eyes of many. A jet black hair with dark blue eyes. Above-average face with an athletic body.

A filial son, a filial brother, good student, and good friend.

But there was a secret he hid from everyone, because it would make everyone avoid him like the plague.

He has heard a voice in his mind since he was young.

'Kill the sinners.' The voice says.

Jack brushed it off as his imagination; he has always been one with great imagination. He thought this wasn't any different from previous times.

But the voice didn't disappear.

The older he got, the louder the voice became.

When he reached 15 years old, he started finding out the sins people had caused.

Because of that, he started drifting away from his friend group, not because they had sinned, because he couldn't stay near them.

Some of his classmates have sinned in some way, which made him nauseous, especially since some were on the darker side.

The only time he could feel calm was with his family.

His father, mother, and little sister.

He knew that he could trust his family and tell them about the voice.

But... He was too afraid to do that.

People fear what they don't understand.

Once he reached 18, the voice was already loud enough to be called a shout.

Every day the voice shouted.

At first, it was every 5 hours.

Then it became every 1 hour.

Then every 5 minutes, until the voice was heard every 1 minute.

He suffered insomnia; he could barely sleep because of the voice.

His sanity was disappearing at an alarming rate, Jack thought about going to a mental institution, but he wished there was still some sanity in him.

But the turning point came very quickly in Jack's life.

The day when not so ordinary Jack, became much more unordinary.

...

The day of the Incident.

Jack was lying down on his bed while clutching his head.

'Kill the sinners... Kill the sinners...' The voice echoed in his mind.

''Shut the fuck up! You have been saying the same thing for 10 years!'' Jack rolled in his bed in agony; he was smashing his head to the pillow.

The voice disappeared, but Jack knew that it would come back soon.

''Please... Voice... Say something else... I am getting annoyed hearing the same thing for 10 years!'' Jack shouted; he stood up in anger and took his jacket from the chair.

He left his room and walked towards the door.

His parents were sitting on the couch while watching TV.

His mother turned his head and asked, ''Jack, where are you going?''

Jack took the shoes and put them on, ''For a walk, I will be back soon.'' He didn't wait for their words; he had already opened the door and left the house.

Jack and his family were living in the lovely city called Chicago, which in fact, wasn't very lovely.

The crime rate was on the rise, which made Jack's pain even worse.

Half of the people he sees in the streets have sinned in some way.

He is sure that he could become the world's greatest detective with his ability, but what would he say to the Jury or the Police Captain.

''I have a voice in my head which tells people's sins.'' Yeah, no, that is a one-way ticket to the mental institution.

Jack has also found out that if you look at some disturbing stuff on the internet, that is, in fact a sin.

He really doesn't like when he sees some guys in the streets having some disturbing hobbies.

He would just like to call F.B.I after those guys, but what would the reason be?

''Go check their browser history; you will find out that I was right!'' Another ticket to the mental institution.

And some smarter guys might have used Incognito mode; he doesn't know can F.B.I find out even after using Incognito, and he doesn't want to find out.

Enough of that topic.

Jack was walking in the streets, holding his ears in pain. The voice returned.

'Kill the sinners... Kill the sinners!'

''I would like to kill some of the sinners as well after ruining my innocence, but I doubt their special hobbies are worthy of death!'' Jack shout whispered.

There were some people in the street, and shouting those words would have earned him a great amount of raised eyebrows.

While he was arguing against a voice, who never responded, he didn't notice that he had arrived at the shady part of the city.

Amount of people in the streets lessened considerably, and the doors and the windows were tightly shut.

Jack also didn't notice that he was walking towards an alleyway where a crime was currently happening.

''KYAA!'' Jack flinched; the scream was even louder than the voice in his mind.

He turned his head and saw a bald man about to assault a defenseless-looking woman in her early 20s.

The man was holding a knife at her throat while clumsily trying to take his pants off.

''SOMEONE HELP!'' The woman screamed.

''Shut the fuck up, bitch! One more word, and I will fuck your cold corpse!'' The man's words instantly made the woman very obedient.

Her face was pale white with a trembling body.

'Kill the sinners!' The voice was again heard in Jack's voice.

''Damn it!'' Jack started running towards the bald man and tackled him!

''WHAT THE F...'' The bald man shouted with panic, but then Jack's punch contacted with his tattooed face.

*SMACK* *SMACK*

Jack started pounding the bald man's face.

The bald man's nose was the first one to be broken, then a few of his teeth flew out of his mouth, then blood started trickling down from his broken nose and from his mouth.

The woman seeing the scene instantly fled away.

*SMACK*

Jack's next punch made the bald man's vision turn black.

Soon his body became limp, and his eyes went white.

Jack looked at the knocked-out man.

He grabbed his hands in pain, his fists were soaked in blood, and his skin got ripped open from his knuckles.

Jack stood up and leaned on the side of the building.

''Fuck... Happy? I did what you told me to.'' Jack mockingly said.

'Kill the sinners...' The voice whispered in his mind.

''Kill... Not happening, I will take him to the police station. I bet this garbage of existence has a previous criminal record.'' Jack said and took a phone from his pocket, about to call the police, but then the voice became enraged.

'KILL THE SINNERS! KILL THE SINNERS!''

''What the fuck!'' Jack fell down on the ground, and his phone was broken into pieces.

'KILL THE SINNERS! KILL THE SINNERS!'

''AARGGHHH!'' Jack rolled in the ground in agony, the memories of the bald man's sins surfaced into his mind.

And he was right.

The bald man had a previous criminal record, but not one, not two. At least hundreds of minor crimes and significant crimes. But he hasn't got caught yet with a miracle or with luck.

'KILL THE SINNERS! KILL THE SINNERS!'

Jack widened his eyes in pain; a small golden flame was shown on his pupils.

''RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!'' Jack let out a mad-sounding roar, slight smoke left his mouth.

The flames became even more visible in his eyes.

'KILL THE SINNERS! KILL THE SINNERS!'

''Kill... The... Sinners...'' Jack murmured and stood up.

He took deep breaths, with his nose and with his mouth.

The smoke left his mouth and nose after each breath.

He grabbed the bald man's unconscious body and, with inhuman strength, lifted him up.

Jack grabbed his throat and squeezed.

The bald man woke up from his unconscious state and saw a young man with flaming eyes looking at him murderously.

''GGUGUGUHGH!'' The bald man started twisting and turning, trying to get out of Jack's grab.

But the more he struggled, the tighter the squeezing became.

Until finally, the light from the bald man's eyes started to disappear.

The bald man shortly afterwards became lifeless, like a doll.

But that wasn't the end.

Soon the bald man's body turned into flames! The flesh melted away and bones turned into ashes.

And soon, the bald man was wiped out of the existence.

Jack fell down on his knees, ''W-What was that... D-Did I kill him?'' He couldn't believe it. The previous minute has been strangest thing that he has ever seen.

But he didn't have time to comprehend about the things he saw, because soon his body was lit in flames.

''AARRGHHH!'' Jack screamed with despair, first his clothes melted away.

Then his flesh, then his blood, and finally his bones.

Only the flaming skull was left, but it looked like it was very much alive.

Same golden flames were shown on the flaming skull's eye sockets.

''RAAA!'' The flaming skull roared and disappeared into ashes.

The random alleyway in the city of Chicago... Became Jack's tomb, but no one knew what happened to him.

Not 10 years later, not 50 years later.

No one found out what happened here.

Jack's life as a not so ordinary teenager ended in that alleyway.

But his unordinary life, somewhere else... Only began.
