Hanni was the first one to break the silence.
"So are we just going to sit around and stare, or is someone going to tell us what's happened?" she spat, looking irritated. Mei, who hadn't yet left her side, tried to soothe her by whispering calming words to her, but Hanni just brushed her off. "No. Don't tell me what to do. I'm sick of this-this-this-this sh*t!"
Xiajun raised an eyebrow. "Oh yes? Sick of what, if I may ask?"
She scoffed. "You wake us up every damned morning like it's your own house," she retorted, standing up. "You think we're grateful for the intrusions? All of us?" She gestured towards the other girls, keeping her eyes firmly on Xiajun's. Mei squeaked, trying to pull her down by the arm; she looked embarrassed and very worried for her friend.
Xiajun watched them for a moment and scoffed to himself. Hanni looked towards him, her eyes wide with rage.
