“Holy shit! That is such a foolish scheme!” Percy hissed in exasperation while talking to Gregory and Ashton.

He’d overheard almost all of Rohan and Diego’s conversation inside the car. It wasn’t his fault, though. Rohan and Diego should have whispered if they had wanted to keep their secret arrangement under wraps. He had pretended to be asleep until Rohan picked him up, brought him out from the car and all the way into his bedroom, and placed him on the bed. He’d waited until the two alphas left his bedroom and went downstairs before he video called his two best friends. Fortunately, they were available, and most importantly, Jason was already asleep. Percy didn’t want Jason to tell Diego he’d eavesdropped on the conversation.

“I think that’s lovely,” Gregory said.

Percy rolled his eyes. “It’s fucking stupid. Why can’t they behave like normal people and tell me straight to my face that they like me?”
