“Whatever your reason is, I’m glad you’ve selected Rohan and me,” Diego added.
Percy nodded. “You’re obviously still anxious, though. Will it help if you get to touch me a little?”
Diego snickered. “You can smell the apprehension in my alpha pheromones, can’t you? Am I leaking that much?”
Percy grinned. “Yeah, and it’s starting to affect me.”
“Do you mind?”
Percy shook his head. “I wouldn’t have offered if I did. I promise as long as the physical contact is appropriate and fully consented to on my part, I won’t freak out.”
