15 Staying in Calla City

I am lying on my bed with my arm on my forehead. I was thinking about my past decisions.

"What a headache," I mumbled.

It's not a big problem. I'm just being childish and complaining. I mean there are so many things to hide and things to be careful of.

It appears I have to be more resilient in the future. I made mistakes that I have to correct.

Lumine and Paimon are not here. It seems they wanted to complete today's commission. What was the commission again?

On yeah, the third commission has already been completed. The last one should be to defeat elemental slimes. So they are out in the outskirts.

Raising my body, sitting on the edge of the bed. I glance at the Claymore leaning on a nearby wall.

Yup, no time to rest.

I grabbed the claymore and came to the courtyard to practice. It was already night, but I did not mind it. I have to become stronger.

Because I know for sure that Lumine will become even stronger in the future. I can't just sit around and do nothing.

I met someone peculiar today. There were two, or three of them. They appear to be travelers as they do not know anything related to Mondstadt.

Although they should be travelers what made me interested was the boy. He was not handsome, just a little bit above average. He is also quite cute.

I just find him relaxing.

Not because he was cute but because he had this aura covering him. An aura that just makes you get closer to him.

Even Captain Rizark is in a good mood chatting with the boy. That man is usually a die-hard instructor, all of his subordinates fear him so much that a word from him could boost morale.

Just looking at the boy. Is he some kind of messiah or something? What's a messiah?

After interacting with the boy, he is clueless yet he seems to know everything.

What surprised me the most, is he knows about my dance. The dance that I love the most. He also seemed so curious about it.

What is he? Why did he know about it? He should be new to Mondstadt, there should be a few people who know about that dance.

I got intrigued. I tested him.

The result. He passed, he is strong. Given time he would be as strong as me or more.

I permitted him to watch me dance. My heart fluttered as I said so. Does he know the meaning of watching a female dance?

Does he get embarrassed? He is so courageous. Didn't he see that the others were looking at him with shocked expressions?

He is clueless.

I thought it was just cultural differences but as I observed him. He seems to ogle my body when I turn my head. He would hastily look away.

He is indeed interested in me. How? This is the first time meeting with each other.

Then after winning the battle, I let him watch me dance. It was so embarrassing I wanted to find a hole to hide.

We sat on the log for so long. I don't even know what to say. I waited for him to say anything but I watched him from the side. He seemed stiffened.

He looks so cute. We should be in the same age. He also claimed to make a harem for himself which made me give him a stink eye.

But look at him. Like a harmless puppy.

I told him, I wanted to start as friends. He looks sad. I can't let him think I'm frivolous.

"Ronan. We're back. We got the Commission rewards on the way back." Paimon and Lumine entered the room.

"Oh, good work. I apologize I wasn't able to accompany the two of you."

"Don't worry. We are a team. But, I expect you to not be lazy next time." Lumine sat on her bed. "Did you see her dance?"

"I did."

"Do you like that woman?" Thinking for a moment, Lumine asked.

"I didn't know the customs of this world. The truth is, I just wanted to see her dance." I replied honestly. "I do like her..."

"Anyways, Lumine I wanted to tell you about your brother." I hurriedly changed the topic. I don't want to talk about this kind of thing. It's embarrassing.

Lumine wanted to pursue her questions. She can't help but be curious. Like any girl out there, she is also a bit curious about that kind of topic. Due to her missing Brother, she kept that issue on the side.

Hearing about her Brother. Lumine set aside her questions for now.

Lumine remained silent, but her shoulder trembled.

"He is an enemy of Teyvat? Why? I don't understand. He is not a bad person. My brother is not the kind of person who hurts innocents. How can he become the leader of a such group." Lumine stared at me, looking for an answer.

I shake my head. "I also don't know the reason. Before I could progress the storyline, I was sent here."

I also have my phone. I found that the wiki is working. With this, it could help me with small things. Although some information is useless as the world is different from before.

I found out some information about Lumine's brother but not much.

"I see." Lumine lowered her head.

"You were ogling at the lady earlier. Is she your type?" Giving me a stinky eye, Lumine said distastefully.

That word pierced me, it hurts. It seems not only Eula noticed it but Lumine too. Now, I can't fix my reputation. I want to cry badly.

"Let's get our dinner first."

"Dinner!" Paimon appeared out of nowhere. Did she return from her dimension after seeing the atmosphere earlier? Sometimes this mascot can be mindful.
