6 The new clothes

'Hmm... What should I do...' Thought Xiangling

Currently, she and Gouba are walking through Chihu Rock, a street of Liyue, each carrying two books. She was wondering whom she could sell the books; although she knows many people in Liyue, very few of them take interest in literature.

'Let's see... There's Granny Ming, Uncle Wu, Yerin, and Mister Zheng... These people like to collect books if I remember correctly...' Xiangling thought as she placed the hand on her chin

Her thinking, however, was interrupted by a sweet and soft voice. "Oh my, for a beautiful young lady such as yourself making that expression... You must be thinking hard about something, but what is it?"

Xiangling turned her head and what caught her attention was a beautiful woman standing outside her shop. "Ah, let me guess, it's your lover, isn't it? If so, I have the perfect perfume~"

"M-Miss Ying'Er! W-What are you talking about?!" The flustered Xiangling replied

The woman that spoke to her was Ying'Er, a shop assistant for the Scent of Spring at Chihu Rock, a shop for fine vases. She also makes perfumes as a side job.

Her eyes then moved to the books Xiangling was holding and pointed at it and asked: "So, what do we have here, huh?"

Xiangling was silent for a moment before regaining her composure. "Ah! Yes! Miss Ying'Er, do you like romance novels?"

At this moment, Ying'Er felt like coughing up blood with the price Xiangling just said. "Err... Is there a discount?"

Xiangling just looked at her innocently and replied, "I don't think so...?"

Xiangling handed her one book and she gave her the Mora. Xiangling counted them before bowing to Ying'Er and thanking her once more. After that, she waved at the latter and left.

Ying'Er, however, opened the manga and started reading and found a rather unique way of interpreting a story. 'Let's see how such a book would cost so much...'

After that, she immersed herself in reading the manga.

For Xiangling, however, she was striking around Chihu Rock with Gouba. "Look, Gouba! We managed to sell one! Just three more and we'll get the end of our deal!"

Igarashi, who had nothing to do and is just waiting for Xiangling to sell all the manga, is currently idling around the streets of Liyue.

It was a lavender-colored Tang Suit with golden weaved designs stretching from the right shoulder to the chest. The collar was also weaved with a golden design that went down to the bottom and go to both sides of the suit. There were also hand pockets that are not that visible. For the wrists, there are also golden weaved patterns.
