I highly enjoy this fanfiction and I think that the lowest it could ever get would be a 3. The main problem that I have is with the system that the main character gets. you are going to either like it or immediately hate it or just not mind it at all and because it's so prevalent throughout the story that's why this gets at 3 but definitely not lower than that. I honestly think it's horrible and wished it would stop talking the sheer fact that it continues to do so makes it feel like we have two main characters and the change of pov is very obnoxious. Every time I'm getting invested into the story or the character it feels like everything becomes a joke whenever that thing talks. I can't really enjoy myself because whenever there's a satisfying moment it just completely gets evaporated when the system talks. sure it was entertaining at first but the more it continues the more i started to realize this is not as good as it should be and it just continues. But if you like it then it should be five stars if you ignore it and it doesn't bother you then it's about 4 stars just because you're constantly ignoring what the author is writing which would indicate that there is something wrong. also have a problem with the way that the damage is calculated and I kind of wish it was more organic feeling but I digress that one's more of a Nick pic. overall this isn't bad and if it wasn't for the system being so prevalent and talkative in the story this would be top tier.
Just read up to the remaining chapters on Questionable Questing and so far this fanfic is looking good. Obviously its way too early to give a definite review but I like most of the things this fanfic offers. The story being slow-paced is completely fine imo and makes the character interactions/relationships more fleshed out, giving them more meaning. The MC is enjoyable and has his own charms, he may seem like a simp to Hestia at first but its not like he's gonna become some kind of slave towards her of course. Plus the fluffy moments created between the two are very wholesome to boot. I also do like the MC's background isn't your average Otaku and is someone who was in the military who mostly knows what he's doing. That's all I have for my small review but I do have some questions that's mostly just about the future harem. 1) Will Ais, Ryuu and Riveria be in the harem? (I know Ais is pretty overused but you honestly can't go wrong with her and Riveria is underrated based on what I've seen, I just really like elf girls) 2) How big will the harem be like estimated-wise? (I personally feel like having a small harem in the world of Danmachi filled with great waifus is weird imo so I'm a big harem supporter) 3) Will the future Familia members be able to keep up with the MC somewhat? (The MC is growth will be quite fast so I'm worried his Familia members will become burdens even with the team boosts the MC has)
I've already read up to chapter 6 on questionable questing and I can assure you that this is a great read, and probably my favorite danmachi fic. The writing is great with little to no grammar issues, but it can be a bit wordy at times. The character relationships feel super wholesome. Fellbane was able to make someone like me, who isn't too fond of Hestia, like her quite a lot in this fic. Freya's yandere-ness is also always a treat to read. The protagonist, Ramiel, seems to be quite likable. He's quite proactive and knows what he wants. The interactions between him and the system are also usually amusing. Of course, there really isn't enough content yet to make an in-depth review, but I think the fic shows a lot of promise, and I'm excited to read more.
