Gaia

Selene turned to me first, shock on her face. That shock quickly turned into fury and I found myself blasted back. I shrugged off the blast and brushed myself off just as Selene threw herself into my arms.

"Blake, where the fuck have you been?"

"Family issues, I'm back now though."

"We're having a long conversation once we're done here."

I nodded, "I'm not supposed to interfere but fuck that noise, this seems like it's dragged on for a while."

Selene sighed, "no matter how many Tiamat kills the monsters just keep coming back faster and faster."

"That won't be an issue I'll just go seal them off from getting back."

"You're leaving again?!" Lena called out as she turned a drakon into a pincushion.

"Nah, I'll be back before you know."

"We're having a-

"A long conversation once this is done, I know. Selene already hit me with that. Focus on your hunters." I kissed Selene and waved at Lena before flashing away again.

This time I appeared at the mortal side of the Doors of Death. The doors looked broken with monsters scrambling to get out. I frowned at the bent and broken doors.

"What the fuck happened here?"

An explosion drew my attention to the rear of the swarming monsters. A giant was smashing it way through the doors.

'For fucks sake… why don't you asshats just die.'

I pulled out the Elder Wand, not waiting for the giant I started blasting monsters apart while flying just out of reach. Once in a while I'd block an arrow with my wings before returning fire with a blasting curse.

'There's way too many of these assholes. Something isn't right.'

Sky Scorcher replaced the wand and I threw it at the giant only for the spear to get caught by a hand wreathed in green vines. I frowned and tried to call my weapon back. A woman, practically nude only covered by a few leaves and vines, smirked at me as she twirled my spear in her hand.

"Gaia I presume."

"You would be correct spawn of Chaos."

I launched a hail of swords at the primordial only for her to disappear. The swords hit the monsters where she had just been standing. The monsters get sucked into the void as I summon more swords. Gaia reappears behind me swinging Sky Scorcher. I dodge my own weapon and try to grab it out of her hands. Gaia kicks me in the chest and I wince as I felt several ribs shatter.

I hadn't been actually hurt in a long time, I got back up from where I landed and glared at the green woman.

Taking a regular sword out of my Inventory I charged again. The sword didn't last long against my Divine weapon. Gaia laughed as she kicked me away again. I cast Observe on her to see why she was pushing me back so easily.

Gaia Lvl. ?? Primordial of Earth

Race: Primordial

Status: Avatar of Gaia (Empowered by Apophis)

HP: 10,000,000,000

MP: 5,000,000,000

Allegiance: Gaia

'What the fuck.'

With no weapon in hand I start throwing bolts of lightning at the primordial goddess barely chipping away at her health.

'Is she just that much of a higher level than I am that I can't do significant damage to her?'

I thought of all the possible reasons and came to the conclusion that the prophecy that was mentioned by Hera a while back definitely had something to do with this.

'But if that was the case then how the hell did I beat Kronos when he's also tied to a prophecy?'

Nothing made sense, I dodged another swipe from my own weapon and snarled in rage. My own weapon was being used against me and I couldn't do anything but dodge. Pumping all of my MP into a spear of lightning I threw it at Gaia's avatar.

The primordial shrieked and dropped my spear. I summoned it back to my hand and charged the injured primordial only to be backhanded away.

My attack had left a gaping hole in her shoulder but it was already healing. Taking a look at her ridiculous hit points I frowned at the fact that it was also recovering just as fast.

Transforming my spear into its wand form again I sent dozens of spells at Gaia. Forcing her to step back from the sheer amount I was casting her way.

Knowing that I couldn't defeat her I teleported away just as she blasted where I had been flying with a ray of power. Catching my breath I looked over to the decimated corpses of the giants that had finally been beaten.

The monsters had also stopped spawning but everyone was still on edge, ready for another fight.

Selene saw me first and ran to my side. She looked a bit worried at how torn up my clothes were.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Gaia,' The ground rumbled when I said her name. "She showed up at the Doors. Her avatar form is strong. Surprisingly so, we need to get everyone there now."

"No need, I shall come to you."

All the Olympians tensed and readied their weapons. The demigods got into a defensive formation. I sighed and let my power course through my body. A swirl of dirt rose into the air slowly forming a body. Not one to watch as an enemy got herself ready I threw a bolt of lightning at the swirling mass of earth and plants. The other gods followed suit. Unfortunately it did nothing, Gaia's avatar finished forming and hovered in the air for a moment before crashing down onto the ground. Her landing caused an earthquake that knocked a few people over.

We didn't let up, bolts of lightning, waves of water, hundreds of arrows, flames, and even skeletal hordes threw themselves at the avatar of the Earth Mother. She shrugged them all off as if they were gnats. The demigods shot arrows at her, again to no avail.

"Blake, you can not beat her. The whole planet is her domain."

'Mom? What the fuck? How are we supposed to beat her then?'

"The demigods-'

"Fuck that, if she can toss me around like a toy what hope do the demigods stand. If I can't beat her here then I'll just have to change the battleground."

"I- That could work, be careful. She will still be powerful. She has eons of experience over you."

"So you know?"

"That you've ascended to the highest order? Yes, we'll be having a conversation about that soon."

"Fine, let me deal with this then."

While talking with my mother in the middle of a battle wasn't a great idea, I also didn't stop attacking. Gaia threw open her arms with a shout.

"Enough! You ants will know you place."

Percy ran forward to attack, I shoved him back with a gust of wind. He looked my way and I shook my head.

"Let me deal with this, kid. You guys have done enough."

"Ah, the prodigal brother. Come to kill me have you?"

I ignored her, turning to everyone I spoke loudly so that they all heard me.

"Stand down, let me deal with this crusty bitch."

Looking at Lena and Selene I sent them a mental order.

'I'll be back, I figured something out. Keep the bed warm.'

The duo nodded after a bit of hesitation.

"I WILL NOT BE IGNORED!!" Gaia shouted shaking the earth again.

"Oh fuck off, you talk too much." I rushed at her and tackled her and teleported to my universe.

I felt her power drop immediately after her connection to the earth was cut off. She looked around in rage and I drew Sky Scorcher from my inventory.

"Not so tough now are you?"

"Die!" She screamed.

She flicked her hand at me and sent spikes made out of dirt at me. Blocking them with my spear I launched a sword at her from my inventory. She blocked it with a wall of dirt, kicking the wall she sent more spikes at me when the wall exploded.

'So she's still strong even out of Earth.'

She blasts at me with earth spikes once more. I retaliate with black flames and a large bolt of lightning. She screams when she fails to block the bolt of electricity.

Her body spasms as she falls to the ground. Sky Scorcher appears in my hand, I crush the temptation to gloat. Nothing good ever came to those who gloat over 'defeated' enemies. Instead I look at Gaia with a small amount of pity before speaking to her for the last time.

"Sorry about this… you really should have just stayed asleep."

I covered Sky Scorcher with void energies, Gaia looks at the spear with fear. I can see the resignation in her eyes.

"Just make it quick." She sighed.

Nodding I thrust the spear through her chest directly into her heart. Gaia screams in pain before being promptly erased. I feel her power rush into me as I absorb her domains. I teleport away and appear in front of Nyx who was lounging on a couch.

"Is it done?"

"Done, Gaia is dead. Do you want to do this now or when everyone gets back so I can call a meeting in Olympus?"

"Call a meeting in Olympus, better so that you don't have to repeat yourself later."

"Are you really sure that you're going to be fine handling the power increase?"

"I'v- I've been thinking about it… and I want to give my domain to you."

"But why? I thought you wanted the power?"

"I did, but I think being the Primordial of Night would suit you much better."

"I already have the domain of creation, can I not just make night and darkness?"

"You could but you'd have finer control with the actual domain over the Night."

"Whatever,' I sighed. "I already have plenty of broken powers, might as well add another to the collection."

Internally laughing at the General Grievous joke I unwittingly made I teleported with Nyx to Olympus before blasting a lightning bolt into the sky to signal for a meeting.

I only waited for several seconds before the first gods and goddesses arrived. Selene and Lena were the first to appear in twin flashes of light. Lena ushered her hunters to a designated spot while Selene ran up to me and threw herself into my arms.

Catching the hybrid turned goddess I kissed her with passion ignoring the others in the room. She broke away from the kiss with a smile.

"I've missed that."

"We'll have plenty more when we get home. I just have a few announcements. I'll give an explanation to where I've been too."

Selene nodded and took her seat, Lena also gave me a kiss and a hug before taking her seat after she had gotten her hunters situated.

Looking over at Nyx who was standing by my throne I spotted a momentary flash of jealousy on her face. Sighing I walked back over and sat on my throne.

"I knew you'd have more than one woman, but I can't help but feel… something when I see you showing them affection."

"You've managed to worm your way into my heart Nyx, there's no need to be jealous. I adore all of you equally."

She blushed, the color looked out of place in her monochromatic outfit and startlingly pale skin. The rest of the Olympians arrived along with the demigods and she schooled her expression. Once everyone was on their respective thrones I began the meeting.

"I want to keep this short and to the point. The war, if you want to call it that, is over."

"She's dead?" Poseidon asked with a look of shock on his face.

"Dead, erased from reality, taking the room temperature challenge."

A few demigods snickered at my joke, mainly Percy, who immediately shut up when Annabeth swatted his arm.

"But how?" Athena asked, "She's the earth itself, she can not be beaten unless sh-

"Exactly, which brings me to my second point. I took her to my domain. If you didn't know, a while ago, as in nearly half a year ago I went into Tartarus for a second time.

There I met my half sister,' Nyx nodded at everyone in greeting. 'Some of you may know her, if not let me introduce her. This is Lady Nyx, the Primordial of Night, mother to a number of your 'minor' gods. Grandmother of Aphrodite and soon to be the new Primordial of Earth."

There were mutterings of shock, Aphrodite looked at Nyx with a bit of curiosity especially her clear pregnancy.

Selene and Lena looked at her with raised eyebrows then to me with matching looks of 'explain'. Since the Olympian council remained silent I continued to speak.

"She is also carrying my child and heir to the Olympian throne."

At that the room burst into noise as people started arguing about hierarchy and who was next in line to the head throne. Shutting everyone up with a sonic boom from my spear I looked around the now silent room.

"There will be no arguments. I have made up my mind and have decided that this world is far to… bothersome, for my liking. I will stay long enough to raise my child to take the throne, then I will return to my travels."

"But you're the king, you need to be here." Hera protested.

"Ah, that brings me to my next topic. While I was gone I had a bit of a promotion, if you will. I am now the new Primordial of Creation and Destruction. I want to explore these new powers and to do so I can not be bound to a throne."

"What?!" Multiple voices shouted.

"What of Lady Chaos?" Hades asked.

"Lady Chaos is still the Primordial of Creation, nothing changes. I just have similar powers now and am seeking to create my own universe."

"I- I see, then what about the demigods?" Poseidon looked at his son.

"Right, just because I'm leaving doesn't mean I will never visit. Nyx is staying here to watch over the earth obviously, and my heir will be here along with his sisters should they choose to stay." I looked over to Selene and Lena. "Their mother and I will have a conversation with them after we are done here."

"What's left?" Hestia asked from where she prodded the fire.

"Awarding the demigods of course."
