chapter 20: battling a barbarian.

"I won't be going easy on you."

hearing Herman replie Curt grinned from ear to ear in excitement.

" trait arts: barbarian resolve"

"Barbarian retribution", shouted Curt as his aura shot up, immediately he took a stance like a grappler and charged at Herman.

the moment he got within range he threw a faint before attempting to grab and throw Herman in the opposite direction like a rag doll.

After Herman got thrown around like a ragdoll he and looked to his previous position he saw Curt coming at him with a knee drop aimed at his head, with vigor Herman threw himself from his position.

" it would have been a shame if it ended that easy" said Curt as he watched Herman get up from the ground.

" indeed" said Herman, as he grinned delightfully at Curt who also reciprocated with a smile until he noticed a stinging pain by his wrist and knee and saw deep cuts on his wrist and knee decisively.

Amazed and stunned Curt asked "when?" and Herman responded "when you grabbed and threw you knee at me, and when you threw yourself at me."

"Fascinating" said Curt as he bent a knee then with as much strength as he could muster lunching himself at Herman like a missile with a guard up.

"iron body"

" meteor crash"

declared Curt as he made use of his class skills the moment he was within range to invergorate his body and increase his speed at the last moment as he crashed into Herman.

bammm!

echoed violently as Curt crashed with Herman believing his body weight and Gravity should send him flying away like a ragdoll, only to find himself and Herman skidding past Herman's previous location as Herman held on tightly to him refusing to let him knock him over.

" you know if you keep attacking recklessly I might be tempted to attack your openings"

At that moment Herman received a prompt from the system, but being too focused in battle failed to realize it, and Herman with a crazed expression on his face like a predator that had gotten the taste of blood and was definitely going for more.

immediately Herman grabbed him by the right arm and pulled him closer, Curt thinking that Herman was pulling him in to land a hit on him, Curt retaliated by immediately throwing a close up upper cut at his jaw to leave Herman disorientated for a second so that he could unleash a barrage of furious punches to inflict massive damage on Herman in his disorientated state.

But sadly all his fist met was air as Herman reacted swiftly by moving his head to the side to avoid taking the hit, then with his knee cap Herman delivered a powerful hit that left him gasping for air as he was in a hunched state.

unrelentingly Herman grabbed him by the hair and delivered another knee attack, but this time Herman aimed it at his head with all his might.

Bammm!, bammm!!,

resounded violently, as Herman lunched a flury of attacks, on his head to leave him disorientated.

After delivering a flury of attacks on curts head Herman grabbed him by the head as he stood like a ragdoll in his arm and slammed him on the floor.

until he came back to his senses as he realized he had another system icon hanging by his side of his view.
