19 Chapter 19: Bleak Falls Barrow Part 4(Finale)

Instinctively I used my sword and chopped off the hand that grabbed me before quickly jumping away.

Looking over I found that one of the corpses was getting up!

Its eyes shined with a bright blue color as it stared at me.

Before it could get up I rose my sword and thrust my sword through its head, killing it.

To its side, I noticed how it had a rusty sword of a strange design.

Suddenly I heard the sound of feet walking across the cold stone floor and felt my body freeze as Danger Sense kicked in, making me dodge out of the way of a greatsword that swung down where I was previously.

Looking back I found that two more of the corpses were up and holding weapons!

What is this, the walking dead?!

Why are the corpses moving?!

Easily enough, the corpses were slow and rigid making it quite easy to kill them.

I even took one of their old swords since mine was close to breaking and even if their swords were trash, then it's better to at least have a weapon to fight with.

I continued down the crypt after making sure all of the corpses were actually dead, but I realized something, it appeared only those that were armed with weapons would reanimate, making it much easier to differentiate them.

As I delved into the crypt, I found myself fighting more and more of the reanimated dead and to my surprise even found some Septims and jewels on some of them, which has already added up to a couple of jewels and over a hundred Septims, overall this place is great for getting me some money, all I have to do is sell some of these jewels and I should get a couple hundred more Septims!

Soon after passing a strange corridor filled with swinging axes and slaying three more of the reanimated corpses, I found myself in a long corridor with carvings on the walls and a strange door at the end of the corridor.

On the door were three rows of symbols with a claw mark at the bottom...

Strange, so the Claw is the literal key?

Not only does it contain the combination but I need the claw to open the door as well?

Upon aligning the correct combination and inserting the claw into the door, I twisted and watched as all of the symbols rotated to the same before the door rubbled and began opening.

Once the door opened and allowed me to pass I stepped through and found myself in a large cave of some kind with a large stone structure ahead.

Heading towards the structure I climbed up some chairs and found myself before a large wall with a lot of strange symbols scratches resembling some kind of writing.

As I got closer I began hearing whispers of voices speaking in a language I could not understand.

I watched as the carvings began glowing in a strange blue glow.

The longer I looked at it the brighter it glowed, then suddenly a strange white stream flowed from the carvings and into my body, somehow making me feel rejuvenated.

I even felt something else enter my head, but I couldn't make sense of any of it.

BAM!

Suddenly the lid of the sarcophogaus burst open from behind me making me quickly turn around to find another reanimated corpse begging climbing out.

Suddenly my Danger Sense started going crazy, making me feel a mortal danger from the corpse before me that was holding a greathammer that emitted...ice?

Then, danger sense flashed once again as I watched the corpse open its mouth and begin taking in a deep breath.

Suddenly it shouted, "𝘍𝘶𝘴!" and a wave of air smashed into me, making me take a few steps back as I tried to regain my balance.

Then it rushed towards me...sorry, furiously waddled its way toward me with its thin and legs weak from age making me have to dodge a small distance away in order to not get hit by the large freezing Warhammer.

Before it could lift its hammer to attack me once again, I lunged forward and easily chopped of one of its hands, making it impossible for it to lift the hammer back up.

In response it let out a growl and tried to punch me, which after stepping to the side, it lost that hand as well.

Man...these things are stupid...

It easily lost its first hand due to carelessness, what makes it think that punching me would solve its problems?

If it wanted me dead then it should have attacked me after it stunned me with whatever it just did with its voice.

Wait...isn't that the same word that entered my mind from the wall?
