Chapter 14: Escape Part 4(Final)

As we looked at the spiders Ralof motioned for me to draw out the bow on my back that I got from the Imperial Soldiers back there and take out the giant spiders from a distance.

I nodded and checked my quiver and found that I had a little over 20 iron-tipped arrows.

Although I have never used a bow, I know I could at least hit a target from this distance with this simple wooden bow.

Drawing the arrow and knocking it, I began pulling back and taking aim.

Waiting for Ralof's signal, we both released at the same time.

Unexpectedly my arrow missed while Ralof's hit one of the large spiders.

"What the fuck is with these bows?! They aren't even accurate!" I shouted in anger holding the garbage wooden bow.

"It's not that they're accurate, it's just that you do not have enough skill to use it!" Shouted Ralof as he continued firing arrows, taking out two more Large Spiders.

[A/N: In real life, a single spider can give birth to hundreds more, so the spiders in this world will be a much bigger menace, so this cave which should have around 5 spiders, now has around a dozen]

Putting the bow back on my back, I put back on the shield and unsheathed the Imperial Sword, and began fighting the charging spiders that got too close.

"Why are there so many of them?!" I cursed.

"It could be worse!" Shouted Ralof as he took down another spider with an arrow.

"Worse?!" I shouted in disbelief.

What could be worse than fighting over a dozen spiders that were just a bit smaller than humans?!

Soon enough we managed to kill all the spiders.

"Make sure to collect the Venom, it can be either sold or used to poison your weapons," Ralof advised.

Nodding I pulled out an empty bottle from my inventory and began draining the venom from all the spider's fangs.

Once done I had 8 full bottles of venom.

"Okay, let's get a move on," Ralof suggested pointing over to our left where the passage continued.

I nodded and as we began to walk a sudden cold feeling washed over me as I instinctively pushed Ralof and myself out of the way.

(A/N: His quirk is just like a muscle, the more he uses it the better it gets, eventually it will be able to detect more than just Fatal Danger, the quirk also makes him feel cold, heightens his senses, and instincts, he will also be given a direction for where the danger is coming from, for example, it's coming from above so he felt the need to dodge out of the way)

Looking up from the ground we watched as two giant spiders that were even bigger than us descend from the ceiling!

"There are even bigger ones?!" I shouted in surprise!

"These aren't even the biggest!" Shouted Ralof as he fired a couple of arrows before charging at one of the large spiders.

Cursing in anger I charged as well and began to madly hack and slash at the spider I was fighting.

Of course, the Spider also attempted to fight back with its venomous bites, and the sharp ends of its legs, but I didn't just sit there and take it, I dodged and hacked at its leg, and watched as green blood spurted from the stump that used to be one of its legs.

Hissing in pain, I didn't let the Spider retaliate as I simply cut off another one of its front legs that it used to attack.

Then I shoved the sword as far as I could into the spider's head.

Huffing in exhaustion I rushed over to help Ralof kill his spider.

Once done I collected their venom before getting a minute to rest with Ralof.

Continuing through the pathway we found ourselves nearing the end of the cave, but we suddenly stopped as Ralof and I looked at the sleeping giant near the pathway to escape...

"Damn, a Bear!" Ralof cursed.

"What do you want to do? Attack it or sneak past it?" Ralof asked.

"Are you seriously asking such a question?! Sneak around it of course! I am not interested in becoming Bear food, are you?!" I retorted.

He gave me a look of annoyance but nodded.

With slow steps and silent breaths, we slowly and surely snuck past the bear and froze multiple times as the bear moved slightly.

But in the end, we made it past the Bear and out of the cave!

"Get down!" Shouted Ralof as the dragon flew over us and towards the mountains.

"I think it's gone..." Ralof told me standing back up.

"Come, we should get to Riverwood, it is a few hour's walk from here and it's best if we get there before night," Ralof told me.

"Lead the way," With that said I froze as a screen appeared before me.
